3.6Can, 50 cl. Drinking from the can. Aromatic aroma with a hint of soap. Taste has a malty sweetness with caramel and a bitter aftertaste.
4.1Dark gold pour. Lace on rim. Fruit and floral nose sweet citrus taste with a nice hop palate.
3.5Pours a cloudy orange color with a thin white head. The aroma was kind of a citrus with some pine. The flavor had some citrus, pine and caramel notes. Overall, a very good beer.
3.3Clear golden appearance with a fluffy beige head. Aroma of zesty hops, mild floral notes and light cereal/grain. Similar flavor, adding moderate hop bitterness and light oxidized notes. Medium body with a slightly unpleasant finish.
3.0Golden Amber, hazy/clear decent head and better lacing. Voluminous head disappeared within a few minutes.
Pleasant and sweet up front with nominal bitterness followed by a small bite.
Fruity, bread, molasses, grain, cereal, sweet.
$8.88/6 pack, 12oz cans from Total Wine And More, Boca Raton, Florida
3.812 oz can, pours murky orange golden with white head. Modest tropical fruit hops aroma. Fruity and piney taste, leading to a bitter finish.
4.0opalescent orange colour, medium sized dense; yellowis off-white head; aroma and taste of marmalade, citruses, tropical fruity and biscuity notes; good IPA
3.8330ml bottle served in an ordinary glass. Pours a clear orange color forming a medium and quite persistent white soapy head that forms and leaves some thin lingering lacings in the glass. Nose is very citric. Strong notes of tangerine, grapefruit, orange zest and caramel malts. Pine hints. Slightly sweet upfront taste. Again, strong citrus notes: tangerine, grapefruit, zest, caramel malts. Hints of pine and melon. Medium persistent and lingering hops bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Citrus tangerine in the aftertaste. Great drinkability. Great West Coast IPA
4.0Can. Pleasant but subdued hop aroma and flavor. Slightly sweet; not as sweet at the best of the current strong IPAs. 60% hop / 40% malt flavor mix. No off-flavors. Appropriately bitter finish. A good beer, but not as hoppy, tasty, or satisfying as the current best of the strong IPAs, such as Cape May Coastal Evacuation.
2.4Plain IPA nothing special
3.2Can - 355ml. Hazy golden body with a thick, slowly fading, white foamy head. Hoppy aroma with malty and resinous hints. Its hoppy taste carries malty/herbal, and piney notes. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Not bad.
4.112oz Dose. Naturtrüb gelb. Luftiger heller Schaum. Tropischer Fruchduft. Passionfruit, Mango. Auch im Geschmack der tropische Obstsalat. Mango, Guave, Passion. Schöner Hopfenduft. Abgang Harz und Karamell. Dazu süffig. Gelungen.
3.412-ounce can on which it reads that it was brewed in Utica, N.Y. -- nowhere near California! It pours a clear gold with a tiny beige creamy head and residual lacing. Aroma: not much, just some faint malty sweetness. Flavor: malt-forward with caramel, toffee, honey and brown sugar, along with biscuit, steamed cabbage, orange, and some pine at the finish. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied with a slick finish.
3.6Pours clear amber with a thick, fine white head. Aroma of Citrus and lemongrass. Taste is lightly hopped, sweet and rife with citrus and fruit elements. Palate contains slightly resinous lemongrass as well as some herbal notes. Fruity overall. Good.
3.8This beer pour cloudy also with a nice head
The beer has a slight fruity flavor
2.8Can.
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, caramel), lightly to moderately hoppy (orange, stale flowers, herbs).
Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Nose is ok, though a tad dull...slight resemblance to British ales with the stale hop smell, but mostly citrus. Rather sour in the mouth with a slightly off aftertaste, and a very watery mouthfeel. About average overall.
3.412 oz. can. Pours a medium, well retained white head, with moderate lacing, over a slightly hazy and tiny particle laden amber (SRM 6) body......nose is pine, slight resin, juicy fruit tones, all from hops, mild toasted malt tones......taste is slightly sweet notes with mild toasted malt tones, juicy fruits, slight dankness, pine hints, finishing with lingering hop bitterness......mouth feel, medium body, mild alcohol, moderate carbonation. This falls well into the American IPA style, with slight tones towards the "New England" variation. Drinkable and enjoyable. Appearance a bit off from this can. BJCP 8/2/13/4/7
3.5Clear maize yellow pour with white head and solid lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine, and some caramel malt. Citrus fruit flavor with some caramel sweetness, pine, and a bit of a hop bite. Decent beer.
3.412 oz can from IPA variety pack. Smells of malt and pine. Clear, light orange in color. Tastes of malts followed by a resinous pine punch. Lingering bitter piney finish. A solid hoppy IPA for when you want something bitter.
3.3Can from a branch of Total Wine in Sterling, Virginia. Deep amber in colour, with moderate carbonation. Citrus hops, rich and slightly sweet malts, juicy orange fruit followed by a dryish finish. Good.
3.7can @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of malt and citrus hops. Clear medium brass color, white head that stays, strings of lace. Taste is malt that adds good citrus on a medium carbonated swallow. Malty hops drift amiably through a long finish. A little high abv for me, but an excellent IPA.
3.7Hazy golden color with a big thick head. Aroma of resinous hops. Lightly sweet, medium bitterness, medium body, soft carbonation, long dry bitter finish.
3.4Can. Musty gold color, very still, little head. Moderate aromatics. Pretty much a MOTR American IPA, cleanly assembled with firm malty base and assertive-enough west coast flair. (#7190, 9/2018)
3.5Can pour into taster cup at Craft Brew Race, Portland. Appearance is mildly hazy light brown, 1/2-finger width foamy head, no discernible sparkle. Aroma is floral, more muted fruit, caramel/brown sugar background. Taste is more malty than hoppy--the hops provide more bitterness than taste. Strong malty backbone with hint of floral/fruit around the edges. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and mix of malty, floral finish. Overall, not a bad brew at all, but more malty than hoppy--seems more appropriate as a pale ale. Even so, pretty one dimensional and fair.
4.0Delicious IPA! You get the fruit flavors with the nice bitter finish. Everything feels so light and perfectly balanced. The alcohol is very well hidden. Very drinkable. It goes down very easy. I will buying more of this beer! Very refreshing.
4.1Can. Hazy straw color with foamy off-white head. Nose like a classic west coast IPA. I really like the heavier malt presence on this. It doesn’t detract from the hop profile expected of an IPA. I’ll be picking this up a lot more often.
3.4Clear gold with thin white head
Aroma is mild hoppy crude oily notes
Flava is grainy bitter with notes of oil
Feels medium with foamy fizzy zing
Finishes bitter some grain notes
3.312 oz can. Pours bright yellow gold with a white head. Scents of citrus hops and some malt. Sour hops with a malt backbone. Medium carbonation. Steady IPA not distinctive.
4.0From the can. This has become one of my favorite “everyday” type of beers. Nice good tasting IPA. Not too hoppy . Smooth easy drinking and refreshingly good.
3.3Can. Tangerine/orange, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with with large off white head. Moderately sweet over-ripe orange, biscuit malt, and moderately strong bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Okay - strong hops.
