Contact High is a hoppy wheat ale we dry hopped with blood orange zest. Contact high pours a bright orange hue with a big citrus aroma. A very refreshing beer!! Think of a beermosa with only beer!

2.6On tap old chicago. Very bready, tasted more rye than wheat. Dry, . Only ok. More hoppy than i care for.
4.0appearance: hazy light yellow orange, with a soapy-to-foamy white head and average lacing. aroma: sharp, bright, fresh, full of citrus, fresh grass, candied orange peel. taste: as the aroma indicates, with some herbal, peppery notes in addition. finish: hint of tartness, lingering hoppy, fresh grassy citrus notes; zingy palate. notes: Really excellent wheat beer. Hoppy, citrusy, and fresh. Can at World of Beer.
3.5Has a really hoppy aroma and flavor. Pours a murky orange hue. Really good. Would drink again.
3.5Cloudy straw color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of wheat, floral, & nice citrus zest; Flavor of sweet malt, wheat, yeast, hops, and rich citrus (notably orange & lemon peel); Nice one.
3.8Had it on tap at Crown Liquors. Pours a clear yellow color, with a thin white head and fishnet stocking like lacing. Very prominent wheat taste with a citrus hop backside.
3.4Super refreshing after cutting the grass. Nice orange aroma though great balance of orange hop and wheat
3.5Can. Aroma is orang hoppy citrus. Taste is bitter orange hoppy. Not bad and low alcohol for beer type.
3.7Can. Very pale, very clear dandelion yellow hue with a sudsy white cap. The aroma’s citrus-forward, packed full of tangerine zest and a hint of creamy wheat and dried brioche. There’s less separation between these notes in the flavor; everything melds into a package of bitter orange peel and crackers. The finish is quite dry, with lingering hop/citrus bite. Compact.
3.5can shared that poured a hazy yellow color initial aroma was orange, orange peel or zest. any which way it was good. nice wheat backbone and with the orange almost makes it a wit without the spice. but this is a solid summer beer, good flavor and very drinkable.
2.2Lightly hazed, light straw color with a diminished white head. Light wheat, and some catty/tomato scents. Slightly dated can, but really, this went downhill really quickly. Flavors match scents with light fruit and cooked vegetables. Pineapple, unripe citrus, hickory nut hulls, cactus juice, etc. Nope, not getting it.
2.2I should have known better. Can that says best by 11/23/15, but Jakebra wants me to crush it. Well-oxidized, but not as bad as I anticipated. Still get some fruity esters over the cardboard. Drank it quickly.
3.8Hazy yellow-orange with a medium sized head. The aroma is citrusy orange with caramel malt and some spicy, herbal hop notes. The flavor is smooth and a bit sweet upfront, with some nice citrusy orange notes all the way through. Pretty nice.
3.6Can at the booth during Boston Comic Con. Fairly clear gold with a thin white head. Soft resinous hops, a bit of malt behind it, citrus. Medium bodied, fruity and a touch sweet, malt comes through. Malt and resinous hops into the finish, malt and toast, light bitterness.
3.7Pretty good for a style that can tend towards boring. Aroma of citrus, particularly pineapple and orange. Nice copper and ginger color. Light and crisp palate. Flavors were hints of wheat, citrus hops and a slight harshness from the blood orange. Unique.
3.4Cloudy gold appearance with an average size, short lived, white head that left modest lacing. Aroma is packed with citrus, mostly orange, along side pitted fruit. Flavor is vibrant to a point then looses its punch as the wheat and sweet malts dull the taste buds. Some salvation in the aftertaste as herbal, spicy hops show up. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel and a lingering finish.
3.612 oz can from a friend. Big citrus and orange peel aroma with light bready malts and toasted grains. Zesty and refreshing flavor that adds some grassy, herbal and floral notes. Pretty tasty wheat ale overall.
3.5Wow. Normally I have to say that I am not a fan of "zest". When that word shows up on a beer can, I know I’ll be pinching my nose to keep it from stinging and swallowing hard to keep it from biting my throat on the way down. This however, is throwing soft blood orange punches, and every one of them is encased in a massive cloud of spicy, aromatic goodness. The nose is heavy orange, delightful and warm and buoyed by a layer of spruce. It pours gracefully, slick, light-bodied and golden; the head white, soft and a bit dense. -- The first sip is shocking. I had expected to become instantly disappointed in the flavor because of the zest. Instead, I’m pulling it in deeply and savoring the flavors that, I realize, quite mirror the aroma. Lovely! The hops bite my tongue, drying it, leaving a trail of bitter on the length of it; then in comes that orange sweetness, sweeping the bites and soothing the sere. What a fabulous combination! -- The beer is almost gone, it started a cool 43, was perfect at about 50 and the last, deep swallow from my glass registers at 62. The finish is a little long and much too zesty for me. That unfortunate zing I was expecting at the beginning is apparent at the back of my throat if I don’t pick up the glass for a few minutes, but while I am drinking the beer, the beer is awesome. This is going to be a personal preference issue, so be aware of that if you want to try this. It’s fun, tasty, different and if you haven’t tried it, I’ll recommend you do. This is an awesome brew for a hot summer evening!
4.5Best Hoppy wheat beer I have ever had. Great orange zest flavor that compliments the hop profile of pineapple and mango. No harsh hop bitterness or oniony hop flavors. Just sweet wheat, orange/pineapple hop and blood orange zest goodness!
3.1Can 355ml @ The Pig, Washington, DC
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, citrus, grass and orange peel. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long slightly dry, orange, grassy and citrus finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
3.1Can, at the pig, DC. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small white head. Pineapple and a generic tropical fruity touch. Some reason notes too. It’s soft and medium bodied, quite dry. Peaches, pineapple and a decent bitterness in the flavor, with a medium length finish. A refreshing one, but a tad too focused on fruits I think. 150619
3.1Golden pour with off white head. Has a orange, citrus, and earthy aroma. Flavors of orange, grains, and pine. Decent overall.
3.6Aroma of hops yellow in color. Taste is kind of bready. Sits OK on the palate. Not really that good.
3.32014 can. Light, clear yellow color with an orange tint, white head. Aroma is really nice, rich citrus and orange. Taste is the orange zest then the pine hops balance it out. Little malt sweetness but don't detect much wheat flavor.
3.7Draft at Churchkey for their SAVOR event. Poured a blonde color with a small white head. Aroma was some light wheat notes, citrus hops. Lots of resin. Pretty tasty.
3.7Draft. Clear light yellow color. Nice citrus aroma. Taste has grapefruit and bitter lemon. Decent.
3.6Light but very nice grapefruit aroma with some hay. Blonde pour with some head. Light bitter finish. Soft carbonation. Very smooth and nice for style. Like what a good wheat beer is without all the hops experimentation going on in the style these days. Tap at Churchkey.
3.6Golden pour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit. Light fruitiness, orange, nice wheat base. Nice flavor. Hop aftertaste. Nice lacing.
3.612 oz. con pours a clear orange color with moderate white head and some lacing. Aroma has pineapple, orange, and wheat bread. Taste is malty sweet with a little hoppy bitterness in the clean finish, but with a bready aftertaste. Body is light to medium with a crisp mouthfeel and slight carbonation. An easily drinkable, slightly different summer beer which is worth a try
3.512oz can, received as an extra in trade. Pours a clear, amber-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, orange, pineapple. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, bread, some bitter pine hops, bitter orange, with a light bitter finish.
3.4Tap @ Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar - St. Louis: Another great hoppy summer beer. Pleasant to the nose with a thin body and a hoppy finish. Well done.
