3.7Smakt på Skjenkestua på Strømsø. En klassiker som aldri er feil. Fra Drammen? Ja :-).
2.4Boks drukke hjemme. Klar karamellfarge, moderat karbonert, stor tykk skumtopp. Smaker malt, karamell, brunt sukker og noe gress. Ettersmak av kokte grønnsaker. En helt grei boksøl, men for mye karamell etter min smak

Light beige-apricotish head, fluffy, makes some lacings. Clear dark amber body.
Fruity roasted malts in scents.
Mild taste with malts in centre, sweet malts, roasted malts, butter.
Smooth, slightly watery to palate. Aftertaste is mild, caramellic malts, faint cognac hints, not longlasting. Overall; possible to improve some sides by this beer.
2.8Malty sweet pleasant start are being robbed by a bitter short watery finish. Probably not the worst drinking beer but with so many new good norwegian beers entering the Norwegian marked improvement is needed.
3.4Appearance Clear copper, with a big cream coloured head that lasts for a while and leaves a nice lacing on the glass.
Aroma Malty notes of butterscotch, burnt sugar and roasted nuts, with a woody finish.
Taste Medium sweetness, with a sharp bitterness that complements the sweetness very well.
Palate Medium body, lively carbonation with big bubbles
2.2Skummer greit, lukter svakt brent, søtt, anelse humle. Kobberfarget. Ok maltsødme, noe humle som forsvinner raskt. Vanndig.

2.5Mørk rødbrun farge , lite skum.
Malt og karamellukt. Smaker karamell, men alt for lite smak på denne.
Lite bitterhet, medium kullsyre.
3.1Bottle at home. Has a clear reddish brown head with a creamy light beige medium head. Malty and sweet aroma of roasted almonds, honey, dried fruit and some cocoa and wood. The flavour feels rich at first with a lot of sweet and dark malt, and then fades in a much lighter tone. Has a smooth and slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. Starts well with a nice aroma, but the taste didn’t follow up and ends a bit light and faint.
2.7Can - 500ml. Copper body with a decent off-white foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with grainy hints. Taste carries grainy notes and ends with a short malty/grainy finish. Not bad.
