Bonne bière, sans plus
Disig, gyllene. Maltig, fruktig doft. Syrlig frukt balanseras av lite honung o avslutas med hyfsad beska.
Flaske. Pilsnergul over i orange øl med perlende bobler og stort Hvidt skumhoved. Duften er let oarfumeret. Smagen er sød parfumeret og med en del alkohol. Ikke frisk nok i forhold til alkoholen men tæt på.
From the Bottle at Chris O's Pre-GBBF Shindig 30/07/2011 Banana fruit aroma. Golden coloured hazy in appearance and strong in alcohol with a floral and slightly dry malt finish.

The looks of the beer are nice. It is a nice golden yellow beer. The beer has a nice slight haziness. On top of the beer there is a nice layer of frothy white foam. Foam retention is quite high. A nice layer remains on top of the beer.
The aroma of the beer is nice. Malts give the beer some nice aromas of bread and biscuit, with some notes of caramel. The hops are nice and herbal, with some slight floral notes. The yeast gives the beer a nice spicy aroma and some fruit notes of banana. True Belgian yeast aromas. All in all, quite a nice Tripel aroma. Pretty traditional.
The taste of the beer is nice. Bitter hops, sweet malts, nice sweet alcohol. The result is a well balanced beer.
The mouthfeel of the beer is also nice. Medium body, smooth texture, high carbonation. The finish of the beer is also very nice. Nice alcohol warmth, bitter hops and some nice spicy notes. All in all, a lovely beer.
Copenhagen 11/12 2021. 33 cl bottle brought home by my in-laws as a gift. Small winelike dark bottle with a pale full moon printed on together with the name of the beer.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles a thin, consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a prominent, sweet, malty odor mingling with yeasty fumes. Sweet, pale malts. Banana and alcohol. Touch of humid cellar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet with strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness.Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy slightly metallic tang of alcohol. Finish is sweet.
Very sweet Tripel where the alcohol is all up in front.
Bière d'abbaye belge qui se boit bien malgré ses 10° d'alcool. Un caractère et des arômes qui se développent bien, à recommander !
Smooth, bit hoppy. Not as flavorful as other triple's. Good but not great.
Opalescent golden colour, minimal dense white head; aroma of cider apple, grape peel, wine cellary-moldy, grainy and earthy notes; taste is similar to the aroma with some hoppy bitterness and quite intensive alcohol; drinkable, but clearly not among the best tripels
33 CL bottle served in trappist glass. Poured hazy amber with two finger off white head. Aroma: caramel, vanilla, sugar, orange peel, ginger. Taste: caramel, orange, citrus, vanilla, coriander, black pepper, ginger. Medium body with bittersweet finish. Ok...
Volvhle tripe
33cl fliptop vintage January 2021 - it's a tripel folks. Nothing distinguishing. Solid. A tad sweet
In the aroma of pear, lemonade duchess, lollipops. Straw in color, cloudy with good, persistent, white head. On the palate, pear esters are felt even more strongly, with a warming aftertaste. Medium body, moderate carbonation.
Really nice round beer. Very clean. Top notch tripel, superb bubblegum-like yeast contribution. Phenols are spot on. albert heijn amsterdam
Slightly scentful, neutral taste
Zu diesem Bier bin ich auch über eine Restl-Verschenk-Aktion meiner Stammkneipe gekommen, da es im lockdown abgelaufen war.
Dass es nicht mehr ganz taufrisch war, zwigte sich durch extra viel halten Bodensatz und einem leicht muffigen Beigeschmack.
Das klassische Bier in seiner frischen Form ist gut malzig und hat dazu schöne Aromen nach Bisquit und Pfefferkuchen. Dazu hefige Noten und einige Weihnachtsgewürze.
Kann man durchaus empfehlen.
Beautiful deep golden color with lasting dense head, lively carbonation. Aroma: malts, pilsener like, some citrus and soap notes. Taste: crisp, citrus, spicy, reminds of duvel. Very long and well balanced bitter development with orange and marzipan notes. Finish is dry, citrus.
Légère en goût, très agréable à l’apéro. Une des triples les plus sympas que j’ai goûtée.

Clear golden coloured. Malty, candied sugar, light fruity, perhaps some wood, light fruity. Well balanced. Decent enough.

Pours hazy blonde with lots of debris and with a disappearing white head. Sweet malty apples on the nose. Thick sirupy mouthfeel, with a bitterness and spicyness that counteracts the sweetness. Also some apple, peach fruitiness. Good but somehow not great.
Oke maar beetje saai, zoetig biertje. Sterk in alcohol maar niet in smaak. Niet slecht maar 13 in een dozijn.

2019...Dunkles Bier, flacher schaum, im Geruch malzig würzig, der Geschmack ebenso dazu etwas fruchtig dörrfrüchte, hat man schon schlimmere getrunken
0,33l Flasche mit MBlessing. Jahrgang 2019. trüb und gelb, fester Schaum. Marzipan und Citrus Duft. Intensiv und recht fruchtig. Hefeantrunk. Persipan, Citrus. Nicht all zu alkoholisch. Ein Hauch Vanille im Abgang. Ok.
Colore giallo oro; schiuma bianchissima, bassa e poco persistente.
In bocca arancia, poi sapore liquoroso.
Cerveza de estilo triple belga, demasiado alcoholica de sabor, pero cuerpo correcto y espuma densa
Manque d'un peu de rondeur, amèreter très présente
Great triple. Next to the taste, I love the 75cl bottle, their nice glasses and the historical legacy.
A really nice triple. Brewed once a month on a full moon. Mine was April 2019. Quite dry with a little sweetness but with plenty of flavour. Fairly boozy at 10% but that only comes later.
