3.1 Bottle from a bottle shop in Belgium, bought in 2011. First of all it had a large yeast sediment so it is a good idea to cool it for a couple of days and keep it standing. Sweet fruity taste and smell with allot of yeast aromas (lots of bits floating around). Might be better without all the yeast.
2.7 33 cl. bottle @ home. BBF 21/09/2014. Hazy orange, bubbles rising, quickly gone white head. Soapy, spices smell, slightly metallic, coriander, orange peel,… Taste is fizzy, metallic, soap, coriander, bitter floral, bitter herbs, more soap, odd off-flavours, copper, pennies, mouldy orange, aspirin, bitter plaster, bitter uneatable herbs,… Mmm, no, had some incredibly stuff from these guys / lady & some clunkers… Going to start buying the good ones regularly & ignoring the rest.
3.6 Bottle at POV, Brum. Bottle threatened to explode, but did not. Once poured, it looks flat. Aroma is unspecifically orange, like a plug in air freshened. Taste is orange, specs, some wheat, some paper, some delicious yeast. On one hand it’s a bit dull, but on the other hand it’s compelling and enjoyable. You decide.
3.1 Smak och doft av söta äpplen, blommer, honung, bivax, tvålig karaktär. Porlig beska.
3.8 330 ml bottle, from old tasting notes. Hazy pale golden with white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, citrus, spicy with clear yeast notes. Taste has the same notes. Fairly sweet with good bitterness.
2.7 5th February 2012 Hazy gold beer with some floaters. Good pale cream coloured head. Crispy palate. Seltzer minerals. A little spice. Mild citrus, very mild. Finishes semi dry. Bit of a fresh air beer!
3.5 pours hazy light but bright golden with a decent white head, some retention and lacing. wheat, light acidity, breadied malts, floral grassiness, lightly sprucey, spicy character - malts and hops. light barnyard notes. plenty of yeast. some floaters, even though i have been careful in transport and pouring. average carbonation, light to medium body - oily, good mouthfeel, nice herbal-citrusy and lightly acidic finish. good offering but nothing spectacular like their others.
3.8 bottle @ il pretesto. It pours golden with a great white head on top. Light body. Aroma is apple and sweet fruit with a good bitterness that balances everything. A very good beer.
3.5 330ml bottle from Ales By Mail Pours golden orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of spices, yeast, fruits and farmhouse notes. Taste is fruity with hints of spices, malts and some hints of saison like farmhouse notes. Finish is sweetish with spicy and fruity notes and mild grainy notes. Okay, quite well balanced Belgian blond ale.
3.6 A reddish yellow beer with a quite big and blond head. Aroma is very aromatic, mints, flowers, honey and fruits. Taste of mints, flowers, some fruits and drying spices. Medium bodied, quite lot of carbonation, easy to drink. The very flowery and aromatic belgian ale.
3.2 Bottle from Willems. Hazy yellow with a white head and floaties. Flavor is sweet, malty, citrus, spicy and yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 150812
2.5 Very hazy, somewhere between blonde and amber with a solid white head and limited visible carbonation, some minuscule floaters. The nose is rather soft, a mixture of orange, vanilla, fruity and hops. The taste starts out surprisingly strong, hoppy, non-sweet orange peel (though that’s not part of the ingredients). Mostly bitter but with some added complexity; a quite carbonated feel that is almost aggressive; overall quite spiced. The aftertaste hints of citrus fruit bitterness (e.g. grapfruit), some maltiness providing a bit more body, even a touch of alcoholic warmth. Overall not really my thing -probably the only Abbaye des Rocs brew where I’ll say that- but that’s mostly a personal thing. It’s too bitter and in spite of the strong attack has too little body to my liking
3.6 Color: dark blond beer with small heavy white head, no carbonation and yeast!!! Smell: malt with an explosion of yeast. Taste: malt, aftertaste: malt
4.0 33cl bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with steady bubbles and ample yeast! The head holds nicely throughout the drink. The nose has crystallised orange and lemon peel with sweet but delicate spice, almost like a sweet white pepper sensation. It’s CARDOMON! The taste has more tangy orange notes with cake mixture and spice to follow. The palate has a medium to full body, with an excellent thick, creamy but in a lot of ways, elegant texture, then the finish, drops off not to fast, to give excellent length. Overall, I think this is excellent, with so much going on for what is probably in Belgian terms a very lightly alcoholed beer.
3.4 33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Brussels. Rated on 20.07.2010 Aroma is perfume-like with some toffee and spices. Flavour is sweetish with toffee, some spices, caramel and hints of dark fruits. Somehow I expected more.
3.2 2*330 ml bottles bought in a mixpack and shared at tasting. Pours hazy reddish brown with a frothy and creamy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet, spicy and perfume-like with yeasty esters, tangerines, orange peal, cloves, black pepper, celery and hints of dough. Taste is sweet and spicy with yeasty esters, cookie dough, overripe fruits, cloves, white pepper, allspice, blood oranges and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is round and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter with orange juice, allspice, coriander and black pepper.
3.4 (Bottle) Pours cloudy deep orange gold with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity, yeasty, light spicy, vanilla-ish bit perfumey and doughy bready alongside a touch of hops. The flavour light sweet and tiny bitter with notes of bread, fruits, mild spices and a touch of hops. The mouthfeel is soft, round and light watery with a light carbonation. Subtle finish. Light to medium bodied.
3.3 Bottle 33 cl, GIL. Pours hazy amber with a huge off white head leaving some lace. Aroma is spicy yeasty a bit sourish fruity slight tones of strawberry. Flavor is dryish pungent and malty, more bitterness and fruity perfume in rhe middle with bitterness which lasts til the end with some yeast and perfume.
3.2 Sampled at Larsniclas testing. Pours hazy copper with a huge white. Smells parfume, fruity hoppy. Tastes fruity, abit smooth bitter and abit parfume.

3.9 33 cl bottle @ Brussels. Rated on 20100720. Pours hazy amber color with medium head. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Aroma of caramel, toffee, ripe fruits and spices. Flavor of yeast, spices, ripe fruits, caramel malts and toffee.
2.7 33 cl bottle via brekeriet (thanks to Nisse666!), sampled on April 14, 2012 BB 03/12/2013 Cloudy with huge chunks of big proteins and a fair bit of yeast. Mainly golden color, big nice fluffy lasting white head. Slight bit acidic, a bit sweet and spicy scent. Alcohol, solvents, a bit fruity, some sugar, sweet taste. Some grainy aftertaste. Sort of thin mouthfeel, fairly low bitterness. Bisquits in the taste.
3.5 Doft av söta äpplen. Lät tvålig smak åt dux-tvål, söta äpplen, honung med drag av bivax. Ganska torr, väldigt grumlig och mycket jästsmaker som är lite småunkna.
4.0 33cl bottle. Light amber/orange with a medium white head. Nose : Orange and lemon lemonade like. Little hay and lightly caramelized malts. Sip : Creamy and oily, easy to drink. It has a little sweet beginning but it’s really brief. It develops a refreshing bitter taste and lasts. hay malts are well maried with hops. I’m really enjoying it. Extra points for a refreshing taste that goes well with this warm spring weather. I guess the taste changes, I drink different beer the winter and different at the summertime.
3.3 Bottle...It pours cloudy orange with a large white head... The aroma is fruity, yeast and wheat.....the flavor is fruity, yeast, wheat and some spices.....
3.6 In bottle. Pours a golden brown colour with a decent beige head. Aroma of lemon, caramel, barley and yeast. Similar flavours with mildcarbonation and a foamy mouth-feel.
3.5 bottle at home ... thanks to the Dynamic Duo ... light hazy amber ... soft lemon juicy fruits .... easy ... light yeast
3.0 Orange blond beer, nice white head. Impossible to keep all the yeast in the bottle, so flocks of it are floating around the beer. Nose is fruity, orange and yeasty. Taste is fresh, fruity, but also bitter, dry, tart. It starts good, but then soon gets out of taste, leaving my mouth dry.
3.3 Bottle from SB cons 2012-02-25 Göteborg Ar: wee yeasty, some caramel sweetnees, when poured - strong earth tones Ap: reddish copper colored body, wee frothy white steady head F: fruity - grapes, lychee, grapefruit, butter caramel, dry, very odd flavor combinations... Is it bad or good?
