A bottle from l’Apero, drunk at home. Aroma: sour and vegetal, not unpleasant. Appearance: hazy, gold, minimal white lacing. Palate: full body, yet thin texture. Soft carbonation, a long and delicious finish. Taste: well-balanced, herbal and candy - it’s good.
L’abbaye des Rocs nous fait une fois de plus part sur cet opus blond de toute sa maîtrise brassicole pour une bière soyeuse, beurrée et sur des tonalités aromatiques quelque peu atypique pour une triple, mais très agréable . En verre, notre blonde tire de façon certaine sur l’ambrée avec des teintes cuivrées (EBC aux environs de 32). Attention au dépôt important en fond de bouteille si vous souhaitez avoir une clarté nette. L’effervescence n’est pas des plus poussée, avec des bulles d’un diamètre moyen donnant naissance à une mousse blanc cassée, d’abord abondante se stabilisant rapidement à 3 minimètres d’épaisseur. Le nez, d’une belle prestance, présente des notes de liqueur de café, de far au pruneau et de malts. L’attaque est superbe, soyeuse et complexe sur une alliance houblon, caramel et fruits blancs. Sur la deuxième bouche, le côté beurré apparaît sur une très belle texture. L’amertume y est modérée mais l’arrière bouche sur le caramel et le malt apporte une bon équilibre et une corpulence appréciable. La complexité gustative s’accroît en troisième bouche sur des notes boisées, de café, de miel et une base légèrement liquoreuse. Le final, d’une excellente longueur présentera de belles variations sur ce thème de base. Les 7,5% Abv sont extraordinairement bien utilisés et travaillés, d’autant plus pour une triple qui joue sur la densité avec un sucre marqué ; ce type d ebière demandant habituellement un alcool fort pour éviter un écroulement gustatif et que la bière ne devienne écœurante. Donc louons cette abbaye qui n’en est pas une et ces moines laïcs qui font des quasi miracles.
330ml bottle from Olé Supermarket, Shanghai. Pours hazy golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast, hazelnuts and Belgian yeast. Taste of spice, and caramel. Sweet finish. Unusual but nice.
33cl botlle bought online. 7,5% alc/vol. Pours a hazy deep gold colour with one finger of hesad that reduces into a film. Pieces of yeast are floating around. Fairly complex aroma with notes of bananas, prunes, Belgian yeast, and caramel. A bit disappointing taste after the complex smell. Taste matches the aroma but the weird moldy wood barrel-like after taste ruins it. High carbonation. Let’s hope the "Bruin" will taste better.

Nice blond beer, with a fuzzy white head. Extremly fuzzy beer, nice taste and aroma of roasted malt and some notes of hops.
Bottle from Beer Cartel 121016. There is a big hit of alcohol in this beer that hits you. Lots of raisin and currant flavours with a strong body and creamy mouthfeel. Sits in the mouth with a strong aftertaste.
Appearance- amber, a large thick white head, big lumps of sediment flop out of the glass. Aroma- boozy, rich fruit, malty bread, orange, marmalade, fruitcake, honey-glazed nuts. Taste- lots of malt, white bread, some cardboard, bitter fruits, nuttiness towards the end, juicy and fizzy mouthfeel, fruity spicy hop undertones.

Pullossa lukee Blonde, mutta Ratebeerin mukaan kyse samasta tuotteesta kuin La Nounnette. Samean kullankeltainen olut niukalla, pienen pitsireunuksen jättävällä vaahdolla. Lasissa leijailee todella runsaasti hiivapartikkeleita. Tuoksu todella monimuotoinen ja houkutteleva, makean omenainen ja kukkaisen maltainen. Maku omenainen, makeahko, kiva humalan puraisu. Raikas olut keskitäyteläisellä suutuntumalla. Jättää makean maltaisen jälkimaun. Kuitenkin aika hiilihappoinen ja kuiva loppujen lopuksi. Laatutuote jälleen Abbaye des Rocsilta, josta on vaivihkaa tullut oma lempipanimo.
Hazy, amber-golden colored, medium white frothy head. Aroma is of brewing sugar, bit caramel, fruity, grape, bit spice and yeast, some alcohol. Taste is medium+ sweet brewing sugar and caramel, fruits, grape, medium spicey aroma, coriander, some yeast, light+ spicy bitterness, dryish finish, bit alcohol. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, oily.

Nez complexe, épicé, goût caramel, biscuité et beaucoup de dépôt dont on ne sait que faire. Une bière agréable.
Pullo @ Saveur-Biere. Kaatuu tulppaaniin syvän kultaisena ja sameana, noin kahden sormen paksuisella vaahdolla, joka jättää vahvan reunuksen. Olut syöksähti melko vauhdilla ulos, siksi hiivatkin sekoittuivat mukaan. Tuoksu on hyvin yrttinen, se on todella hyökkäävää ja mentholisen raikas. Belgihiiva tuo pippurista mausteisuuttakin mukaan ja tuoksusta löytyy myös puhdasta hiivaisuutta. Maussa on yrttisyyttä, sitruksisuutta, mausteista hiivaisuutta ja hiven ruohoakin, kaikkia melko tasapuolisesti. Suutuntuma on melko täyteläinen, mutta hiivan myötä myös erittäin raskas ja karkea. Voisi olla hyvä tripel mikäli hiivoja ei olisi sekoittunut joukkoon. Niiden kanssa hyvin yrttinen ja mausteisen hiivainen tapaus.

Une blonde bien ambrée/cuivrée, légèrement trouble et plein de particules suspendues.
Au nez ce que j’attendais : alcool, caramel, sucre d’orge, noisette, pâtisseries donc quelque chose de bien biscuité, de gourmant, et de relativement épais pour une triple.Quelque chose de vineux aussi, proche du raisin et de ses produits liquoreux : Monbazillac, Sauternes, les vins blancs doux...
Bouche assez épaisse et crémeuse, corps alcoolisé, biscuits, douceur et complexité satisfaisante.De bons arômes aussi de fruits à coque : noisette surtout.
Dans le genre ? Excellent !
Clear amber, effervescent, some yeast particles, generous long lasting foamy white head. Bready aromas, spices, some honey, a little citrus. The bready malt carries through in the flavour, along with a lot of herbal hop notes, floral honey, pear. Light bitterness and almost lemon sourness in the finish. Light bodied, good carbonation. Solid effort but probably won’t linger long in the memory.

Slightly hazy peach orange, good-sized creamy white head.
Good intensity aroma to it - grainy malts, white sugar syrup, ripe pear, and peach, and banana esters, touch of white pepper phenolic spice.
Reasonably rich sort of body, chewy, creamy carbonation.
Bready malt on the body, touch crusty, sweet sugar syrup, ripe pears and stonefruits and browned banana, with a hint of clove/cinnamon sort of spice. Moderately low bitterness to finish, touch of drying booze.
Pretty good, maybe not on par with the other stuff from this brewery.
La mousse épaisse et persistante de cette bière blonde se fend pour laisser glisser un breuvage rond en bouche mais sans goût particulier ni aucun épice. La triple fermentation donne une boisson qui cache assez bien son taux d’alcool (7,5%) et on la descente facilement. Pourquoi pas avec une banane?

From cervezasespeciales. In La Trappe chalice. Watching Sons of Anarchy 2x01. Withouth the typical belgian sweetness and more like the brew of an amateur spanish micro. Small disgusting bitterness
Surprisingly clear golden pour with big white head. Aroma is yeasty, a bit funky even, fruity, oranges, lychee, yes, even gooseberries. Taste is spicy yeasts, oranges and lychee, sweetish, but not too sweet, dough. Smooth finish, slightly warming and boozy. Awesome balance and easy to drink. Pleasant fine-bubbled carbonation. A very good Belgian Blonde!
Bottle at the excellent Providence restaurant Birch. Orange pour small head but tons of chunky sediment. Now is fruity and yeasty. Tastes of oranges, yeast, light pepper, and candy. Fine palate slight bitter balances the fruit. Ok
Cloudy amber body with a small off-white head of average life-time, ok lacing. Moderate aroma of pale malts, Belgian malt, faint generic fruits, and pear and cereal the back. Moderate flavour of sweet generic light fruits, Belgian yeast, sweet caramel and traces of candy. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, almost sirupy body, fairly lively carbonated. Boring, faint and too sweet.

Bottle from Belgian beer factory. Pours cloudy golden. Nose is sweet fruits, Belgian yeast, citrus, malts. Taste is citrus, yeast, bready malts, light spices, sweetish. Decent blonde.

Líquido turvo com sedimentação aparente,coloração âmbar alaranjado,espuma com média formação e baixa manutenção;aroma é o seu ponto forte,frutado,condimentado,com malte em segundo plano;no sabor a uma inversão com o dulçor do malte(um pouco excessivo ao meu ver) se sobressaindo ao frutado,leve picante aparece no final,"drinkability"razoável.
Blonde foncée trouble, haute mousse blanche qui s’accroche. Nez complexe sur le malt, la levure, les fruits confits, un petit quelque chose de 4 quarts. L’attaque est très agréable : fraiche et fruitée, avec un texture ample et soyeuse. belle rondeur, finale sur les malts et le miel. La carbo est parfaite. Très agréable et facile à boire.

Une belle robe blonde aux reflets dorés. Nez puissant et complexe sur des notes de fruits mûrs, d’agrumes confits, de mat, d’épices douces, et de levure, pointe de houblon.
