4.2 Bottle 33 cl from Belgiuminabox marrone, velato, schiuma beige fine non molto persistente.
2.6 Oct 2020. Small slim dark bottle, unfiltered, from Beers of Europe. No head and a little bit funky and a little bit bitter. The malt is there, but no sweetness. Clearly something wrong, but still drinkable. Just not that great. [2.6]
3.9 Large foamy tan head stayed on a murky brown body. Huge aroma of malts, dried fruits & chocolate. Medium bodied, tingly on the front with a smoother back & clean aft. Chocolate, dried fruits, sweet jam & malt tastes with tangy lightly hopped finish. Very tasty.
2.6 Mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med flödande skum. Kakig, brödig doft parad med torkade druvor. Eldig munkänsla. Medelstor maltkropp med lite russin i smaken.
3.3 15/20 lacks the punch of some of the mega trappist beers but plenty of fruits and doesn't taste that boozy - more like an *% beer - very drinkable
3.9 Hazy brown ale with a modest head. Rich smell of red fruits, raisins, dark chocolate and caramel. Coffee as well. Roasted notes. The taste is similar, but with some metallic and citrus flavor as well. Medium body, thinner than expected from its smell. Dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Rich and complex. Rather a quadruple than a triple though.
4.1 Aroma maltós, a panses, prunes... Gust acaramelat sense ser empalagosa. 10 abv molt ben amagat.
3.8 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark pour with head gone quite quickly. Rich malt, quite sweet, hints of strawberry and vanilla. Good beer.

3.0 Hazy brown with a thin yellow-beige head that dilapidates quickly. Taste is malt, some spice and booze.
Textura casi oleosa. Carbonatación media baja. Buena cerveza. No tan rica en matices como esperaba.
3.5 Bottled, 330ml aged 3.5yrs from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, Gloucs. Dark chestnut with cream head. There is big plummy, damson, boozy flavours to this from the start backed by caramel, toffee flavours. Big on the palate, roasty, malty, alcohol, apricot. Perhaps a touch over the top, but well worth doing.
3.5 Dark brown pour, gusher. Malty, sweet tones of dried fruit. Decent dark ale!
3.9 Fles 33cl thuis gedeeld. Fruitig, caramel, suikers, donker fruit, zuurtje, zoetig, redelijk boozy, krachtig. Redelijk complex. (23-1-2020).
4.0 Flaska.
3.7 Brown with no head. Sour smell of a lambic beer. Roasted taste with coffee and chocolate and a sweet fruitiness at the end of the sip. Low carbonation.
2.9 Bottle, backlog. [#3.104 Global - #122 Belgium - #1 Abbaye des Rocs (my Belgian Brewery #61)]. Dark amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma is caramel malts, dried fruits and soft toffee. Taste is the same, leading to a medium sweet caramel finish. Next one please!
3.8 A lot of really good things, superb mouthfeel and slight sweetness. Like a great belgian amber, biere de garde like. But a bit boozier. It only has a slightly lingering oxidized aftertaste, great beer all around. Online belgian bier factory
2.3 Couleur rouges trouble.
3.7 Bottle from BIAB. It pours deep mahogany brown with foamy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oily, deep jammy berry character, cherry, bramble, blackcurrant, fruit cake, saltiness, gummy bears, wine gums and fruit pie crust. The taste is dry, toasty, roasted malt, oily, cherry wine, cherry drops, jammy, fruit compote, blackcurrant compote, Dr Pepper, Eccles cake, wine gums, touch of umami, warming booze and toothy vibes. Fulsome body and moderate to high, foamy carbonation. A fruity beast of a beer. Good depth of flavour to it. Fun stuff.
4.2 330ml bottle from belgiuminabox.com. Pours copper brown with a small beige head. Very nice aromas of vanilla, caramel, candi sugar, dark fruit, alcohol. Taste is caramel, dark malts, marzipan, bread and yeast. Carbonation and body is medium. One of the very best belgian ales.
Superbe.
3.5 Zeer fijn krachtig van smaak, zeer fijne gisting, mooi kleur, verfrissend geur, alle smaken komen zeer goed over één
4.4 I have a 11.2 oz bottle of Triple Imperiale delivered to me by Belgiuminabox. Most appreciated, don’t know how I would sample many of these beers otherwise. Tonight the brew is going into my Straffe Hendrik large snifter. The body is a dense caramel finished by a healthy array of fine, light tan bubbles. The scent is a delight, dates, alfalfa and baked bread. And the taste, only better. I get caramel, wheat toast, semisweet chocolate, black raisins, strawberry jam, where do I stop? Creamy and thick. Very Pannepot-like. I’m enjoying this.
3.8 Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is sweet brown malt with spicy yeast, caramel, further spicy notes, dark bread, dried fruits, raisins, dates, some brown sugar, some more fruits show up in the finish. Flavour is sweet with a mild bitterness. Body is above medium. Complex and wholesome, mostly dried fruits and caramel malts with spicy yeast. Solid Belgian Strong Dark Ale.
3.7 330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, reddish mahogany colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty fruity, minimally leafy, and sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, hints of toffee, caramel, red berries, some dried fruit, raisin, plum. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty and yeasty fruity, hints of nougat, toffee, caramel, dried fruit, raisin, plum, hints of red berries and cherry as well. Widely well hidden alcohol, a warming touch not until the finish. Relatively light body, surprisingly drinkable, not too sugary. Good.
4.0 Bottle. Pours murky brown. Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, chocolate. Full bodied, smooth.
