Brewer description : A triple fermented golden premium beer, brewed from a unique process using two different yeasts and an old regional secret. This “Bière de Garde” is refermented in bottle and has rich, copious and persistent foam. With it slightly cloudy aspect, Vivat Triple is of a great aromatic complexity. It delivers very good hope bitterness at the finish. It has been rewarded in 2008, by the most prestigious award for food and drinks’ quality in France: Golden medal at the “Concours agricole de Paris”.

3.4 330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, snow white head. Fruity, minimally alcoholic aroma, notes of apricot, peach mirabelle, apple. Taste is malty fruity, dry hoppy overtones, a spicy yeasty touch, some warming alcohol in the finish.
3.5 75cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a generous and persistent white head. Malts, light banana and Belgian yeast in the aroma. Taste is light but balanced with a dry finish. Overall, a nice beer.
3.1 Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy amber, nose is lemon, sugary, taste is fruity, sweet.
3.0 Aromat dość słaby, słodowy, drożdżowy, lekka brzoskwinia, lekko alkoholowy. Piana obfita, grube pęcherze, u szczytu drobna, nie opada. Kolor złoty, lekkie zmętnienie. W smaku odzwierciedlenie aromatu, wszystko delikatne, brzoskwinie pomieszane z alkoholem, drożdżowo, lekko kwaśne. Bardzo przeciętne.
3.2 Golden body, very clean. Sweet malts, cereal, hay, but straightforward stuff. Too filtered for sure. Don’t get the alcohol. But also doesn’t justify it because the body is okay but not very rich in taste. Sweet apple like aftertaste. It’s okay. (33cl bottle from Christmas gift pack at Auchan)
3.3 Bona cervesa, es equilibrada i gustosa. Buena cerveza, es equilibrada y sabrosa.
2.8 Bottle from Carrefour and drunk at home. Hazy amber lasting beige head. Little bit of vegetable, but mostly quite drinkable malts. Little bit of hop. It’s not much of a tripel to be honest and I got a little bit of vegetal flavour that put me off.
3.7 Yellow with rich white cap. Sweet aroma, sweet taste with some bitterness and sourness. Yeasty fruit notes.
2.5 Hazy honey with big dense creamy white head, good lacing. Looks good. Through head I sense ripe fruits, yeast, bit flower and herbs. Crisp and fruity in mouth, very belgy, medium body, soft feel, long fruity finish, sweet, apples, bit banana, ripe fruits.
3.3 Couleur jaune, forte mousse blanche.
3.8 Aroma: citrus, bread, cereal,... Appearance: amber, hazy,. Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, umami,. Palate: medium body, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish,. Overall: density, strong structure, round body, complex aromas showing citrics, honey, vibrant cereals... A beer to enjoy slowly, appreciating the power and quality of this triple. Really loved it!
3.4 50 cl corked and caged ceramic bottle. Clouded golden orange, off-white foam mostly fades. Aroma is yeasty fruity, orange citrus. Yeasty tropical fruity candy taste, mild malts and lightly spiced, some tartness. Average carbonation, medium bodied, lightly hopped. Finishes lightly bitter, abundant yeast sediment.
3.7 500 ml crock. Pours a slightly hazy amber with moderate head. Aroma of fruity esters, dough, and wet malts. Flavors of earthy yeast, stoned fruit, and toasted malts. Sweet.
3.6 Golden orange colour, medium white head, sweet honey fruity flowery smell, creamy flowery honey taste, medium carbonation and bitter a bit peppery
4.0 Best by 31DEC12 Cool bottle, great marketing. Pours a light apricot ale with a thick quilt of fine creamy foam. Smells of funky hay, a bit of grassy hops, some mint and pine, a sweet yeast and hint of coriander. A nice grainy, corny thick pilsner like triple ale. This is an atypical beer and I like it’ nice and earthy with good character. Medium on thick body with tight assertive carb and an off dry finish. Nice beer. Serving type: bottle 10-03-2012
3.0 Hazy yellow color, good white head, lots of lace. A bit tart-citrus fruity aroma, yeast. Medium-bodied. Fruity (apricot, watermelon) with tartish twist. Light alcohol and quick finish.
1.5 Looks great, and has a decent tart spicy alcoholic nose, but it ends there. Any flavor profile is overpowered by an intense metallic off flavor. I would avoid this one until they get a fresh shipment
3.5 33cl bottle in tulip. Iille France Appearance: copper/orange hazy liquid body. Rich cloud like head with plenty of lacing. Aroma: yeast, orange, alcohol, grains Taste: sweet and then bitterness. Not necessarily balanced. Palate: lively carbonation gives a very full mouthfeel. Somewhat oily finish. Overall: a pretty decent triple, but far too bitter for me. The finish isn’t necessarily a hoppy bitter, which makes It less appealing in my opinion. Not very balanced. Would have liked like bitter and more sweet. Still a good beer and worth a try. The appearance and aroma re really pretty nice. Pretty good for French beer.
3.4 Bottle. Hazy deep golden color with a thick foamy white head. Aroma of fresh yeast and wheat. Sweet and sour taste. -- via beerbasher/winphone
2.2 Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks troubles. Pours orange to yellow with a small head, aroma of honey, cardboard, toffee, caramel and alcohol, flavor of chicken soup, alcohol, grass, pretty sweet, medium bodied
3.4 Bottle. Golden colour with a nice white head with good duration. Aroma has notes of citrus, yeast, sweet. Flavor is sweet, with notes of citrus, orenage, yeast, marzipam. The final is mild alcoholic witha good duration and an aftertaste moderate bittery.
2.2 Post-tasting bottle sample at Beer & Beyond. Thanks troubles. Cloudy orange, alcoholic and honey in the nose, very sweet and alcoholic in the mouth. Flat, full body, sweet finish. Quite nasty.
4.5 Bottle from La Grand Epicerie. Good malty trippel. Aromas of caramel, honey, and grain. Taste is sweet, with light sourness, long length. Palate is creamy. Orange, with a frothy head.
