3.5 Pours a golden color with soft white head. Earthy hop aroma. Light bodied with an earthy hop character. Notes: bottle from Cosentinos, Feb ‘18
3.2 Pours clear dark golden with white head. Aromas of caramel malt and citrus. Lightly toasted malt flavor with some bitter grapefruit rind. Medium body with average carbonation.
3.5 12oz bottle on 20th Jan 2018; my last beer of my Californian Odyssey (Dec 17-Jan 18). Drank out of a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass at my daughters. Hazy orange body, off-white affair on top. Citrus leanings in both the hoppy nose and taste. Tropical fruits abound throughout the flavours and the beer finishes with a semi-bitter fruity bite.
3.4 Hazy orange, small white head. Citrus, grassy aroma. Medium light body with light carbonation. Flavor is mildly bitter, herbal, citrus. Crisp finish. Good, straightforward.
3.2 12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange, huge and slight off white head. Aroma is peach and dense grapefruity hops. Mellow, peach and mild pine hoppy. Herbal, dry snd solid hoppy finish. Dry snd bitter, slight oine and fruity.
Carbonnation moyenne.
3.5 bottle - Hazy orange pour, smells mainly of citrusy hops. The flavor is appropriately big on the hops bitterness with citrus and tropical fruit notes and a caramel malt background. Medium bodied. Good.
3.4 Bottle. BBE Dec 2017; Drank Oct 2017 - Lightly hazed orangey gold in colour. Good creamy off-white head. Very fruity; citrus and tropical fruits, grapefruit, orange, rind, peach. Very hoppy; heavy hop bitterness, piney resinous hops. Malty; grainy malts, caramel. Bitter citrus fruity and resinous hoppy throughout. Dry and more bitter into finish. Not bad. (2017-10)
2.9 Murky golden, big white head. Sweet metallic aroma. Surprisingly sweet, malty and honey like taste. Some bitter and grassy notes attempts to ballance the overwhelming and uncharacteristically nauseating sweetness. Does not really succeed.
3.5 Dégustée à l'hiver 2015-2016 (De mes notes). .
3.5 Despite it’s name, there isn’t any metallic taste to this beer, but there is a lot of chewy hops and refreshing backbone.
2.9 Bottle pour. Hazy dark orange with a off white soapy white head. Aroma is over ripe fruits and pine. Full body. Salty taste.
3.3 Pours amber and slightly hazy with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma is sweet and tangy. Aggressive bitter hops that attack the palate right off the bat but then light up to release some smooth citrus but not enough to completely quell the bitter character.
3.4 Bottle. Hazy dark amber pour with offwhite head. Aroma has fresh citrus on quite a malty base. Taste is semi sweet with significant bitter notes. Heavy body. Medium carbonation
3.2 12 oz. bottle pours a hazy orange with moderate white head that lingers. Aroma has pine resin, overripe tropical fruits, bready malts, and dank hops. Taste is bitter with an odd flavor in the finish. Body is medium with average carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel. I was expecting another boring brew from Abita, but the unusual flavor makes this a memorable IPA, but not a very good one.
3.6 12oz bottle at FMG. Pours slightly hazy orange with a frothy off white head. Lots of hops and citrus on the nose. Flavors are dominated by hops with some resin and sweet caramel notes. Medium carbonation, long, bitter finish. Solid IPA.
3.6 Hazy medium amber under a two finger white head that leaves patchy lace. Nose is pine and tropical fruit with a light caramel backing. Light sweet with a medium+ bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation. Nice west coast IPA. 8/3+/7/3+/15-
2.9 (Keg at Pikkulintu, 20170525) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, caramel and bread. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, caramel, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Was it the age of the keg or is this beer really sweet and bready?
3.6 Lovely kinda classic west coast / american IPA. Plenty of piney, syropy bitterness. Also a sweet nose of exotic fruit, peach, nectarine from the mosaic hops and others. Could have a few.
3.7 Tap @ Konttori. Pours slightly hazy orange, small white head. Sweet, tropical ripe fruits, resin in the aroma. Bitter, fruity, resin flavor.
3.7 Tap @ Konttori. Pours clear orange color with a large head. Aroma is hoppy and resinous, piney, some tropical fruits and gooseberry bush. Flavor is resinous and quite bitter, slightly sweet with mango and apricot, some malts. Good, harsh bitter. 4524
3.5 Floral hops, pine, overripe tropical fruits, resin. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. More pine and resin, overripe fruits, melon, nectarine, medium carbonation, medium bodied. Quite a bit of resin and pine. Bottle at CBR17, Shoreditch.
3.3 bottled - great hop and citrus aroma. Clear to cloudy golden color. Decent hop flavor - just ok.
3.5 12 oz bottle pours amber with a white head. Aroma of citrus, floral and earthy. Taste is grapefruit and caramel
3.6 12 ounce bottle available at Total Wines Pembroke Pines, FL for $2.99 Very good.
3.4 12 oz bottle pours gold with white head aroma is resin and floral taste is pine and citrus.
3.7 On tap at Doherty’s. Medium golden color. Frothy white head to a medium lace. Starts off subtle but finish is packed with lots of grapefruit bitterness. Surprisingly good!
3.1 Clear gold. Full body, flavorful, assertive mouthfeel, short length. Bitter but not too dry Hoppy, resiny, gentle malty background. Average beer.
3.6 A murky yellow color with a white head. Aroma contains some lemons, pine, perfume, and biscuit. The flavor is moderately hoppy with some malt present. Some lemons, grapefruit, and oranges and just a hint of caramel at the end. Overall this is a nice IPA.
