2.5Nothing to get excited about. Easy enough to drink.
3.1Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers. Aroma of grain, malt, banana, slightly spicy and citrus. The aroma is better than the taste which is a little bland. Slightly watery with medium carbonation.
2.918/6/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain, stewed fruits, caramel, hint of banana and yeast. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Okay.
2.7Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 15/06/21.
Clear light golden with a modest white covering.
Nose is pale malts, grains, cereals, apple skins, dusty fruit esters.
Taste comprises sweet malts, more appley notes, residual sugars, cereals, light bread.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so affair.
3.0Bottle: Poured a golden with white head. Aroma is malty, light cardboard, sweet. Taste is sweet, malty, bready, biscuit.
3.2Bottle picked up in booths darker than average malts and light fruit dominate
3.4Nose is lightly malt, straw, hop. Taste is malt, cracker, honey, leading to a gently floral hop finish. Jolly.
3.4Bottle from House of Trembling Madness York and drunk at home. clear deep gold colour lasting white head. Fresh bready aroma. Some fuller malt in the mouth. Some bitterness on the finish. Some white pepper on the finish. Decent light marzen I thought. fine. happy to drink this. pleasurable
3.30.5l bottle. As Spezialbier Edel. Pours clear golden with a big white head. Sweetish malts, hops too. Dryish bitterness with hops. Nice. Crisp sweetish lager.
2.6Bottled 500ml (Alko web)
"ABK Spezialbier Edel". Clear golden colour, small white head. Grassy, grainy, cardboardish aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish malts, metal, grassy hops, quite bitter aftertaste. Decent, a bit into Supermarket class.
3.1500ml bottle, from Booths, Carnforth, served fridge cold in straight pint glass. Pale gold coloured, with a white head which collapsed quickly. Malty damp cardboard aroma. Malty slightly hoppy flavour, with a hint of alcohol. Slightly bitter after taste. Pleasent enough, didn't drink like a 5.8% beer, very typical German lager, good, but not outstanding,
2.6Feb 2021. Small dark bottle, filtered, from Beer52. Fat and malty pale lager. Few hops. Quite drinkable and tasty. I like a beer which is not shy to expose the character of the malt, even if its a lager. [2.6]
3.5Refreshing and crisp, with a bit of bite. Pours a clear deep straw colour, with a bubbly white head, and a sweet malt aroma, with some grassy hops and a hint of fruit. There’s a bite to the mouthfeel to kick things off, which is significantly carbonated, but mellows out, yielding a crisp, sweet malt and floral hop flavour and a lasting dry, bitter finish
2.9Looks like lager, smells like Chinese chicken and sweetcorn soup, a little malt and hops with grassy notes. Good for lager.
2.8Bottle from Beer52. BBE Oct 2021; Drank Dec 2020 - Clear yellowy gold. Medium white head. Grainy malts, straw. Moderately hoppy, grassy, herbal notes. Citrus fruity, lemon. Spicy, lightly peppery. Fairly dry. Sweet grainy and straw malty grassy hoppy lemon citrus spicy. Rather boring, but drinkable. OK. (2020-12)
3.3330ml (5.8%) at home on 29 Dec 2020, present from Lauren McK on 12 Dec 2020 (bb 1 Oct 2021): pale malty, oaty aroma, straw, protein haze, negligible lacing, grain, malty flavour, marginal sourness, grainy texture, moderate to generous fizz, dry finish.
3.6Smooth, sweet ,silky on the palate, and very tasty
Great beer
3.4Nice pilsner but nothing out of the ordinary. Lovely citrus taste.
3.3Lovely clear pour, almost citrus in smell but more malty in taste.
2.3Pours a pale straw with a very transient white head. Aroma of barley sugar sweets. Sweet malts at first in the mouth, but bitterness comes later. Some citrus in the finish and indications of alcoholic strnegth. A bit of a nothing beer really.
3.2Golden with a light head that soon fades. Aroma of crisp malts. Flavour crisp, clean Pils with a malty aftertaste.
Bog standard Pils- not bad but not lighting the world on fire
2.5Pours a golden colour with nice head smells. Touch malty
A nice clear taste followed by malty pine aftertaste
2.6[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A hazy amber pour with a thin white head; grainy aroma; sour fruity taste with a caramel malt body; and some citrus to finish. Quite unpleasant.
3.5From Beer52 had at Polin Croft Nov 2020. 330ml bottle. Thought it was a very nice larger.
3.1Bottled, 330ml from Beer52, Edinburgh. Gold with white head. This proved to be a malt lead beer, biscuity, lightly earthy in character with a vague leafy, citrusy hopped note. Reasonably crisp on the palate, no off notes. It's okay.
3.3Beer 52. Typical German malty. Lite. Only ok
3.033cl bottle from Beer52.
Thin white head. Clear golden pour. A bit malty. Ok
3.1Fine, if rather one dimensional, biscuity and cereal grains, a light malty flavour and a little sweetness. Pours crystal clear, gold, minimal head.
3.1Clear straw colour with a thin white head, malt cereal aroma, meduim body, malt ,cereal gains light sweetness
