3.7 --Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear golden, mid sized head. Floral, grassy nose. Mid sweet with light body and soft mouthfeel. Bready and floral, some honey. Mid bitter finish. Soft and pleasant.
3.4 Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines Sheffield. Clear orange gold. Fine white head. Nose has malt and caramel. Mulch. Taste is pretty sweet, with low, grassy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Not overly crisp. Moderate carbonation. Minimal bitterness to finish. Overall this feels sweet and a bit flabby.

3.3 Aroma: malta ,cereal, Apariencia: color ámbar y claro, espuma blanca y corona pequeña Taste: malta, pequeñas notas frutales al final, Sensación: cuerpo medio, poco amarga, refrescante, carbonatación regular.
3.0 I think this is the same beer! The bottle I have has a different label, and is labelled as HELL 700. Bought at the Co op, Brodick on Arran. This is good, nicely balanced beer. Not the best German Helles I've had, but it's going down well during this heatwave!
3.2 600ml glass bottle from Co-op Food, Cricklewood Lane for £2.50. Dates as best before 05/2022. Served fridge cold into a stein. The beer I bought wasn’t labelled as ‘Das Blue’ anywhere on the label (which was actually red and black in colour), but was the ABK Helles at 5.0% so I’m pretty sure I’d this one branded differently. The beer pours a light golden amber with a small white tight head, nice lacing on its way down. Heavy carbonation in the glass, even for the style. A light aroma of bread, biscuit, lemon. The same in the mouth as in the nose. Low bitter, medium-low sweet. Nicely balanced if not world class. A very short lived bittersweet aftertaste. A more restrained level of carbonation then the visuals suggested. A very solid, very drinkable lager. Refreshing in the hot weather.
3.2 Appearance: clearest gold with a decent white frothy head. Aroma: pure German malt, additional fruity hints Taste: light sweet, crisp and clean, malty. Fruity touches. Hop. The pleasant bitterness grows up towards the aftertaste. The former is good. Mouth feel: light to medium body, appropriate carbonation. Bottom line: good helles
2.9 Bottle at home pale gold medium carbonation medium white cap light and clean
3.2 Keg tap at the West End Brewery, Leicester. Light yellow/gold with a small white head and visible carbonation. Light aroma with sweet malt and tones of vanilla. Balanced taste, sweet but not too much so. Soft carbonation. Not a bad beer, but lacking in any forward personality.
3.3 Clear and crisp pale gold with a creamy white head and a mellow biscuity aroma with some fruit notes. Mildly carbonated, with a smooth almost creamy mouthfeel, and a bitter edge with some floral character coming through
3.4 Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours crystal clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet with pleasant doughy biscuits, nips of straw, bread crust. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Tidy finish, mild sweetness, ample biscuity malts and simple bread. A nice easy-drinker.
3.5 Very decent German pale lager.
3.1 Bottled 500ml (Alko web) Clear golden colour, small white head. Light veggie hops and grain in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Grain, herbal hops, cardboard in the flavour. Clean, standard Hell.
2.5 500 ml bottle. Pours a clear deep golden colour with white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste has weak spices, cloves, and a little bit of a grassy note.
3.3 Smell of malt, some starch. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of malt. Very light body. Lightly bitter. Medium carbon.
2.7 "ABK Hell - Das Blaue", Flasche aus Tausch mit Pivnizub - Dank an Günther. - Goldgelb, blank. (28.1.2021.)
3.9 0.5 l bottle from K-Citymarket Ruoholahti, Helsinki. Golden, clear, nice head. Taste of malts is stronger than usually for Helles. Almost like a Czech lager. Crisp ending. This was wonderful.
3.1 33cl bottle from Beer Hawk .Thin white head. Clear golden pour. Easy drinking.
3.4 Very nice and not so creamy. Good looks and fine head in a very interesting bottle.
2.9 Bottle. Hazy pale gold, white head. Grassy, light malt, mild hops, honey notes, corn.
2.5 Dorada, con un dedo de espuma de baja retención. De cuerpo ligero y baja carbonatación. Aroma a cereales.
3.7 Bottle from The Curious Hop, Otley. Pours a clear deep golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, straw, grass and hints of bread and honey. Taste is fresh, clean, malty with a slight grassy hop on the finish. Medium bodied, fairly smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. it’s a nice simple fresh good quality lager.
3.0 Relatively shallow in terms of depth of flavour, but smooth and refreshing
3.5 An enjoyable fluffy hells common in Germany and made in the standard way. Enjoyable with potatoes and a nice piece of pork joint.
3.6 Bottle from Beer52 and keg at The Balerno Inn. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of grass and lettuce. Flavour of cereal, pear and a bitter finish. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Clean and crisp.
