2.1 Bottle/Fest. A- Trash, toilet water. A- Clear color, clear liquid, no head. T- White wine, grapes. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, effervescent finish. O- Really bad aroma, but the rest of it was tolerable at least. Not impressed with this even slightly.
3.4 Clear light golden hue with a thin bubbly white head. Brisk apple juicy fleshy aroma with a gentle sugary kiss. Brisk fuzzy semisweet flavor with a pleasant apple juicy flavor that’s a little fleshy and champagne like. Nice.
2.9 From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow. No lasting head. Aroma is sweet apples. Zesty, juicy and slught citric. Dry and zesty finish.
3.3 Bakgaarden Både & 051116. Golden-yellow color with no head. Aroma is apple, yeast. Flavor is apple, yeast, fruit. Easy drinkable cider.
3.4 Pours into the glass a clear yellow-golden hue, with lots of fizzy carbonation that doesn’t lead to a lasting head, nor retention of lace of which to speak. The nose is definitively of Granny Smith apples, some Golden Delicious intermingled as well. Flavors are of semi-ripened aforementioned apples, sour and acidic with a light Red Delicious apple sweetness that doesn’t make the offering cloying, all the while keeping it in check as "semi-sweet". It has a medium body and juicy mouthfeel, with a semi-zesty palate, attributed to the active carbonation at work. It falls on the drier side, Champagne-like, of the "semi-sweet" character, but as Champagne aged in stainless steel, rather than oak barrels. The pull is nice and makes for a wonderful aperitif. As for a hard cider, this is actually very vinous and true to description. Quite decent.
3.6 Good strong dry cider, with a champagne like bite to it. Easy to drink, but nothing about it to set it apart from the next strong pale cider....
4.0 Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The cider is a clear golden yellow with tons of carbonated bubbles. Has a smooth flavor with a dry finish.
4.5 I love this cider, but it’s not for everyone’s taste. Extremely dry and tart with not much aroma. But I’m always looking for the driest, lowest carb/sugar ciders that I can find. So I can still enjoy alcohol while living a lower carb-gluten free lifestyle. Cider styles vary incredibly, so just depends what you like.
2.8 Faint yellow without a head light carbonation. Aromas tart apple candy and slightly earthy. Flavors light tart apple cider and slightly woody. Lightly sour and medium sweet. Not to bad just very one-dimensional and can get boring after a while.
2.6 Like the description, this is a very champagne-like cider. Aroma has floral, lemon, and hints of spice. Light yellow with minimal head. Thin bodied, tart finish.
3.5 Sample at Omaha Beer Fest, Stinson Park. 6-11-16. Bottle. Pours clear. Aroma was apples and sweet candy. Taste was sweet, apple, candy, dry.
2.0 Pours a clear pale yellow. Faint aroma of grass and apples. Dry, tart, and fizzy. Similar to cheap sparkling white wine, but with tart green apple finish.
3.3 One of my favorite Ace’s, and not because of the higher percentage (though that helps!). The aftertaste is the win for me: you don’t taste the added alcohol level and instead it’s a nice crisp, champagne like drying effect.
3.7 While I had anticipated a somewhat boring and plain cider, I was pleasantly surprised. Not so bubbly, slightly dry, but leaves a pleasant taste on the tongue of fresh apples that leaves you wanting more. I’m happy I decided to take this one off the shelf.
3.2 Draft at the Growler House, served in a flight. Pours a clear bright pale yellow with no head. Surprisingly tart apple, of a green variety, with lemon-lime, faint florals, and sugars. Gets sweeter as it warms. Light-medium bodied, with low carbonation and a sour, tangy, sweet mouthfeel. Interesting cider.
2.9 Sample at Tony’s Darts Away. Pale yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of apples and mild spice. Light to medium body with flavors of apples, herbs and citrus. The finish is dry with a mild apple aftertaste. Average overall.
1.8 This was rated by 6 Cannery Row Beer Club members. This was not one of our favorites.
3.1 Citrus and vinegar aroma and start. Finishes a little sweet for a dry champagne middle
2.3 Look: pours aight straw almost white. Very clear. White head. Smell: Apple. Vinegar. Champagne. Taste: Apple. Sweet champagne. Little bit of sweet vinegar. Feel: medium high carbonation. Very dry. Overall: ok cider. Sweet is quickly overcome by the dryness. First drank: home 2/10/15 Vintage:
2.2 Smells like musty dry apple. Clear body. Juicy crisp apple flavor. Crisp on the palate.
2.9 Subtle tart apple aromas. Pale straw. Dry, somewhat tart. Light bodied, crisp, sensation of higher alcohol.
5.0 Loved this cider. It is a pear hard cider with a soft champagne palate with a fruity aroma. It fits with the current trend of dry ciders that remind one of dry eclectic white wine/champagne.
2.6 "A little overrated me thinks on this here site. Nothin wrong with it, but nothing stands out either. It would be straight up average but for the slightly too bubbly feel and an abv you can taste a touch more than I’d prefer."
2.5 Bottle at home. Pours a very play yellow almost clear. Thin dissipating white head. Aroma is green apples and some alcohol. Flavor is slight apple and somewhat tart. Very dry. Very thin bodied. Decent cider.
1.9 12oz bottle. Clear fizzy juice. Smells of feet. Tastes like SweeTart candies. Who buys this? (4172)
2.2 This was poured into a wine glass. The appearance was a golden yellow to orange color with a decent transparency about it allowing a light carbonation to be seen rising throughout. The smell had a deep dry apple vinous and spritz inessential pummeling my nose. The taste was mainly the same thing with a slight sweetness trying to come in. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was harsh and dry. Overall, maybe okay for those that like this sort of thing, thanks for the tick as I probably wouldn’t come back to this.
2.9 12oz bottle, thanks to Shawn. Kind of pale, clear golden color. Minimal off-white bubbly head. Medium body. Kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Clean apple juice aroma. Kind of yellow / light bit of green apple type flavor. Lightly tart, moderate sweet. Decent cider. Reasonably easy-drinking. Not too sweet -- 6.9% is hidden well. Not much to it, but pretty solid.
3.0 Just a little sweetness but has a weird mouth feel. Pours goldyellow with a tiny head from tap. Easy to finish
2.8 Bottle: Clear pale green straw color. No head or lace. Funky aromas. Almost reductive. Simple and neutral but fresh. Maybe mouldy. Very dry and acid. Almost phenolic. Low carbonation. Very tart. Interesting texture but lacking complexity and depth of flavor. Good length.
2.8 Bottle. Pale yellow pour with no head and lots of carbonation bubbles. Slightly tart apple. Kind of bland overall.
