Adnams Jack Brand Innovation IPA

Adnams Jack Brand Innovation IPA

The hops in Innovation are the stars of the show. We used Boadicea, Columbus and Styrian Goldings to create punchy grapefruit flavours and aromas of tropical fruits. These are backed up by wheat and pale ale malted barley which add spicy, biscuit flavours and a slight touch of sweetness. The outcome is a wonderfully moreish IPA, packed full of flavour. Silver Medal Winner - The Stockholm Beer Festival 2013. (Contains barley & wheat).

3.6 Bottle. Hoppy aroma and taste, citrus fruit, light resin and grassy notes. Medium body, hoppy fruity bitter finish. Ok.
4.2 Biscuity flavour with sharp bites. Very nice!!
3.3 Citrusy, well balanced, but lacks something special
3.5 Adnams innovation A punchy grapefruit flavour with aromas of tropical fruit make this a Moreish summer ale
2.8 Aroma : Toasted sweet caramel, hoppy melon & grapefruit citrus, touch of pine. Taste : As aroma. Dry citric bitterness throughout, with a light sweet undertone, but also with a slightly rough alcohol edge. Not as good as their "Ghostship"
3.5 Hazy gold colour with medium white head. Strong malt aroma with notes of tropical fruit. Medium bitter taste with biscuit malt, bread, caramel, tropical fruit hop flavours.
3.2 330ml bottle share in 2016. Clear mid golden with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, heather and brown sugar. Moderate malty sweet flavour. Mild resinous finish.
4.6 Typical British IPA, not so fruity but with a full body. Nice together with beef.
3.0 Tap @ Charlies. Clear yellow w a small white head. Aroma medium malty (caramel) and hoppy (grassy, floral, fruity). Flavor light sweet, medium bitter, light spicy. Medium body, quite flat.
3.2 Aroma Tropical fruit, caramel. The taste of malt, carmel and tropical fruit from hops. Aftertaste citrus hops bitterness
2.6 Bottle. Hazy golden, big head. Fruity, caramel, old hops, phenolic. Sweet, fruity, old hops, marmalade, peach, pear, honey flavors. Medium bodied.
2.7 Bottle, thanks zvsn, small bubbly head, hazy darkish orange color, pear and honey, sweetish with some bitterness. A bit old and not too exciting.
3.8 Clear golden beer, standard carbonation, nice stable white head. At nose it has floral notes and caramel ones in a good balance. In palate it has a light body, the flavor doesn’t have that much from the malt. The hops are quite strong as expected for an IPA, the aftertaste is stable and bitter.
3.2 Nice pour but the taste is dissapointing.. Good amount of fruits, but it lacks some bitterness though
3.4 Bottle. Clear golden with white head. The aroma has notes of spices, herbs, earthy, caramel, some citrus melon. The flavor is mild sweet and mild bitter with notes of caramel, citrusy hops, herbs, earthy, some spiciness and cookies. Medium-bodied.
3.1 Murky copper, a finger of white head, nice lacing. Aroma of fragrant malts with notes of tropical fruity. Tastes medium bitter, quite malty, bready, caramel, tropical fruit hoppy notes and citrus, some yeasty funk. Light bodied ale, easy to drink, light carbonation, nothing to remember.
3.1 Süffiger, etwas dumpfer Hopfenbeginn. Milde Süße, etwas herb, frisch grasig, dunkel getreidig. Süffig, mittellanger Nachhall. Gut trinkbar. 9/8/9/9//9
3.2 Gold amber. Aroma: malts, tropical fruits, kiwi, chick peas. Taste: easy and fruity, not a big hop bomb, velvet-y mouth feel. Citrus in finish. Easy IPA.
3.0 Bottle from ocado gold thin head some dry hop and honey sweetness quite gluey consistently.
3.5 Kolor bursztynowy z delikatnym zamgleniem. Piana biała, średnio wysoka o średnim czasie redukcji. Aromat tworzą słodkie owoce i karmel.
3.1 Bottle - Pours a clear, deep yellow with a nice head. Aromas of pine with some citrus. Good mouthfeel, tastes of citrus, but small finish.
3.7 the aroma is hoppy and fruity with hints of grapefruit, pine, orange, kumquat, tangerine and some spices... the taste is fruity and hoppy with notes of sweet and bitter orange, grapefruit, pine needles, pepper and spicy grasses... bitter, sweet and dry aftertaste...

3.5 Bottle from local supermarket, pours beuatiful clear deep-orange/gold, with a small white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, fruity, light trpoical fruits, bit grassy. Taste medium bitter, moderate sweet/frutis, not very citric; dry bitter aftertaste. It's a quite nice and easy/accessible IPA.
3.1 citrus, tropical, light sweet / bitter, flowers, pineapple, peppery, pine, malty
3.4 Bottle at home. Clear dark golden, light amber with white head. Sweet malts, caramel, fudge, grapefruit, custard. Moderate sweet and mild dry grassy bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
3.4 Small, lightly yellowish head, reasonably stable over low-carbonated clear orange-golden beer. Peppery, bit pharmaceutical aroma. Malts, partly caramelized, cakebottom and faint exotic fruit aromas - also bit catty. Bitterish-fruity, with pineapple, kumquat, orange peel, orange marmalade, bitterish passion fruit. Again some cake, biscuit, but almost no sweetness. Peppery piquancy. Medium bodied, not very carbonated, quite slick to oily feel. OK; seems to be a compromise between UK and USA interpretations of "IPA". 6/4/7/3/14
