Adnams Jack Brand Mosaic Pale Ale

Adnams Jack Brand Mosaic Pale Ale

A fruity one hop wonder.

Brewed with Pale Ale malt, some Lager malt and a touch of light Cara. This single hop beer is made with Mosaic hops at each of the four stages of the brew process. This imparts bold hop characteristics, including peach, mango, lemon and pine flavours and aromas.

Mosaic Pale ale goes brilliantly with lightly spiced dishes such as lamb tagine, thai fish cakes or scallops and chorizo.

Design and Packaging Supreme Champion and Best New Individual design awards at 2014 International Beer Challenge.

3.4 Pours hazy gold, thin white head. Aroma is mango, and a little pineapple, this carries through to the flavour, with a subtle bitter finish. Not hugely flavoursome perhaps, but a good session beer with a nice balance.
2.6 A little hazy and no head. A slight mango aroma. Tastes a little flat, but has some interesting bitterness. Not too bad for a session beer.
3.5 69p can from home bargains. Drank chilled...very refreshing fruity mango pineapple taste, slightly dry aftertaste. Very nice.

2.4 Low carb, not hoppy as it should but still quiet bitter. Medium body, way too much dyacetil, finish is not really nice. I would have put less if it wasn't for the mosaic... Mmmm next one!
3.2 Cask. Tap Room, Swan Hotel, Southwold. Dark golden, hoppy tasty, kept at the right temperature. A decent pint.
2.7 Feb 2019. Can, filtered, on a BA flight to Marseille. Cheeky little pale ale with grapefruit fresh citric hops. Clean and lively, but no character. Decent enough drink, if a little too much like a fruit cocktail rather than a beer.
