Adnams Spindrift

Adnams Spindrift

The beer is made from a blend of East Anglian malted barley, Boadicea and First Gold hops and high grade malted wheat which is then filtered to allow the aromas and flavours within the beer to remain. Spindrift is top-fermented and it should be served chilled with a thick, continental-style head. (Contains barley & wheat).

2.9 Bottle, 5.0%. OK caramelly and sweetish aroma. Clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is caramelly with a mild hop bite. Has a little bread in the finish, but not too bad.
1.3 has that yeasty malty doughnut smell, golden body with no head as im drinking from the bottle. tastes like water with yeast. worst beer ive had in ages, congratulations adnams.
3.3 Frankly it just doesn’t make any sense. Hop is just too extreme and sherberty for the body of the beer. Adnams yeasty apple aroma, but the rest is terrible. Mind you according to Jonathan Adnams, it wasn’t made for me anyway. As he says in The Publican, “But this beer is for people who have made the decision not to drink cask beer.
3.1 golden craft beer, full of flavour with a crisp refreshing citrus taste, wonderful orange peel aromas and crowned with a full white head from the wheat added to the brew. Brewed from a blend of East Anglian malted barley, Boadicea hops and wheat. Chilled and filtered to retain all the freshness, flavour and aromas of unpasteurised beer.
3.5 Golden body and small head. Equal aroma, with golden biscuit malts, cracker like, soft modern but modest carbonation. Okay de enable, certainly bitter enough, but a bit underwhelming overall. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

3.7 Bottle from a shop in Eastbourne shared with McTapps. Well, this one was a real surprise. After all those boring bitters and other tryouts this really hit me when it comes up to aorma. Flowers mixed up with vanilla, some sweets, belgian yeast and a small part of hops. Balanced carbo, mild ending. Quality brew with it special moments within. Thumbs up.
10,8,7,6,10,7 - 7,45

2.3 Bottle in some pub in Norfolk. Shit pub, people standing in front of the telly when United are on. Didn’t enjoy the drink either. Best I can say it’s pretty easy to throw down when you’re in a mood. Just too watery and bland for my liking.
1.8 This English lager made in an American style is described perfectly as emulating the ocean beach as it is flat and salty tasting. Don’t expect much from this beer except a nice label and a nice though of good American lagers!
3.0 Botella de 33 cl, adquirida en tienda XXXII. Color dorado. Sabor a lupulo, suave y muy ligeramente amarga.

2.9 330ml bottle. Sweetish malt and fairly zesty, lemon hops. First impression good but not a session beer to me as it the citrus quality was sliughtly overpowering.
