3.9 Black with small white head. Marsipan, raisins prunes. Coffee and chocolate.
4.1 Flaska 33 cl.
4.0 33cl fles. Helder donker bruin van kleur, fijne romige creme schuimkraag. De geur is whisky en chocolade. Smaak is zoet, whisky, vanille en karamel. Medium body, veel koolzuur.
3.7 Aroma of chocolate, coffee, caramel, dried fruits, vanilla, leather and wood. Black with almost no head. Medium to hevy sweet and medium + bitter. Full body with average carbonation. Dry and slightly bitter finish. Overall a nice Imperial Porter. Rich and warming.
4.2 Bottle shared at work. Black pour, off-white head. It's full of sweet notes of vanilla, booze, malts and chocolate, rounded by a woody touch, some earthy and roasted notes. Long lasting, sweet finish, medium to heavy body and soft carbonation. Yummy.
3.4 Draught at Stoneworks, Peterborough, Cambs. Black with beige head. Lots of alcohol burn for me, liquorice, boozy bitterness notes to the fore. Cough medicine, deeply roasted malts. Really heavy on the palate. I struggled a little with this but it's fine.
4.4 Tap @Stoneworks, Peterborough. Black, tan head. Nose - bourbon, chocolate, vanilla perhaps. Taste - as nose plus marzipan.
3.8 Tried at the Stoneworks Peterborough. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma malty and chocolate. Taft’s sweet to bitter aroma and taste. Full smooth body.
4.1 Bottle @ Home, cellared 2012 vintage. Pours a black liquid with almost no head. Aroma is sweet, nicely vinous and lightly roasted with bourbon barrel, vanilla, milk chocolate, raisins, dark sugar, dates, pears and some higher warming alcohols. Taste is similarly sweet with good duration, big mouth feel and a smooth bourbon/vanilla taste up front. Also notes of dates, raisins, molasses, chocolate, red apples, oak. Finishes quite dry with lingering oak, licorice and milk chocolate.
3.7 2017 bottle. Just a hint of oxidation. Well roasted, burnt malt, coffee and grain flavors. Lightly sweet and warming alcohol. Good palate.
Pełnia wysoka do średniej. Nasycenie niskie w kierunku do średniego.
4.1 Bottle, backlog. Pours pitch black with a fluffy brown head. Notes of booze, vanilla, oak, roasted malts, light tar, dark fruits.
3.9 Appearance: Very dark brown, near black. Small, dark tan head. Aroma: Dark malt, roasted, some prunes. Taste: Dark malt, roasted, some dark fruits, good barrel. Warming. Bought: Vinmonopolet (online), 330 ml, NOK 89.90 Info: 5/10-2018, BB: 30/6-2027

3.8 Shared with Wim at his home. Brown colored beer with no head and no carbonation. Malty roasted fruited mucca aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish malty coffee fruited roasted alcoholic. Very nice one.
4.0 0,3 litre Bottle from Vinmonopolet Stryn. Almost Black with offwhite head. Malts, hops, Chocolate, bourbon, oak. Nice.
4.3 0,33l bottle. Pours black with light tan head. Aroma of roast, vanilla, caramel, coffee, hint of licorice. Taste has definitely got that tennessee whisky influence, along with coffee, chocolate, roasty. Medium to full mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Feels like the Terminator 2 to the original Natt porter.
4.0 Bottle (500 ml) at home. From hackobock, thanks! Dark brown with a small thick beige-brown head, decent retention, leaving some lacing. Aroma is vanilla forward with roasted malt, coffee, spicy notes and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet but not overly so for the style with a similar flavor profile that the aroma suggest along with moderate alcohol heat. Full body. Moderate carbonation. Thick syrupy mouthfeel. Dark chocolate finish. A very good barrel-aged Porter with good balance and nice flavor intensity.
4.2 Piana całkiem obfita, barwa ciemno brązowa, klarowna. W aromacie orzechy laskowe, drewno, karmel, melasa... W smaku słodkie, marcepanowe, likierowe, w tle toffi, migdały, whisky... Goryczka nieduża, tytoniowa, niskie wysycenie, lekko oleiste i rozgrzewające w odbiorze. Generalnie bardziej American Strong Ale niż Imperial Porter z fajnie zaznaczoną, nieoczywistą (bez wanilii) beczką po whiskey...
4.0 Well balanced in flavours, with licorice, vanilla, roast and coffee. Subtle oak and bourbon. Quite complex. Very good!
4.5 LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Heerlijke BA imp porter. Mooie smaken van gebrande mout, hout, vanille, zacht bitter, beetje boozy. Topper!
4.1 Bottle. Color: Almost black, thin beige head. Taste: Under medium sweet roasted malt, notes of chocolate, decent bitterness. The Jack Daniels is coming in after a short time. Notes of vanilla. Syrupy, under average carbonation. Over medium body. Lightly boozy. Well balanced, nice, not overwhelming, barrel aging and some complexity. Smooth finish. Good imperial porter to enjoy slow sipping on a quiet evening.
3.8 Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Barrel present but not for the good. Long heavy bitter finish.
4.0 Aroma kaffe, lakris, humle, vanilje. Utseende sort med beige skum. Smak lakris, røsted malt, humle, vanilje, Flaske kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Jekta, 3 cl 10%

4.0 How: Bottle. Where: Systembolaget. Appearance: Very dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma: Caramel, chocolate, roasted malt, whiskey, alcohol, some vanilla. Body: Full body, low carbonation. Flavour: Caramel, some spices, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, whiskey, alcohol.
4.1 Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Clear, very dark red to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and some vanilla. Very sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of milk chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla and coffee, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!
