English: Mellow and balanced, dark red beer with a character of nuts, chocolate and toffee. The taste comes from six different kinds of malt, and the beer is surprisingly easy to drink. Goes well with barbeque and cheeses.

3.3 Can. It pours hazy amber with a creamy light beige head. The aroma is malty and bready. The flavor is faint hoppy with bready notes and dark malts. Light toffee and nuts.
3.5 God velsmagende amber ale. Fyldig øl med god aroma. Savner lidt mere bitterhed og friskhed.
3.0 Smak av både svisker og brune farger. 'God øl' men ikke så mye mer å hente 6/10 180123
3.2 Can. Pours clear full amber with profuse, airy and atable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of caramel and touches of hops and fruit. Sweetish, estery and fruity flavour, with notes of malt and mild hoppy and acidic touches. Dusty, estery aftertaste with light fruity touches. Okay but the body could be richer.
3.4 Can from Beer52. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma caramel malty slight citrus. Taste light earth bittersweet. Medium body.
3.4 Can from Beer52. Odd, heather sort of herbal aroma. Quite complex with good body, and a nice malty blend. Quite good, but its certainly not smooth.
4.0 A very good Red Ale, similar to the Irish red style, but more tasty.
2.7 Clear dark orange beer, standar carbonation, small white head. At nose mainly caramel notes such as toffee and nuts, slightly sweet, with a slight bitter flavor at the end, with a non memorable aftertaste.
3.2 33cl Can @ Cervezalandia, Vall d’Uixo, Spain Amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, slightly fruity. Taste is malt, caramel, grain, hints of toffee and nuts. Light to medium body, average carbonation.
3.2 Reddish amber beer with a thin, off-white head. Aroma has a bit of toffee, light fruit and malt.Taste has a bit more bite to it. Toast, caramel, apples, nuts and a dry, bitter finish with the nuts really coming through. Not too shabby.
3.4 Can, in a ’free’ Beer 52 trial box of Norwegian specialities. I’ve been fairly underwhelmed by what I’ve had from this brewery in the past. This one was pleasant if not entirely what I expected. Quite a sweet and malty affair, almost like a northern English brown with a slightly ’redder’ malt bill, toasty and caramelly rather than malt loaf, and an earthy hop note. Slipped down nicely. Not the expected crafty American amber but nice to drink nonetheless!
3.3 Burk från Kiwi, Volda. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, röda bär med toner av nötter och smörkola. Fruktig, lagom sötma, rund och len, fin beska.
3.0 Light caramel, toffee and chocolate notes in this pleasant if uninspiring amber ale.
3.0 Keg @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. 29-05-2017. In short: average amber ale. Did i enjoy it: it was pretty boring. Average in all aspects, plain, straightforward, some dull and boring. Pours little hazy amber with nice off white head. Moderate head retention, poor lacing. Malty and caramel nose and palate.
2.5 Espuma efímera, poco cuerpo. Amielada en boca. Bastante plana. Totalmente prescindible. BB 21/02/2018
2.5 Dark red, white foam. Anonymous aroma, rather dull. medium body. Nothing special, but might go down nicely on a summer day bbq.
3.1 33cl wide-mouth can from Beer52.com. A deep amber colour with a billowing cream head; fruity aroma; earthy caramel taste; and a dry nutty toffee finish. Rather thin and lacking bitterness.

3.1 Lata, @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo 21/04/2017. BBD: 21/02/18. Color ambarino, aromas a maltas caramelo intensos, ligeros ahumados, sabor a cereal, cuerpo ligero.
3.2 Can. Cloudy amber color. Aroma: malt, caramel, slightly yeasty and dough. Taste: light sourness of yeast, caramel, gingerbread.
3.5 Can, pours dark amber with light haze and orange tints, small head. Aroma is malty, caramel and toffee, full malty backbone with citrus hops coming through in the finish. Medium bodied, creamy texture, finish is balanced. Carbonation is soft to flat.
3.3 Pours a dark chestnut brown. A subtle orange and peach flavour with a caramel undertone from the malt. Not enough hops for my liking though but it is refreshing.
3.7 330ml can from Spar, Beitostolen. Pours a hazy chestnut brown, small beige head. Aroma is caramel malt with hints of cocoa. Smooth caramelised malts on the palate with some nutty chocolate notes. Lightly bitter. Very nice.
2.9 At the brewpub in Flåm. Aroma is nuts, malt. Appearance is light cloudy brown with a light brown-ish. Taste is bitter and light sour. Watery, soft to medium carbonation. Very thin. Ok.
3.7 Can from Cogo, drunk 8/5/16. Small, off-white head tops a peachy-orange, not dark amber, body with light carbonation, high clarity and moderate retention. This one seems to be a lighter shade of amber ale, and follows in both aroma and flavor of being less overly malty. Still plentiful caramel malt (no heavy iced tea and low on the crystal malt ’hardness’. Ample thought is given to the base malt and thus it turns out quite comforting on the palate, with plentiful fruity esters, light, peppery hops, good attenuation and exquisite cleanliness, as Aegir has been now through about 7 beers. The carbonation is soft, natural and engaging without being overly fizzy. Certainly on the maltier side, flavorwise, but it’s not too sweet. There is some rich cereal and caramel character lingering on the finish with is gently bittered to provide a good balance. Some breadiness builds up, lightly on the palate, with lots of fruitiness from the yeast. Nice stuff.
3.1 Bottle, pours hazy with unstble white head. Not intense caramel aroma. Light bitterness, caramel taste with a hint of roasted malts. Light body, caramelish finish.
3.1 Keg @ North Bar, Leeds. Clouded lighter brown coloured. Has a very drinkable texture with a light, sweetened hop-malt character.
3.8 Very nice amber. Pours darker than most ambers. Lovely malt flavors. The best Amber I've had in some time, but I'm partial towards Belgian style beers.
