3.2 33cl can from Pastures Discount Foods. Medium creamy white head. Very hazy amber pour. Nice bitterness. Pretty good
3.1 12-09-2018; can; at home (bought somewhere in Flåm, Norway). The looks of the beer are nice. On top of the beer there is a thick layer of frothy, soft foam, slightly orange tinted, with average foam retention. The beer itself is quite clear, but there is a slight cloudy touch. It has a golden yellow colour. It looks alright. The smell of the beer is alright. It is a true Session IPA. It has some of the IPA features, but it always is a bit more rough in my opinion. The malts are simple. Sweet, a bit grainy and bready. A bit rough. The hops are citrus infused. There is a nice lemon aroma. Also some zest and stone fruit, some pineapple and melon. It is quite fruity, but still a bit more rough than a regular IPA. But, for a Session IPA it is quote nice. Quite aromatic. The taste of the beer is nice. Quite sweet, but a massive bitterness. Yet, it remains quite balanced. A bit on the bitter side though, but the acidity of the citrus seems to mellow that out. Not bad. The palate of he beer is average. Light body, a bit rough and very high carbonation. The finish isn't very long. It has some bready malts, and after that some nice citrus hops, to end with a dry bitterness. All in all, not a bad Session IPA.
3.8 Can at home in garden, 8th September 18. Pours a good Amber beer, nice head. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus notes, good flavour, grapefruit, citrus, clean and full of flavour. Good one, especially for the extreme low ABV
3.0 Blik @ Nes Pä Hedmarken. Moutig, beetje hoppig. Licht droog. Zie mijn ratings.
4.3 I really liked this beer. Full taste and really bitter. 4 Euros for a can is a lot, but the beer is good. I poured it into the glass. Funny opening, great color in the glass. If you like your IPA bitter, this is the way to go.
2.6 Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Golden. Malt, somewhat vegetal stale hops, a bit of dust, a bit of caramel, sweetish, bitter finish, a bit piney. Not so good.
3.4 Puszka 330ml. Miedziany kolor. Piana biała średnia, opada dość szybko. Owoce tropikalne, czerwone cytrusy, grejpfrutowe albedo, trawa, chmiele, lekka sosna, marmolada w podbudowie. Niezłe
2.7 330ml can from Co-op. Pours hazy golden amber with a white head. Aroma of pine and malt. Bitter taste. Thin finish.
3.3 Appearance- Clear deep gold colour with medium white foam. Aromas- Strong of fragrant orange peel, citruses and herbs, rather harsher, pungent and in your face. Palate- light/medium body with smooth texture and explosive carbonation leaving dry finish. Taste- Bitter of burned toast with strong orange peel marmalade on it. Rather harsh hoppy and citrusy notes. Overall- Interesting, not bad, fairly potent brew flavour wise.
2.6 Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. As "Ægir Littlebro Session IPA". Clear yellow-golden with white head. The aroma has notes of mold, urine, rotten citrus and honey. The flavor is mild sweet and bitter with notes of mold, honey, rotten citrus, old hops, leaves and grains. Medium-bodied.
2.9 Can (unusual opening solution). Still searching for a solid everyday beer from a convenience store. Malty, boiled veggies, caramel/fudges. Big no.
2.7 Can at a tasting. Clear orange golden with a huge bubbly head. Aroma of malt, cooked vegetables. Moderately sweet, malty, caramel, floral, vegetables, grassy, slightly moldy. Medium-bodied, a bit fizzy.
2.4 at a tasting, as "littleboro session ipa", smallish head, quite clear and a bit intense yellow color, musty oxidised aroma, musty slightly jammy flavor, ashy jint, slightly coarse bitterness. Not too great.
3.3 Dry grapefruit, aroma of hay and grass. Neatly balanced and dry. Good long hoppy aftertaste.
3.6 Can courtesy of Lynn and Barry whilst down their house for tea tonight. Thursday 17th May 2018 Pours amber with a slight haze and a white head. Good bitterness, fruity and a little dry. Like it. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
3.6 Can.Orange appearance with a medium head that quickly dissipated. Medium body with a slightly bitter finish. A straightforward beer that does what it says on the can-a session IPA. My first from this brewery.
2.7 Draught at the brewery. Pours a hazy medium amber, with a moderate off-white head. The aroma is, weirdly, dominated by caraway, with some pine hops and caramel malt in the background. Strong, almost medicinal caraway up front, light pine coming through. A little caramel malt in the mid-palate, more caraway to finish. Really weird. No idea where the caraway flavour was coming from, but it was quite jarring.
3.3 Can, from Co-op, Goxhill (as Littlebro Session IPA). Gold with a faint haze, thin but lasting white head and gentle condition. Good citrus and pine resin hop notes, tropical fruit and a hint of grain in the nose, quite dry in the mouth with a dominant hop resin bitterness, a little spiciness and some hints of yeast, finish has a lingering fruity hop bitterness and a hint of pineapple and citrus.
3.2 Can 330 ml from Coop, Parsons Green. Aromas of malts, tropical fruit, notes of caramel, grass and citrus. Amber body with slight haze and a white head. Taste is bitter malts with an interesting herbal or earthy touch to it that I can not place. There is fruitiness and some citrus but it's not as prominent as one would expect.
3.3 Can from Coop. Amber in colour, with a decently-sized, white, head. Marmalade and citrus hop aroma, with a herbal edge. Flavour had some more orange fruit, chewy malts and the finish was dryish. Good.
2.2 330ml can from Co-Op, Church Stretton. Pours hazy gold, white head. Aroma has some bitter hop, malt. Taste is a little dirty with some herbal elements, a touch metallic, old malt. Really doesn't taste great at all. Perhaps not at its freshest.
3.7 I have found this can at Amstein, St-Légier. I drank it tonight in my hotel room in Paris. Best before 05/18 lot 1648bro. It is a regular session ipa, a bit stronger than the others with the alcool. The body is copper, clear, regular carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste is well balanced, bitter, rather sweet for the style with a note of watermelon, at the final, malty, hop, a bit oily and a sensation that the taste is a bit heavy, not bad.
3.6 God session IPA. Fyldig og velsmagende. Dejlig frisk. Måtte godt være mere humlet.
3.8 pours hazy amber with small white head. Aroma of mango, pineapple, pinecones. Taste is citrus and hops. A little thin in both aroma and taste, but still pretty great.
3.7 Lukt: tørka frukt, barnål, honning Smak: tørka frukt, barnål Saftig maltsødme med en fruktig og humlete finish. Spiss bitterhet på ettersmaken. Solid session IPA 7,4/10 180114
3.2 33 cl can. Pours cloudy yellow. No head. Aroma is grassy, herbal. Grainy, herbal. Bitter. Toasted. Piney hops. Bitter and herbal finsh.
3.5 Clear golden, small white head. Piney, grapefruity aroma. Light mouthfeel. Piney, fruity flavour. A little passionfruit and pineapple. A little sweet but then quite dry with lasting bitterness.
3.3 Can. Pours hazy light amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt, with mild notes of hops and yeast. Bitter, grassy and hoppy flavour with estery and malty notes. Bitterish aftertaste with estery hints. Light and easy to drink. Not bad!
3.4 Can, 4.7%. Good flowery hop aroma. Cloudy golden colour. OK stable white head. Quite malty flavor, has a good mineraly note. Nice floral hoppiness. Clean and pleasant.
