3.3 Bottle a month past its BB date. Pours clear deep gold with thick off white head, mild piney citrus hop aroma. Still pretty zesty in spite of its space-time travel, a bit of caramel malt sneaking through under the bitterness. Hope to try it in Juneau some day!
1.8 6.2% alc/vol. it tastes like nature. I’ve never been keen on ipa and this tastes just like the rest.
2.8 Bottle/Fest. A- Pine, bitter. A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Pine, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Seemingly old school ipa. Lots of bitterness and caramel like malt.
3.5 16 oz of IPA goodness enjoyed right out of the can at Lynnwood Golf. Good day for beer. Good day for golfing. A total session feel to this IPA. It's light, really refreshing. Served Alaska cold is ideal. A slight grassy hop bite late, but it overall doesn't get much smoother. A bit watery, but in the heat, I'll take it. I can get on board with this brew.
2.5 Found in bottle in variety pack from Binnys in Springfield, Illinois. Very little hop aroma. Just a really heavy sitting more malt forward beer. Not very hopped. Maybe a better late fall IPA.
4.0 A
3.2 Süffiger, moderat hopfiger Beginn, weich. Knackige Bitterkeit, spritzig, feinherb, grasig, vollmundig. Wenig fruchtig, trocken werdend, kurzer Nachhall. Gelungen. 10/9/10/9/9/10
3.6 30/6/2018. Draft at The Local @ Las, Las Vegas airport by gate E11. Pours pale amber with a small white head leaving good lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus, pine, caramel and light tropical fruit. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Pretty good.
3.7 On tap at the Breeze Bar in Treasure Island, Las Vegas, served to plastic showing a clear, orange gold color, a presentable layer of soft white froth, with some wavy lacing. The nose was an expressive mixture of light pine, citrusy grapefruit, orange, and peel. Medium bodied, with lively carbonation, the taste was similar notes, adding a pronounced & lingering, citrus & rind bitterness that presented a decent hop bite, but remained pleasantly drinkable IPA faire.

3.6 From a 12 oz bottle into a stem glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of grains, light citrus, slight pine and ganja. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of grains, pale malt, grassy hops, minerals, grapefruit rind zest. Overall rich, flavorful, decent.
3.5 Bar 145, Austin Landing, draft. Slightly sweet aroma... honey. Honey colored, off-white head. Pretty smooth IPA, hops not in your face, medicine background. Hops on palate on aftertaste. It’s pretty good.
3.2 Tap at Treasure Island in Vegas with commonshawn and samalito. Pint glass. Golden and orange mixing together for the standard IPA coloring. Decent lacing. Nose is your typical hop forward effort with a heavy pine and citrus presence. Picking up a grapefruit element. Taste leans bitter with some mild sweetness in the middle. Citrus rind. Nothing unique to find here. Feels a little chilly and uninviting. Average.
3.4 330ml can served in a ordinary glass. Pours a slightly cloudy light orange color forming a medium and creamy white head with medium retention and some lingering lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is flowery and herby. Notes of sweet grains, resin and citrus zest. Slightly sweet upfront taste. Strong notes of sweet pale malts, citrus zest, resin and hop cones. Good average expected bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Grassy, herby and citrus finish. Good drinkability. Average IPA
3.5 Bottle. Clearish light orange-brown-amber body, thick puffy off-white head. Aroma of pine and citrus rind, bitter and spicy. Bready/toasty, sweet and soft body with pine, citrus peel, and peppery, herbal, tannic notes, finishing bitter.
3.6 12 oz bottle into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass on 5th Jan 2018 at my daughters in California. Orange/amber body, clear and clean; full off-white crown on top. Light hop nose and initial flavouring, the hops however creep up on you and the beer finishes in a semi-bitter, semi-piney hop bomb. Liked the way it sneaked the hops into the taste little by little.
3.6 Nice, crisp, tart IPA. Hazy golden with thick creamy head. Aroma of yellow grapefruit. Taste is citrus hops, and hops linger on the palate. This is a classic IPA , all about the hops.
3.3 12/19/17. 12oz bottle at my folks’ house. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Light citrus aroma, hint of dank. Okay flavor, light citrus and dank, caramel, pale malts. Eh.
3.3 Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber colour with a soapy off-white head. Very fruity aroma with orange peel, pine, grapefruit, grassy hops and subtle caramel. Lots of pine, grassy hops and grapefruit in the background. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium to heavy bitterness. Has a nice aroma and a pretty aggressive hoppy flavor. Maybe a bit one dimensional.
3.5 On tap by the pool at Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas on 9 October 2017. Clear dark amber colour with a head of foam that covered the top of the beer nicely and left a trail of lacing on the glass as it emptied. Citrus and pine aroma fills the nose and invites you in. Medium to full bodied in the mouth with a mild bitterness.
4.0 Aroma of light pine and citrus. The taste follows the aroma almost identical, not as hard hitting as other ipas out there but tasty still. Not overly bitter but still very enjoyable. Not the best IPA but still a good one to have if it's available.
3.3 From Mar 2007 This one pours from 12oz bottle(ice cold) a light gold with a small head of foam that shrinks quickly to a fine broken layer with some lacing. The smell is very hoppy. I note mostly grass and pine. The taste on first sip is also very hoppy. Lots of grass and pine that makes out for a very bitter start but that's followed by an abundant malt sweetness that balances out the hops very nicely. Further sips in and as the ale warms, the hops start to lean more towards a citrus character and I'm getting a lot of lemon zest and some grapefruit; also, the malt seems to be fading a bit resulting in, once again, a pretty sharp hop bite....now I'm getting a taste of hop oils. Interesting and, I like it. Hmmmm...this kind of reminds me of the Ballantine XXX Ale of the 70's iirc and *that's* debatable. ;^) Bottom line: I think this is a well made American IPA that deserves to be tried if you find it in your neck of the woods.
2.6 On tap at Beer NV. Light golden amber. Thin white head. Weird aromas and flavors. Like that smell you get walking through a brewery. Quite a rough mess. Very floral and bready. It was a chore to finish the glass.
3.0 Clear and orange in color. Light foam. Mild flavor reminiscent of Midwest IPAs.
3.3 Clear golden yellow beer with frothy big head on top leaving lacing behind as it dissolves rather quickly. Aroma has sweet fruits, grapefruit and some lemon, caramel malts to balance it out. Taste has sweet caramel malts, pines and grapefruit hops, some sweet fruits too and ends with light dry pine note. Medium body and a bit on the high side of carbonation.
3.6 Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild piney hops and a nice bready caramel malt back. Taste follows, with a moderate bitter bite. A good old school west coast IPA.
3.2 Can. Golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of grain, grapefruit, citrus, resin. orange, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Mostly citrus taste along with resin. Nothing to complain about and also nothing to say wow.
3.1 Juneau 6.2% ABV. Average IPA easy to drink. Not too high on hops. Which can either be what you're looking for or not what your looking for. Depends on taste and mood. Ian
3.4 After epic hiking day in Mt Whitney having burger and brew overlooking sequoias was nice although feet were throbbing. This beer was the choice. Amber. Tastes of pine and citrus. Straightforward. Bitterness medium same as body. Perhaps I was too exhausted to put real effort into rating this or perhaps it’s just so down the middle of an IPA. Either way here we are.
3.0 Yellow-orange, small white head. Light floral hop aroma. Medium-light body. Mildly bitter. Some malt and some floral/citrus hops, off dry finish. Straightforward, drinkable, not too memorable.
