3.6 Bottle courtesy of Alla.
3.3 Bottle from the convenience store a couple of units on from the Record Cafe, Bradford. Very dark with next to no head. Has a light dark-malt sweetness with a smooth tasting texture.
3.1 Bottle. Dark brown with beige head. Aroma malts, caramel, bread. Taste bread, caramel, coffee, little bit metallic and watery. OK
4.1 Bottle at home. Pours black with medium sized tan head. Aroma has sweet cocoa. Taste is malty with cocoa. Palate is subtle with lively carbonation. Quite nice.
3.3 Bottle at home. Cheekily asked a colleague to get me some Latvian beer when they were on a hen weekend and they did. Bitter, anteseptic aroma. Very dark, a slight hint of red. Beige head soon fades away. Heavy bodied, smooth start with a sharp bitter peak, which initially becomes sour in the finish. Some sweetness flitting around. Can feel the alcohol at the top of my throat. However the sweetness then becomes more apparent given more time. A decent beer but not keen on the finish - I’ll go with ’anteseptic’ again.
4.1 Black thin tan head wonderful port like quality to this sweet alcohol kick velvety texture winner winner chicken dinner.
3.8 (Bottle) Pours black with big tan head. Aroma is dark roast malt with hints of fruit and chocolate. Excellent mouthfeel - smooth creamy good carbonation. Taste is nice balance of sweet and bitter. Dark toffee with chocolate, port and burnt notes. A very nice sweet rich beer.
4.1 Bottle 0.5 l, EPI, Wrocław, Poland. Ciemnobrązowe piwo z beżową, obfitą, puszystą, gęstą, sztywną i trwałą pianą oraz lekko owocowym i wyraziście palonym aromatem. W smaku gęste, początkowo lekko słodkawe i owocowe, następnie mocno palone z wytrawnym, kawowym finiszem.
3.0 Bottle. Aroma: malts, caramel, a little bread, slightly toasted (but not burnt) malt, prunes, wine, sweet. Taste: sweet, caramel, roasted malt, prunes, wine, velvety.
3.1 BBE 22.04.2017. Mustanruskea, ok kahvicremavaahto. Suutuntuma makea, metallisen viileä, maltainen, tahmea, perusbalttiporter.
3.6 Bottle from Alko. Dark clear brown with strong beige head. Wine yeast, cereal, chocolate and some alcohol. Chocolate with medium porter toastyness, medium body and slightly watery palate. A long finish of ash and chocolate malt. Quite good.
2.9 Bottle. Slightly chocolaty aroma with alcohol. Sweet flavor with easter egg chocolate, dry coffee notes. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not bad.
3.5 Dark brown color with medium head. Aroma is roasted. Flavor is roasted, sweet. Pretty tasty!
4.1 Really really enjoyed this! Sweetish but not too much, loads of dark chocolate. Also quite Winey, almost Port Wine like; ripe dark cherries, roasted malts, a hint of alcohol. Great Baltic Porter!
3.7 Onpa maukas, sokkomaistiasena olisin laittanu stoutiksi. Tietty portermainen kuivuus ja helppo juotavuus löytyy.
3.7 Syvän tummanruskea, hieman punertava olut pienehköllä beigellä vaahdolla. Mielenkiintoinen ja monipuolinen tuoksu sisältää lakritsia, maltaisuutta, tummaa suklaata ja suolaisuutta. Maku varsin maltaisen makea ja siirappinen, kahvinen ja jälkimaultaan hieman suolaisen lakritsainen. Todella maistuva ja tasapainoinen kokonaisuus. Melko täyteläinen suutuntuma, lievä hiilihappoisuus.
3.4 W aromacie nuta owocowa, śliwkowa. Pod nim trochę karmelu i kawa. Pachnie wytrawnie. W smaku wytrawny. Znów pojawiają się śliwki. Zyskuje w miarę picia i ogrzewania. Alkohol dobrze ukryty, wychodzi w postaci lekkiego grzania w przełyku.
3.0 Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter av karamellmalt og kaffe. Kaffepreg i smak. Noe tam.
Fajny, koncernowy porter.
3.5 Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with notes of bread and roast. Bitter, roasty and metallic flavour with sweetish notes of caramel malt, barrel and yeast. Hints of coffee and vanilla. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with estery notes. Not bad. Quite decent, actually.
4.5 Poured from a 500 ML bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Savannah, GA. The appearance is a dark brown color with a giant tan colored head. The aroma was really great, it was full of chocolate and roasted malt. The taste matched the aroma with some coffee tossed in for good measure.
3.0 Kolor ciemnobrunatny.
4.1 Bottle from Alko. Nice and sweet porter with a rich taste. I like it a lot.
W zapachu wiśnia, czekolada, lekko metaliczny zapach. W smaku wytrawne, czekolada, kakao, goryczka średnia w kierunku niskiej.
4.1 Barwa niemalże czarna, rubinowe refleksy. Piana gęsta, beżowa, ładnie oblepia szkło. Aromat mało intensywny, czekolada, kawa i minimalny DMS, tj. gotowane warzywa. Bardzo gęste, niczym likier. W smaku dominuje gorzka czekolada, bombonierka, później kawa. Lekka metaliczność. Treściwe i przyjemne. Jeden z lepszych porterów bałtyckich.
3.4 Bottle. Clear dark brown/black with a red hue and a nice spongy two finger tanned head. Aroma: Sweet with some inky/rubbery roasted malts, cheap coffee and dark fruits like dried prunes. Taste: Sweet and rich with chocolate, caramel, coffee, licorice, some raisins and figs and an slight inky bitter finish. Medium to bigger body with soft round carbonation and oily thick texture. Pretty decent rich hearty porter. Maybe a tad too sweet and fatty. And I’m not too fond of the inky parts. Otherwise, ok.
3.2 Kolor: ciemnobrunatny, klarowny. Zapach: ciemne owoce, karmel, czekolada, opiekany, melanoidynowy, słodki, lekko chmielowy. Smak: średnia pełnia, dość lekkie, spora słodycz, ciemne owoce, karmel, trochę nut chmielowych, goryczka niska. Wysycenie: średnie, w kierunku wysokiego.
3.4 this company is trying to win people back with good beers, they are slowly doing just that. This is quite good. Not too much carbonation, quite sweet for porter. Worth trying.
3.6 Butelka. Aromat kawowy, palony, ciemnych słodów, karmel. W smaku lekka goryczka, palone. Charakter porterowy.
3.8 Draft, in Riga, very dark, brown heading Coffee and caramel notes, slightly bitter
