2.4 Clear golden beer with small vanishing head. Aroma is grain, hay and some citrus. Taste is light sweet malty, little hop bitterness. Light body, watery. Still drinkable lager when it´s cold.
1.5 Puszka. Nawet ladny zloty kolor . Piana biala obfita.
1.0 mostly dull flavour and not a great aftertaste. Bad grassy taste or "expired" taste to it?
3.1 Bottle 500ml, Price 0.69 eur. Lengvas, ?velnus skonis.. geras, i? ?aldytuvo, ?ilta vasaros diena...
1.8 Pint size can. Clear golden with a white head that leaves some lacings. Looks like any macro lager on the market. Grains and old damp hay, buttered popcorn, some citrus in the aroma. Grains and hay, stale water, some lemon soda and weeds in the taste. Light body, slight crispy carbponation, light oily texture. Macro stuff. Gets kind of hard to swallow after a while, though that clearly isn’t its intentions.
2.1 Medium head, gone to nil. Malt, honey, wet cardboard in aroma, malty sweet taste. No bitterness. Nothing beer.
2.4 Bouteille. [notes 2006]
1.9 5.2% golden colour with head that diminishes very quickly, slight sweet malt aroma, sweet malt taste, not good at all.
1.8 Can from Prince International Supermarket, Ashford. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some cream corn on the aroma. Not a great aroma. Slightly sticky in the mouth. Flavour isn’t great, some corn, some cereal, not much to give it a high score. Vague hop on the end, some lemon. It’s just not a very good beer. Ugh. Yep, not finishing this one, it’s a drain pour.
2.3 0.5l bottle (as Zelta Premium Lager Beer) from Beers of Europe. Clear golden colour with a large white head, fairly smooth but diminishes quite quickly leaving a very thin sliver, some lacing. Not much of an aroma to speak of, light bready, hoppy and malt notes. Taste of lightly sweet malts, hops. Inoffensive but a little bland.
2.4 Sample at Aussie backpackers, Riga. Pale golden body with a medium white head. Light bread, grass, some hay.
2.3 56,8 cl. can. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, straw and bitter finish.
1.7 (Bottle, clear glass, 0.5 l - BB 290916, thanks Marduk, 20151203) The beer poured golden and clear. Its heaf was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, paper and corn. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, paper, hint of grass and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. A poor and pointless pale lager.
2.3 Bottle. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Sweet, corny lager with a hint of leafy hop and moderately bitter finish. Not so good.
2.7 0,5l blik bij de super in sigulda vandaan. Goudgeel met een witte kraag aangenaam aroma van graan, smaak mourig met een frisse hop noot, een van de betere pilners die ik hier geproefd heb.
2.6 Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma has slightly sweet hay and corn. Flavor follows suit...slight grass but mostly sweet graininess and hay. Mouthfeel is medium / full and the finish is slightly syrupy and sweet. Not offensive but not good
2.7 Can 50cl. Medium white head, clear pilsener color. Aroma is soap, malt, wort. Taste is grass, malt, soap.
1.5 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head on there. Nose is light, with a bit of corn coming through there, but little else to it. Taste is light and relatively inoffensive, though not all that good at all.
2.7 Pours an orangish yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is sweet malts with maybe a hint of hops. Flavour is sweet (caramel malts) with a hint of straw from the hops. Also detect a little metallic taste.
2.4 Tough to find this forgettable beer anymore since the fire. It tasted clean and was very mild, but really nothing special.
2.7 Huge thanks to kevnic2008 for that one. Bottle looks simple but okay. Dont like that white glass bottles. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, a bit metallically, more and more dry malty. Could be more complex. But okay.
3.4 0.5l bottle. Color is indeed golden as it looks in transparent glass bottle. Aroma is weak but is of pleasent malt a little. Tongue sensations leave weak touch but its all good. Aftertaste is rather not long.
2.0 "not bad for a pale lager. still some sweet corn adjuctiness in there, but also some grain and light hopping detectable, and dare i say, a smidge of complexity. "
2.0 Peculier Pub, NYC bottle ($6): Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is sugary lager with some grain. Taste is pretty sweet and corny. Very low bitterness. This is not a very interesting beer.
1.7 Bottle. Clear golden with small white head. Flavour is malt, sweet, straw and watery.
2.1 Bottle from Rasputin’s, Ipswich. Poured a clear golden colour, with an average white head. Mild grain and malt aroma. Medium sweetness, light body, average carbonation.
2.1 Can (500 ml). Courtesy of mathieuc, thanks! Clear pale yellow with a small disappearing white head and little lacing. Aroma is hard to find... but when you get it there’s some grains, very light herbalness, hints of citrus and a huge presence of... nothing. Taste is quite bland too with very light citrus, grains and fainted herbal notes. Light body. Watery. Soft carbonation. A finish? Didn’t notice. There’s not much difference between taste and aftertaste so I can’t really say if it’s a long lasting aftertaste of if I was just unable to find the taste in the first place. You have to give it to this beer, the alcohol is super well hidden... probably playing hide & seek with flavor and aroma. If there’s really 5,2% abv in that beer, that’s a really cheap way to get drunk without any pain. Super easily drinkable. The epitome of blandness.
1.2 Can from Deya, burton. Golden beer no head. Aroma is faint malt. Taste is pale malt, metallic and an unpleasant herbal taste. Bad beer.
2.0 Boring beer that barely tastes anything. The bitterness is a bit metallic wich is not especially nice.
