2.9 Big ol' 7fiddy bottle from Tesco Inverurie. It pours clear amber with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is stinky sweet lager, boozy slap, damp grain, cereal, nuttiness, wet grass, biscuit and bread. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, grassy, floral, spicy, icing sugar like sweetness, bready malts, sweet biscuit (like the sweet one you get in a selection of crackers for cheese), spicy, damp leaves, herbal and a slap of booze with a bitter - sweet finish. Medium+ body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Actually don't mind this at all. Big and boozy. Kicks you right in the arse. Chuggable if cold.
2.6 A golden colour. Taste and aroma of some malt, honey, some fruit. Consider it as an OK beer.
3.0 Clear, red golden color, small white head. Biscuit malty, honey, floral sweet aroma. Medium dry, medium to high bitter taste. Floral, bready aftertaste. Medium texture, medium carbonation.
2.9 Bottiglia.
2.7 "Reserved for the most demanding palate", apparently - but this merely encompasses a palate unfamiliar to anything else than standard pale lager, I insist to add; from a doubtlessly expensive, 'reliefed' green bottle, at the restaurant connected to very recommendable Bois du Cazier site in Marcinelle. This one is among Spain's most popular industrial standard lagers, under the wings of 'big boss' Mahou San Miguel. Snow white, cobweb-lacing, frothy, irregular but stable head, crystal clear warm and very pure 'old gold' colour with calm but steady visible sparkling. Aroma of breakfast cereals, dry straw, iron pipes, damp cotton cloth, raw spinach leaf, a hint of thyme (weirdly), even green celery somewhere, freshly cut grass and that recognizable - but in this case admittedly relatively subtle - 'cooked' smell of pasteurisation. Sweetish-cereally onset, neutral in fruitiness (in other words, none at all and none expected), lively carbonated with minerally effect, stingy even; smooth cereally pale maltiness with a thin layer of unfermented, honeyish sweetishness on top but also a clear metallic 'zing' at the edges. Some onsetting oxidation but very faint, followed by a weird and unexpected, yet weak herbal note (that thyme again) and a very friendly and brief but notably grassy hop bitter accent. That herbal touch surprised me, it kind of caught me off guard so to speak, but I wonder if it fits well in this kind of semi-strong Euro pale lagers; of course that bland, 'cooked-to-death' cerealliness remains the dominant factor here, with a metallic and grainy edge matching completely with what one can expect from an industrial pale lager. Bit unusual, granted, but not necessarily for the best; perhaps finetuning a German style Pilsener at its usual 5% ABV would have impressed me more as 'Reserva'. Still, have an extra point for at least trying to be distinct in a vast ocean of bland pale lagers covering the entire planet.
3.3 Bottle at Delicatessen, Bodø. Has a clear amber colour with a big off-white head. Aroma of grains, sweet corn, pale malt, grass and spicy hops. Flavour of grains, pale malt and some grass and alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a soft bitterness. Decent and malty with a nice aroma. A little unbalanced and careful flavour.
2.8 Bottled 330ml (Mr. Beer, Sevilla). Pale copper, small white head. Light sweetish aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Sweet malts, light grass. Non-offensive but boring.
3.5 Se calhar das melhores cervejas espanhola, uma Pale Lager, de cor dourada, aroma muito agradável e sabor espetacular. 🍺🇪🇸
3.0 An OK lager, I don't really know what else to say. Nice pale golden colour and whiteish foam. Low bitterness, easy drink, some sweetness on the aftertaste. Got it served straight in the bottle at one place and with a glass at one. Work with some tapas.
2.8 Bottle. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate grassy balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of short duration. This beer was worth having once.
3.0 Butelka 0,33 litra, zakupiona przez kumpla w Hiszpanii. Wypita 6.11.2021. Barwa złota, klarowna. Piana biała, wysoka i trwała, obficie zdobi szkło. W aromacie lekko słodowe, odrobinę biszkoptowe. W smaku także głównie słodowe, z nutami biszkoptu. Średnia goryczka. Prosty lager, bez wad.
2.7 Klar gyllen brun farge med hvitt skum . Maltpreget i lukt. Noe humle og malt i smak. Lettdrikkelig med noe søt og tørr avslutning.
2.9 Small green bottle, drunk at home on a warm September evening. Burnished amber, plenty of head, lacing and rising carbonation. Chewy crust and biscuity malts on the nose with a touch of skunky yeast, More of the same in the mouth, heavy texture, almost no perceptible sweetness, sprigs of hoppy flavours leading into the mildly bitter finish. Not exactly light and refreshing, but well constructed all the same.
2.5 Clear deep golden pour with a thin white head and small white spots of lacing … aroma of skunk, grass, some floral hop and sweet caramel malts .,.. taste is of sweet malts, grassy hops, floral hop and some bitter hops on the backend …. Finish is of light bitter hops, floral and grassy hops with sweet malts …. Tad too sweet
3.0 Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a mellow grassy malt aroma. Moderately carbonated, the taste is well balanced sweet malt and bitter hops, with a kick of alcohol in the finish
3.2 Bottle 0,33 ltr: Clear golden coloured brew with an spot-on slightly sweet bitter taste with hints of caramel and some spicy hops.
2.7 Piana kremowa drobno i średnio pecherzykowata. Barwa złota, klarowna. W aromacie slabiutko, szybkp zanika. Czuć jakis slonecznik, trochę dms. W smaku miodowe.
2.7 Alcohol does come through a bit but still sweet and a bit mild at the same time. Not a bad beer and not skunky but drank in the city it is made. So fresh. Still has a chemical flavor on the end.
3.1 Bona opció de supermercat. Lager consistent, maltosa amb punt dolç, bona amargor del llúpol. Correcta
4.7 Good flavour!!.
3.0 Retro looking bottle. Nice golden colour, small head. Rich in taste lager beer - bread, grass, hops. Easy drinking.
3.3 A clean rich light amber beer. Medium head, corn and sweet malty notes with dry palate. Interesting overall and enjoyable.
2.7 Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle, gift from a friend. Pours golden with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, cereal, bread, herbs & sweet malt. Moderate body. Mild bitter finish
2.8 330ml bottle, online from Beers of Europe. Pours clear yellow golden with a small white head. Aroma: light hops, maize, bread, booze. Taste: light to moderate sweet, alcohol, some maize as well as mild notes of hops. Medium body with average carbonation. Tastes like a macro lager tbh.
2.8 (Not so) Strong Lager from Spain. Slightly ambered gold color, with a average and medium to low persistent white head. The aroma is characterized by cereals, bread, flowers and herbs. The taste is coherent with the aroma, with a discrete balance between the sweetness of malts and the floral bitterness of the hop. The body is medium, with a discrete carbonation and a fairly adeguate alcohol. Altogether a pleasant beer but lacking in particularly interesting ideas.
2.3 330ml. bottle. @"home", 22/02/2021 [#3.784 Global - #685 Spain - #4 Cervezas Alhambra] Amber colour with a medium and lacing white head. Aroma: Grains and aoft floral. Taste: sweet malts, straw and sugar. Medium bitterness. Kinda strange peppery mouthfeel. Next one please!
3.2 Nędzny euro lager. Pusty, zgodny ze stylem. Bez wad.
3.7 Bottle. Iberico, Sheffield. I’ll add it to the places. Bit of a muddy looking amber colour. Similarly dirty looking white head. Not especially a looker. Nose has slightly sour grain. Wet sugar. Some floral hop notes. Taste has some sweetness. A little bitterness. Drinks smooth and easy for the ABV. Moderate bitterness to finish. Been longing for a stinky lager and this hit the spot. To be honest it went in about 2 minutes.
3.0 zapach całkiem przyjemny, dość intensywny, wyraźne zioła, zielona butelka, świeża trawa i trochę całkiem przyjemnej piwnicy. kolor złoty, nawet głęboki, klarowny, piana biała, średnio obfita i średnio trwała. w smaku pełne, sporo słodów, suszone zioła, lekkie siano, odrobina miodu i dojrzałych jabłek, ale w pozytywny sposób, czyste, dobrze ułożone. goryczka umiarkowana, ziołowa, lekko łąkowa i lekko alkoholowa. w ustach pełne i dość okrągłe. nasycenie wysokie
