2.7 Clear golden with a frothy head. Yeasty, hoppy smell. Taste of a common beer with a rather bitter ending. Low carbonation.

2.6 On tap at the brewery bar in the Erkelenz Bierborse on 5th July 2019. Bright golden body, clean and clear, Snow White crown on top. Light floral aroma and taste, not a lot going on to be honest. Not a great advert for a Bavarian Helles.

2.8 Bottle picked up from Edeka, Stein Park Freising and consumed at home Attenkirchen Sunday 30th June 2019 sat in the garden under the plum tree on a blisteringly hot last day of the month. Pours gold, clear as a bell, white head atop. Grassy hops, watery beer, lacks in many areas, it's cold, it's refreshing and it's drinkable but there are a lot better beers out there that fit that basic criteria.

2.7 looks like a fancy beer but tastes like a cheap beer. Not a typical Helles but more of a watery pilsener.

3.1 50 cl. bottle. A clear yellow coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, straw, fruit, malt and with a bitter finish.

2.7 A smell of hay and corn, followed by a somewhat sweet flavour on the tongue. Another one of the beers I shouldn't really be rating, because I can't say I appreciate the style (Helles).

3.0 Jasnozłote, ładna biała piana. Aromat słaby, w zasadzie wyłącznie słód, z tyłu nieco ziolowości. W smaku bardzo słodowe, dość słodkie. Delikatna ziolowa goryczka, bardzo słaba. Lagerowe, czyste. Smaczne, ale nuda

2.7 Dorée légèrement trouble, petite mousse. Nez sur le malt doux. Gout malté céréales un peu fruité et citronné, note houblon herbeux. Fin sèche

2.5 50cl Bügel MHD10/2018. - Doughy Helles with a dull sweet&sour mash aroma that persists in taste while remaining dryish, ie non-slick on the palate and drinkable. Honeopathic accents of sweet lemon. Reminds me of golden cornflakes drenched in store brand lemonade.

2.4 Fruity floral aroma. Hardly any head. Sweet flavour. Hardly any carbonation. Some malts.

3.5 0,5 bottle from Lidl. Great, nice buckled glass, traditional. Nice golden color, medium soft white head. Round, hopy and malty scent, very good so far. The category is already a lighter drinking beer with a malt character. Which is also true here, but there is also a subtle hop bitterness. Perfect for drinking beer - it would be if it weren’t so expensive. I was satisfied, could come another time. Preferably, the category is "light" beer, but better than many premium lagers. *** Remek, szép csatos üveg, hagyományorző. Szép arany szín, közepes puha fehér hab. Kerek, komlós, egyben malátás illat, eddig nagyon rendben. A kategória eleve egy könnyedebb ivós sör, malátás karakterrel. Ami itt is igaz, de finom komlós keserűség is érződik. Ivósörnek tökéletes - lenne, ha nem lenne ilyen drága. Elégedett voltam, jöhet máskor is. Elivleg a kategória "könnyed" sör, de sok prémium lagernél jobb. .

3.1 Classic Helles. Pours golden with a decent white head. Grainy aroma. Taste is mild enough to be easily drinkable on a hot day, yet has enough savory and bitter elements.

2.6 Bottle at Beerdock Leek. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, some grass, slight cereal malts and subtle herbal hops. Taste of grain, some grass, sligjt cereal malts and subtle herbal hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, crisp, grainy bitterness in the finish. A plain and simple German helles. A little light though.

2.6 Im Gerich etwas plädderich, im Trunk erst bitter, dann schnell süßer werdend. Mittig wieder bitter bis hinten. Ab und an Heu, getreidig.

3.3 Fles 50cl thuis. Wat muffig, kellerbier achtig, zoetje. (3-2015). .

2.7 0,5 l Bügelflasche. Goldenes Bier, schöne stabile, weiße Schaumkrone, schöne Gardine. Riecht würzig, getreidig, leicht nussig. Schmeckt leicht würzig, malzig süß, etwas laff und wässrig.

3.5 Keg. A clear golden bright yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is clear, pale grains, cereal, little honey. Flavour is composed of crisp, pale grains, clean lager yeast.. Palate is semi sweet, crisp, highish carbonation,. Good sessionable lager.

2.7 0.5l flip-top bottle from rewe in charlottenburg, 0.89?. pours a clear pale golden with a medium head. mild aroma of grass, apples, just a hint of sweet malts. flavour is more malty, some grains, grass, apples, dust. well. drinkable, but not the best helles.

4.0 Har en smag af korn, mild humlet, brød og græs. Ikke det store smag i denne øl.

3.2 Bottle from Gourmeo24 Clear colour, white foam. Malty, light citrussy, bit dry and grassy. Easy drinkable. Not a bad Helles.

3.1 Botella. Golden colour, nice big white head. Aroma is malty and bit sweet with hops. Flavour is fresh and malty with caramel, frutish bit hops, nice bitterness.

2.5 Draft @ Hans im Glück, Bielefeld. Beautiful clear dark gold with a mid-sized white head. Aroma of grains, grass and floral hops. Taste is harsh grains, bread and malts. Only a little bit sweet but rather bitter for a Helles. Medium to strong carbonation. Doesn't feel that balanced. Still ok and drinkable though.

2.7 500 ml flip-top bottle opened with a moderate "pop" bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty. Clear pale golden colour; Two and a half finger head with soapy white foam which last for 2 minutes. Good sticky lacing with fizzy slow carbonation; Fairly pungent aroma of lager malt, with strong honey, cookie, strong floral, sugar, thick bread, lemon and strong grass; Mid to light sweet taste of fair lager malt, with metallic, grains, strong honey, fair cookies, strong floral, fair sugar, light spices, light herbs, lemon, fair to medium bitter hops and strong grass; Light body. Quite slick palate; Mouth feel is well attenuated maltyness in a slightly watery background. Pretty metallic with strong honey and nice nutty cookies. Very flowery but restrained sweetness, spicy bready with fair herbal lemon to round. Not bad… Hoppiness is strong floral, lemon and strong grass in nose., same in taste with spices and light herbs; Bitterness is moderate for an abrupt, mid to light astringent sweet-bitter light herbal finish; Fairly dry after taste. Bready, flowery and slightly bitter to mouth. Comments: As a Helles this is a bit on the light side, a little watery with fairly bang-on malty aroma but a tad too metallic. A little stronger malt could go a long way. Still drinkable.
