2.3 Colour…clear gold with a thin head. Nose…corn chowder, wet crackers and beeswax. Palate…frothy, crisp, grassy, husky and a quick lightly bitter finish.
3.5 Old Untappd check-in. August 11, 2018. Enjoyed much more because of the location, The Green Zone.
1.0 clear golden colour, quickly disappearing white head; aroma of sweat, wet cardboard, slight herbal, metallic and minimal citric notes; taste is dominated by artificial metallic bitterness with some sourish notes; almost undrinkable
2.4 Clear, pale gold with a tiny, white head. The aroma is grainy and slightly skunked. It has a light, thin body with average carbonation. The taste is pretty neutral and has a somewhat dry finish.
3.3 Follow the trip on instagram @juurperi #olutmaailmanympärimatka #beerworldtour Beer country number 58 Lebanon
1.5 Bottle: 330 ml, #beer-party with friends. beveik negeriamas, tikrai nepirkčiau.
3.3 Aroma is skunky malts and a hint of spicy hops. The flavor is mild fruit, skunky but not really bad malts and a spicy hop/mostly smooth finish.
2.1 Old Untappd checkin, November 1, 2018. Green glass bottle. Skunky aroma. Thin body, light malt flavor, crisp finish. Not one of the better pilsners I've had.
2.5 Bottle pour from Total Wine & More, Danvers. It's a clear gold with light sparkle, ring of off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is pilsner malts and crackers. Taste is weak pilsner malts, rice, perfume. Kind of watery. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nothing offensive here and it's highly drinkable but not that desirable.
2.0 12 oz. bottle shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom! Aroma is rice, sweet grain, perfume. Flavor is watered down version of the aroma. Well, it is a new country. Thanks Tom?
3.0 0.33 l bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki. Golden, clear, small head. Strong aroma of something... I guess it's corn (maize). Taste has some of that too with barley, but a decent hopping saves the day. Not bad.
3.0 Pilsner correct
2.0 Bottle. Pours a pale gold with an average white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste is malt, grain, and metal. Below average for a European (?) pilsner.
1.7 0,33 l bottle from Systembolaget Järfälla. Exciting find in the sense oh States, beer is common market pilsner.
3.3 Typical pale lager. Super clean and crisp heineken product. Typical, predictable. Misk Paris
2.4 Bottle at home, golden beer, small head, aroma is old hops, sewage/weed, metal, taste is metal, old, bittersweet, bit dusty, meh
2.3 Clear golden appearance with a fizzy white head. Mild aroma of lightly toasted grain and light hoppy notes. Similar flavor, adding mild sweetness and light bitterness. Light body with a slight watery finish. Tick.
1.9 From bottle in shaker at Little Beirut. Pours clear deep gold w/wispy white head that faded, grainy & grassy aroma. Clean and simple, very light bitterness
Klares gelb ohne Schaum. Geschmack wie Aroma: Süß, etwas Zitrus, kaum bitter.
2.8 Bottle many thx to Elias 2019-09-27 Göteborg AR: sweet bread, grass, caramel candis AP: clear coooery, wee white head F: seeet dry grass wee cardboard
1.5 Bottle bought at restaurant Meza, Örebro Sweden. This Lebanese lager is no different from other mediterranean watery lagers where the main purpose seems to be quenching thirst. Works well with spicy food.
2.6 (Bottle) Pours clear golden with no head. Aroma is grainy with hints of honey. Light body, nice carbonation. Taste is pretty bland sweetness at the start and a small amount of harsh bitterness at the end. Drinkable but not great.
2.1 Bottle: Poured a clear golden color lager with a medium size white head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of adjunct with some residual sugar notes is OK. Taste is a mix of adjunct and residual sugar notes with very subtle cereal notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Standard mass-produced adjunct lager.
