Alpine Beer Company Alpine Ale

Our namesake ale represents everything a good, well balanced pale ale should be: malty but not to sweet, refreshing but not too bitter, full-bodied but not too heavy, lively but not over carbonated. A clean, everyday beer that leaves your palate begging for more. 1.054 OG 32 IBU 5.5%ABV

3.5 On tap at WOB Arlington. Amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of pine, lemon, oranges, and caramel. Taste is of malt, light grass, some citrus and pine. A nice approachable beer.
2.9 On tap at Daily Growler, UA: amber pour with thin ring of white head. aroma of grain, honey. tastes are also grainy, grass, light citrus. I’ve loved their ipa’s so far, but not so much on the other styles. 5.8
3.0 Decent pale ale that doesnt wow or disapoint. Solid and sessionable the hops dont overkill and the alcohol is normal.
2.7 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark golden color with a large foamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was faintly fruity with mild notes of pine and citrus. The flavor was pine, citrus, tangy grapefruit and was somewhat bitter. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

3.1 Pour on tap at HopCat, clear dark orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, hints of bread, biscuit, hints of yeast into a bit of earth, slight butter, touch of grass. Taste was a mix of grass, bread, caramel, toffee, hints of slight orange peel into a bit of earth, butter, finishing bitter.
3.7 Draft at Hopcat GR - pours a medium gold . Soft herbal aroma . Taste is mild citrus with hints of pine and herbs . Really tasty .
4.1 Bomber poured into pint. Aroma is really lacking some hops, but the overall balance and smoothness of this APA is phenomenal. This is literally the definition of perfection for someone that’s not really into the hop forward craft beer movement. Almost has a Belgian quality to it.
3.0 On tap at Taps and Caps. Lighter pour with a white head. Aroma is is grain, a little toast, and pine trees. Taste is more pine, light grain, dry caramel, and a little citrus.
1.8 Bottle from the shack, pours copper, translucent, white head. Wet grains nose. Taste had more sloppy wet malt, cardboard, lingering earthy durt. This sux butt.
3.4 a decent pale ale with moderate hopping. quality, but nothing stands out. expected more w how great thier IPAs are.
3.7 Draft pour has a light golden color and a thin white head. Aroma has hops, light bitterness, and good supporting malt. Mouth feel is medium with good coating. Flavor shows the hops nicely, light bitterness, and a smooth finish.
4.1 Keg at Michael’s Bistro, Charlottesville. Clear copper, thin creamy white head. Good retention. Aroma of pale malt, mild toast, floral and grassy hops. The taste is bitter piney, citrus hops, candied citrus, pale malt. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness. Tongue stripping, nice.
3.0 [2/17/15] Draught at The Libertine Pub in Morro Bay. Clear deep golden. Aroma of piney hops and diacetyl. Flavor of piney hops, a bit of sweetish diacetyl and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.
3.3 Sample tried at p house care of Marcy. Pours golden orange color, with medium head. Notes are overly malty, lagery, and boring but I guess they were going for a basic malty pale ale. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Didn’t order one, stuck with nelson and hoppy birthday. Notes were toast, bitter hop, corn, and caramel.
3.6 Tap at brewery. Pours clear gold with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready and cereal malts, faint citrus, faint toast, and light grassiness. Flavor is dry and malty up front that quickly makes way to a great hop profile; smooth and very easy to drink. Medium body and carbonation.
3.6 4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear yellow with off-white head. Aromas of floral, citrus, caramel. Tastes of citrus, floral, pine. Medium body with a dry finish.
3.4 Mild hopfiger Antrunk, Zitrusnoten, etwas Klostein. Das Ganze wird noch etwas intensiver, wenig herb, spritzig. Herb würzig, sehr fruchtig, balanciert. Ok. 8/10/11/11//11

3.0 Tap at Ginger Man, New York. Colour is clear light.orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, hints of citrus, hops and malts. Quite easy.
3.8 Draft. Clear. Light gold. Big creamy white head. Nice balance. Light. Crisp and clean. Soft middle. Dry. Floral. Biscuity. Mild moderate bitter. I think it stands out from most APA’s.
3.9 Des malts miellés et agglutinés dans un corps tissé pour le confort, très douillet. L’apport des houblons est très délicat et l’amertume molle et souple. Construit comme une Kellerbier et c’est exactement ce que je cherchais.
3.7 draft, again, incredible drinkability, this one is toasty and crispy like a good czech pilsner, awesome light body, very toasty and biscuity. Awesome awesome stuff.
3.0 Bottle thanks to wheresyourball. Nose is softly spicy with a vanilla cream note to it. slightly orange. reminiscent of orange sherbet. Pour is deep yellow with a small white head. Taste is rather malty, soft, creamy, crackery with just a bit of hop bite and bitterness in the finish. Overall a pretty tasty pale ale, but seems a bit to sweet and full.
3.0 Draft at the brewery. Pours almost clear amber copper with a fizzy white head. Tastes like musky hops, dry bitter pine, and light grapefruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like pale malts and musky hops.
3.6 On tap at the brewery. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Mild hoppy aromas. Florally hop notes dominate. Nice malty backbone. Bitter but somewhat bland. Average body and mouthfeel.
