Fresh organic orange zest and cracked coriander complement the orange blossom honey used in this ale. Like a mountain breeze through the citrus trees. 1.060 OG 6 IBU 6.5% ABV.

2.0 22.09.2016, 0,65l bottle shared with Palme @ Beer Temple: Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild and slightly sweet floral, wet hay, flowers, wet grass, sap, light malts, heather, minerals, weeds, worth. Taste is slightly sweet, wet hay, sap, flowers, weeds, worth, grass, light malts, sugar, heather, paper. Medium bitterness, watery and dry harsh mouthfeel. Not bad, just freakin’ boring. If it had been 3% instead of 6,5%, then I would have accepted it as a fair and easy drinking thirst quencher...
3.0 Not sure what this is. The honey is smooth, medium sweet, and silky. But there’s other weak wheat like flavours and a novice mouth . Not what I want when grabbing an Alpine beer. Tame loose offering. -sincerely -Mr Buttons (not a cat)
3.7 Pleasant honey and citrus aroma mix. Taste is pretty much the same, finishes dry with only hints of any spices. A really balanced and easy drinking beer in overall
2.8 Golden and orange with no head. Definitely smells like mandarin and molasses. Taste of honey and mandarin and coriander. A bit of an odd aftertaste but otherwise ok.
3.3 Golden color with lots of sediment. Aroma is citrusy and floral with some sweet malt in the background. Taste is really underwhelming, not much going on. Just some clean malt sweetness and a slight floral note.
2.0 Alpine might make some of the worst beer on the planet since they sold out and made their shit at Green Flash. Between this atrocity and recent batches of duet/hoppy birthday, the company has become a total joke. What happened to the old days when I used to be blown away by the quality of their fresh hoppy bottles of beer. Seems like they only give a fuck about money these days like 90 percent of the other craft brewers. Notes of orange booze, spice and stale brewing ingredients. Not even worth noting anything else. Painful to my body and soul
2.8 Man this beer sucks. Tastes a bit stale malts, not much of anything else. What were they trying for?
2.7 Clear-golden with white head. Light straw aroma. Clean golden ale taste with a light earthiness.
3.3 Shared BOTTLE 75 CL. Fruity honey malts, light spice, black pepper. Dull fruit, grains and hints of chlorophyll. Mediocre.
2.3 SMells like perfume or artificial strawberry. Light, fruity, sweet body and flavor. Body is a bit flat but smooth and cool. Not sure where they’re calling this mandarin from.
3.0 651 ml. bottle. BBD 04 Aug 16. Pours a thin, poorly retained, off white head, over a very slightly hazy dark gold (SRM 6) body......nose is light citrus, with orange, tangerine notes, mild malts, minimal herbal hops.......taste is mildly sweet, with orange, lemon, hints of malts, finishing with mild herbal hop bitterness......mouth feel, light of medium body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation with light acid. This is a light, not particularly complex, uninteresting beer. It has no major flaws, other than being boring. I doubt that being 5 days too old is the entire explanation. The recipe could use substantial rework. BJCP 5/2/10/4/5
3.5 On tap at P&P Charleston. Hazy light orange with medium off-white head. Aroma is estery coriander, light body, medium carbonation, and some small-bubble lacing. Taste is estery, coriander, and a little orange. This is a wit.
3.8 Poured from a 22 OZ bomber into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear orange to golden color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet citrus. The taste is orange with some beer. A very sweet brew. An interesting take on the herb/spiced beer category.
3.0 Bomber, pours a clearish golden orange with a short lived white head. Aroma is orange, honey. Flavor is orange, honey, coriander. Finish is herbal. Lingering orange, lemon, honey. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel and average carbonation. A bit too sweet...
3.0 Bottle rating. Semi clear orange body with an ample white head which dissipates. Some orange peel in the nose, but it is more faint than expected. Flavor exhibits quite a bit of malt, namely in biscuit, some orange. Fairly easy to drink, but frankly, boring on the same hand.
3.7 Beautiful-looking beer. Pours a clear, copper-orange, with minimal head. Aroma has some grass, some coriander. Flavor is very smooth. Grassy, with some sweetness. The coriander is just barely noticeable.
3.2 Draft at Dutch’s, served in a pint glass. I was thrilled to see this, as Alpine stuff is now in Ohio and I’d only had about 6 of their beers, all hoppy and all awesome. This one poured a cloudy orange-gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Notes of orange blossom honey, a heavy dose, with marmalade, coriander, orange zest, and caramel malts. Medium-bodied, with a jammy, fruity, sweet mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. It’s kind of a mess. Muddled and overly sweet, with the hops way in the background. I would’ve never guessed this was an Alpine beer. Surprising and disappointing.
3.0 Deep orange golden, aroma is orange cleaner, slightly skunky despite being fresh and some weird spice. Taste is lightly orange oil. Whatever, not great and too expensive.
3.1 Pours a golden orange. Light head. ARoma is orange fruit spice floral. Medium subtle aroma, nothing spectacular. TAste is kinda diety with coriander spice and lemon orange like character. Foamy ish body, just not a good taste overall, don’t like the coriander its a bit strong in main flavor. Little bit of grassy funk. Bad aftertaste. Aroma and appearance are about all I like.
2.9 Bottle to glass. Aromas of orange and honey with slight cracker malt. Slightly hazy orange with minimal retained head. Orange flavor. Very thin mouthfeel.
3.0 slightly cloudy amber color; light, citrusy aroma; slightly sweet malt with citrsuy orange notes; a refreshing beer; citrus is done with moderation and not overwhelming; still I’d prefer some more hop bitterness to balance it out better
3.2 Draft at Over the Bars bar in North Park, Pittsburgh. Mild tastes of citrus but no flavor to back up the rest of the beer. Not recommended.
3.1 Tap at Busters. Bright orange pour with a white head. Citrus, cracker, coriander. This is okay.
4.7 Wow! Every bit as good as you imagine it could be. Mandarin nectar in beer form. Amazing how well it comes together. This beer blew me away. I’m surprised the scores aren’t better. I think it’s masterful.
3.6 Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Light mandarin, citrus, coriander, spice aromas. Spice, herbal, mandarin oranges, light sweet when tones.
3.1 Bottle- pours gold white head- nose and taste of honey, coriander, orange zest - medium body
3.3 Bottle from Bottleworks. Always happy to see what Alpine is up to. This one has a sweet floral aroma, plenty of honey and not much hops to the flavor, definite orange peel and coriander. A bit slick. I quite enjoyed drinking this and at the same time don’t feel like it was a particulary good beer, if that makes any sense.
2.8 Sorry my Alpine friends, I thought this one missed pretty badly. It is not satisfying as a the offering suggested. None of the flavors hit home to me, bit thin. Serving: 22oz bottle
3.5 Sweet orange citrus medium bodied malt. Burnt orange color and small white head.
3.8 Golden orange in color... Aroma of light malts, caramel, honey... Flavor is rich honey, citrus, tropical fruits... Really nice
