3.9 Auch hier wieder wieder ein ganz feines Bierchen von Alpine. In der Nase erdig, Pinien, im Trunk harzig, hopfig, Pinien, sehr cremig, hinten bitter, geiles Teil.
4.1 Can@home, from BeerRepublic. Medium, balanced nuances of sweet and hoppy, slightly overaged fruits like mango and apricot. Resin and pine notes are also strengthened by a lot of hops with clear hop profile. The hops have clearly seen their best days. Medium taste spectrum and long hoppy aftertaste with bitterish fruits. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, very good schoolbook-like US style IPA. Should be much more fresh though. 8 4 8 4 17
3.8 Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is piney hops with grapefruit, pine resin, malt, some orange, touch of caramel. Sweetish flavour with a medium bitterness. Medium body. Nice classic resinous hops, dig it.
3.4 355ml can. Sweet, caramely malty and crisp piney with some grass, citrus and hints of aged hops. Not very fresh, just sweet and piney. Would like to try this again from a fresh can/tap.
4.0 Bottle from Total Wine in San Jose. Yellow amber color. Dense white foam. Wonderful crisp clean medium bitterness. Malty finishing aroma. Fruity hop aroma. Easy to drink. Very good.
3.8 Golden color with thin white head. Resinous aroma with some piney notes. Moderate bitterness. Solid beer but not memorable.
3.9 33cl can. Modest aroma of tropical fruits and resin. Subtle and well balanced flavors or pine, tropical fruits and malts. Not an in-your-face type of ipa but has more depth than most of its competitors.
3.7 Aroma is pretty neutral, just hints of citrus and hops. Orange in color, just a litte haze, but can still see the fizz in the beer. Taste is apricot, hops, oranges, medium bitterness and dry.
5.0 Flavorful piney hops deliver a long, slow ride to be enjoyed for every lasting drop in each mouthful. Reminds me of a Foghat song.
3.3 35cl Bottle from Bierhut. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, some rubber, light citrus. Flavour of citrus, pine, light rubbery, light malty, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Don't think this was very fresh. Mellow IPA.
1.3 Clear pale on tap at hollywood gardens, nice place. A little BO on the nose. Rude like old sex. Beginning is bitter ass. IPA ubiquitous is the term here. Almost nasty. Typical IPA, on style and what else can be said?
3.5 (tap) clear, bright pale yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of crushed weeds; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish
3.8 Bottle from a supermarket in Cali - golden color, white head. very nice IPA! super resinous, lots of hops, feels sticky :) excellent, I like this brewery
3.7 35,5cl Bottle @ La Buena Cerveza, Madrid, Spain. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, fruits, pine, slightly malty. Taste is hops, citrus, grapefruit, herbs, malt. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.8 On tap at the brewery. Pours golden with small white head leavig spotty lacing. The aroma is pine and citrus. Slick body, dank, grapefruit, light resin bitterness, very good.
3.7 12 oz. bottle, bb 03 October 2017. Mostly clear orange brew with lots of legs and a sturdy disc of sugary, crunchy foam. Nose is orange toffee with a spot of tea. Tastes of the same up front. Mild citrus zest shows up in later sips. Some reedy-wooden hop notes, along with a touch of dry cocoa and walnut gather together in the finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation and a tasty balance even though the hops faded after a year and a half in the bottle. Would love to try a fresh version, or pay less than premium pricing for old stock, McScrooges!
3.9 355ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Piney, resinous and citrusy hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, caramel malty background, notes of orange, tangerine, orange zest, lemon peel. Taste is crisp, bitter, resinous, piney and citrusy hoppy, sweet-ish caramel malty basis, notes of orange, tangerine, lemon, lemon and orange peel. Oily-watery texture, smooth, soft and silky palate. Very clean, crisp - iconic West Coast IPA.
3.4 1/24/18. 12oz bottle. Orange pour with a nice khaki head that sticks. Once I got into this, I realized it was an old bottle :( Slight tropical fruit aroma, hint of dank, pale malts, earthy, black tea. Hop character is lost in the flavor, muted, hints of fruitiness and citrus, earthy, pale malt doughiness, touch of caramel. Meh. Had potential, I'm guessing.
3.4 Tap @ Murphy's Law. Orange color. Red fruit and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with citrus, grapes and tannines. Decent.
3.8 Light amber / orange with small white head. Slight malty aroma with hoppy notes. Good hoppy bitterness with citrus sourness on the malty background.
4.5 Transparente color Ámbar , muy equilibrada , pino y resina aromática , con amargor agradable que deja con ganas de dar otro trago, excelente ejecución
3.5 Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has candied orange, orange peel, tangerine and resiny hops. Taste has sweet tangerine notes and resiny hops but not overly bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Decent IPA but very generic.
3.9 Draught @ Alpine Beer Pub, Alpine. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grassy, bitter fruity hops, citrus grapefruit, pine. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, grassy, fruity, citrus, pine. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and lasting bitter finish. 240718

4.1 Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, very nicely hoppy, sticky hops, hop bitter. Old school hoppiness, resinous and piney, yeah I love it. Not this NEIPA sweetness you get everywhere nowadays. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Nice!
3.8 Bottle. Pours clear orange with a thin off white head. Aroma is pine, caramel, tobacco, citrus. Taste is citrus, pine, caramel. Not a hop monster, nice balance.
3.5 Clear/hazy golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight off-white head. Medium aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Orange, tropical fruit, pine, hops and citrus. 7/3/8/3
