3.4 Light yellow with small white head that dissipates quickly. Sweet flavor with a light hop bitterness at the end to balance it out.
2.7 Metallern herber, trocken hellmalziger Beginn. Moderat bitter, wässrig, monoton. Nja.. 10/8/9/7//8
3.3 Clear light golden with a decent white head. Taste is somewhat elegant, meaning rather mild in the beginning but with a well-balanced grainy ans gently bitter palate. Quite good.
3.5 Süffiges Bier mit angenehmer Bittere
3.9 Frisch, feinherb
3.0 Gold, klar, leichte Krone. Süßlich, etwas malzig, etwas grüner Apfel. Sehr süffig.
2.8 Draft at the Café Atlantik, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Enjoyed on October 6 2018. Clear golden color with a small white head. Earthy, dry and malty. A bit thin. Even watery.
3.5 nice claer golden pils. taste is grasy or hay like. carbonation is balanced.
3.2 2x
3.0 Tap tijdens vakantie Hotel Ocksen in Blauwbueren. Eerlijk bier; simpel maar goed. Licht van kleur; ook licht schuim.
2.9 Erster Eindruck süßlich - herb, dann bleibt ein bitterer Hopfen Anteil. Nur leicht malzige, würzige Aromen. Nicht sehr besonders.
3.4 Bottle. Slightly fogged gold. White fluffy head. Nose: clean pilsner malts, honey, floral hops that reminds of some English ales. Medium minus body. Soft carbonation. Taste: clean malts and beautiful fresh floral hops. Light bitterness. Good.
3.5 Tap. Pours clear golden with a big stable head. Aroma is slightly floral and grassy over grains, but decent. Body is light, crisp and refreshing. Gentle hops over a spritzy texture, soft sweetness with a grassy bitterness. Some sweetness on the palate too, rather southern German style pils. Good.
3.1 Klare, goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfig grasiger, leicht getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hopfig, leicht malzig, leicht getreidig. Leichte Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure. Ordentlich gemacht.
3.0 Tap at Protokoll, Berlin - clear golden color, white head. decent pils, bit metallic in the finish. nothing special but okay.
2.6 Blonde moyenne bue en soirée. Long arrière goût plutôt désagréable. Robe très claire mais encore blonde. Petite mousse blanche persistante.
3.1 Pint bottle. An active pour resulted in a big white fluffy head. The beer under it is clear hay golden. A fairly robust (for the style) lemon, grain, and noble hop aroma. The flavor is that plus some honey and a dry earthiness but sweet malts step up later. Pears and a little peach late. Decent.
3.0 Pale yellow color with moderate head. Sweet malt and moderately bitter citrus and hay. Ok beer
3.0 Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours Clear Pale yellow with a white head. Rough and husky grainy nose and flavor. A bit of bread and a whiff of iron. Forgettable.
Although the menu claimed 'bière artisanale', this turns out to be standard, decent, but unremarkable pils.
3.2 Good malt and hop aroma Herbal hop flavour strongly in the finish Special kind of pils with the herby hop. Very good.
3.3 9th May 2016 Bottleshare at Lancaster Gate. Thanks to Fergus. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Sweetish pale malts, light German nutty tang. Sweetish floral mid. Trace of citric peel. Light semi dry finish. Decent pils.
3.8 the aroma is malty and hoppy with shades of grain, herbs and some spices... the taste is very clear and refreshening, malty and herbal with smooth hoppy bitterness... dry and bitter aftertaste...
2.8 50cl bottle shared at Leighton’s May tasting. Many thanks to Fergus for this one. It pours a clean golden color with a small white head. Aroma is medium sweet and lightly dry crispy grainy with light grassy notes. Taste is more sweet with plenty of caramel toffee and grainy starch. Light bodied with OK carbonation. Overall, meh
2.9 Bottle at Bespin, thanks to Lando, 09/05/16. Pale golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is grain, cereal, straw, pale malt, faint lemon. Taste comprises pale malt, grain, straw, lemon drizzle, touch of bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp close. Ok Pils.
3.1 Bottle share at Leighton’s, with thanks to Fergus. As ’Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu Pils’. Dark yellow, clear, still, small foamy off-white head. Aroma is corn, honeyed multigrain bar, flapjack. Body is smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is biscuity, soft malts, multigrain bar, soft bitterness. Very solid for style.
