4.4 Great appearance, great taste and great aroma for this quality German beer!

2.4 500 ml bottle served in mug, clear golden with medium foam head. Grass, citrus, grain. Quite bitter, but not hoppy. Soft carbonation, thin body. Reminds me more on a Pils than Helles. Hop extract just adds bitterness, but no aroma.

2.6 500ml flip-top bottle opened with loud “pop” bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty. Light golden colour; Three finger head with crumpety white foam which last for three minutes; Very good sticky lacing with active slight carbonation; Quite pungent aroma of full lager malt, with strong floral, honey, sugar, strong dry biscuits, light spices, lemon and smelly grass; Close to light sweet taste of fair lager malt, with very light tartness, soda water, floral, light sugar, spices, biscuits, strong lemon, medium bitter hops and grass; Light body. Dry and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is fair lager maltyness in a watery and soapy background. Flowery, herbal with light spices. Fair sweetness with strong grassy lemon to round. Kinda okay… Hoppiness is strong floral, light spices, lemon and smelly grass in nose. Spices, floral, strong lemon, and grass in taste; Bitterness is fairly strong for a lasting, medium astringent herbal malty finish; Dry after taste. Very biscuity and quite bitter to mouth. Comments: This one got a strong dry biscuit aroma for a quick impression, but the watery soapy taste which ruined the otherwise strong spicy herbal hoppiness. The punchy characters are there, but just too soggy to be great. A drinkable miss.

2.6 0,5 l Flasche. Aroma: leicht malzig, leicht würzig, leicht hopfig, metallisch. Erscheinung: Goldgelbes Bier, weißer Schaum, schöne Gardine. Geschmack: malzig süß, leicht säuerlich, angenehm bitter. Nachgeschmack: Bitterkeit hält sich recht lange. Gesamt: durchschnittlich, aber trinkbar.

2.8 Warka 11/2016. Geshenk od wujka dla taty. Degustowane z ojcem po pół. Piwo w piwie z piwem. Nuda. Średnia, wyraźna goryczka. Coś jakby zmieszany Lech Pils z Lechem Premium.

3.0 50cl Bottle from REWE Stenten. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of grass, sweet malts, honey. Flavour is light malty, straw, light sweet, grassy, hint of aluminium in the grassy and herbal bitter finish. Light bodied. OK.

3.0 Botella de @Vivalabirra, Oviedo 19/03/2016 BBD:03/16 Color ambar, sabor maltoso,cereal, cuerpo medio.

2.5 Clear golden/pale color with high stable head. Aroma of malt and bread. Taste is medium bitter, with quite strong bitter finish. Drinkable.

3.1 27-Feb-2016-0,5L Flasche. Hellgelb, klar, weißer Schaum. Aroma: Malzig. Antrunk herb hopfig.

3.4 (Altenmünster Brauer Bier Hopfig Herb) Swing top bottle 500 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 4.9% Golden yellow colour on the body, mostly clea, with a small but thick enough white head on top, with good retention. Aroma of light malts, some bread, light straw. Taste has more bread, grains, light strawand grass, hops, with a nice bitter finish. Medium bidy, good carbonation, nicely dry palate. Pretty good.

2.9 Bottle. Clear yellow body with a medium white head. Herbs, hay, Pilsner malt, light hoppy. Seen better days.

3.2 Bottle from Edeka Winterberg, small sample. Clear yellow to golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of grainy malt, slight grassy hop. Crisp and slight bitter, slight dry. Easy going beer. Ok.

2.9 3/3/2011 12:07:23 AM Bottle at Munich Airport. Malty, herbal pils nose. Taste of herbs, hops spices. Nice texture.

3.1 Bottled - Clear golden colour, small white head. Nice floral, grassy hop aromas, some malty sweetness. Light, crisp body, lively carbonation, bitter finish. I think this amount of bitterness is too much for a helles, its not harsh at all, but i’d rather call it a german pilsner. Not bad, better than the average.

3.4 Goldene Farbe, fester Schaum. Honig und blumig, jedoch nicht sehr stark im Geruch. Der Geschmack ist leicht fruchtig, süß und rund. Der Nachgeschmack hopfig herb.

3.2 Geel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig, niet typisch Helles, meer Pilsener. Smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen.

2.2 Altmünster’s foam is nice and it has a lovely caramelized rounded taste of malt. Rich fact is most marked by an aggressive hops, as it is difficult to lay down further. Many German lagers are brewed with the tasty Saaz hops, which is mild and slightly floral, but in this lager the hops is somewhat disjointed and messy. Still, it is a tasty lager which is easily assimilated by the Danish green Tuborg.

2.8 500ml fliptop (Kaufland, Olpe) Fucking fucker’s fliptop popped between shop and hotel. Shame, this is one of the best beers I found in Olpe. Bold fresh bitter and herbal hoppy aroma, slightly citrussy bite. Pale, and frothy head. Slightly papery bitter taste. But clearly packed full of beer ingredients. Grainy, a hint of husks, some oatmeal biscuits. Good bitter bite, resins stay on the tongue. With all the malts and hops, this is quite full in the palate, and is pleasantly carbonated. Well brewed lager, nicely attenuated. I’d have called this a pilsner, the attenuation and hopping are so high.

2.8 Appearance: Golden coloured body, with asteady airy head. Aroma:l ight sweetish aroma, faint fruitiness and light grassy hoppyness. Taste: moderate sweet, quite bitter for it’s style, grains, malts with some spicey notes in a mild herbal hoppy finish. thin body(not watery), average carbonation. A bit borring but ok beer. Expected a German Pilsner like beer with more herbal hop bitterness,, which is what it is.

2.9 Bottle - clear yellow pour with white head. Aroma and taste is grassy, floral, some corn, straw, lemony fruity notes, easy drinking, ok.

2.8 50 cl. bottle. Clear yellow colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit and hints of alcohol.

2.9 Bottle at Borup. Clear yellow colored with a small white head. Malty aroma of caramel and bread with notes of hops. Malty flavor of caramel, bread and hops. Hoppy finish.

2.0 500ml Flasche. Klar und dunkelgold. Durchschnittliche Krone. Leicht hopfig. Insgesamt mangelt’s jedoch an Aroma, zu wässrig. Leicht süsslich im Nachgeschmack.

2.4 0.5L bottle. Pours clear pale with a white head. Mild aromas: cereal grain, honey, resiny and piney hops. Mild sweet flavor, clean grain, and lots of resiny and piney hops, although not bitter. Light body with a thon mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, nivce hop character and clean flavor, but nothing special.
