3.3Copenhagen 16/6 2019. 33 cl bottle from Mikkeller Web-shop. The version I am driking is the 8 pct. ABV version. Simple label in yellow and brown not telling me much more than the name of the beer and that it is a "Blond Sour 8 % Alc. Vol".
Pours murky amber with almost no foam. Settles as very thin fine layer unable to cover the surface of the beer. Disappears shortly after. No lacing.
Aroma is dominated by sour berries, vinegar and a distinct funky odor. Some light sweet fruit lurking beneath the surface. But it pretty much drown in the sour bonanza.
Very light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong, acerbic, acidic sourness. Aftertaste is vinegar sour. Lingering. Finish is dry and vinous
More "Sour" than "Blond". But then again "Murky Sour" does not sell.
4.1A hazed cognac amber ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, beautiful sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of dark fruits, brett, grapeskin, nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity tart mix of lemon pulp, dark fruits, plums, ground cherries, lactic acid, very nice and complex. On tap at Clandestin.
3.6Bottle from Systembolaget. Fruity and tart smell with some oak and a hint of nail polish. Similar taste. Medium tart. Not entirely clean but definitely drinkable.
3.5Sour light balsamic. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Soured light grains and cherry. Solid but decent.
2.7Goudblond bier, genoeg koolzuur. Geur fruitig, zuur. Smaak fruitig, zuur. Fris, droog mondgevoel. Nasmaak zuur als open gegist bier. Niet mijn ding.
3.4Sweetish, marmelady scent. Sour taste, loads of citrus and rubarb with some candy aftertaste.
2.5Tap. Cloudy rusty amber color. Small size, bubbly beige head, disappears. Spicy, sour, apples, acidic in aroma and in taste. Not really mu cup of tea. Drinkable brew.

4.1Bottle. Aroma is lactic and funky, but also sweet and fruity. Taste is moderate sour, forest fruits, blueberries, peach, rich and refreshing.
3.7Bottle at Nüetnigenough. Pours dark orange with beige head. Aroma is sour, fruits, vinegar. Flavor is sour, oak, vinegar, fruits, sugar. Finish has some sourness. Overall: very good.
3.8330ml bottle at Nüetnigenough. Pours hazy orange colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour, bretty, bit woody, some lingonberry. Taste is tart, woody, bretty, fruity, some ripe strawberry, apples. Medium body, bit below average carbonation. Very nice sour with complex soft mouthfeel
3.7330ml bottle. Pours dark golden amber colour. Thin white head. Notes of caramel, raisiny, nougaty notes, moderate acidity and something which reminds BFM (Switzeland) beers in the aroma. Moderate acidity, notes of caramel in the taste. Acidic finish. Caramelly notes in the aftertaste. Quite complex, bit acidic beer. Good one.
3.5Hazy cider-brown pour, small white head. Not much aroma, but a nice flavor of oak, raspberry, blueberry...nice tartness.
3.8Pours a deep amber coloration with a tiny, fizzy, quickly vanishing head and some floaters on the final pour. Smells of red berries, white grape, tannins and oak, with certain vinous note. Taste starts out rather sweet, with fruity notes of red berries: raspberry, redcurrant, white grape and light citrus. Then a medium, moldy sourness creeps in that's not very funky and more acidic/lactic in character. Strong notes of tannins and oak as well, which lend quite a vinous quality to this. Some light, spicy esters and musty earthiness are present too. Finishes with a medium sourness and some tannins lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and low carbonation. There's a lot going on here and while this lends a good complexity to this, the balance could be better in my opinion. This starts out way too sweet for me and the vinous character isn't really for me either. I would have like a little funk, which this beer clearly isn't about though. If you like sweet, fruity sours with a strong vinous character then you are probably going to enjoy this quite a bit.
3.9Bottle @ home, cellared for 9 months. Deep orange colored with a white head. Taste and aroma of white grapes, brettanomyces, lemon, oak, red currants, earth, bread, honey, yeast. Moth feel is dry, medium tart, and balanced bitter.
4.1Sour fruit aroma, moldy wooden barrel. Lovely cloudy orange color with minimal sized white head. Wonderful sour fruit taste and fresh apricot. Medium to full body, lively tingly carbonation, silky texture. Alcohol is completely hidden. Insanely good brew! //tap at Café Beermoth at Alvinne tap takeover
3.333cl fles. Oranjekleurig bier met roze zweem en een weinig wit schuimrandje. Geur: Bloedappelsien, vineus, tropisch, melkzuur, verse eik. Smaak: zeer zuur, melkzuur, vers citroensap. Matige koolzuurprikkel. Iets te zuur voor mij.
3.8Good funky notes, grapy, good oaky notes, amber with a thin ocher head, light body, quite fizy, a bit sweet with a good tart grapy notes, red fruits...quite good!
3.8Bottle from Mitra Bunnik as Alvinne Cuvee Sofie at 8 % ABV. Bottlecap mentions CSO Lot:935, Sep 2020. Label mentions "bast fore" 20-12-31. Cloudy orange color, short frothy head. Aroma of apricot and funky yeast, slight hint of yeast byproducts. Flavor has medium tartness, mostly citric, some sweet worty caramel, quite fruity apricot. It is very close to being a lovely tart apricot pie, but it has slight off flavors, as some sours sometimes do. Definitely has potential, and still is very enjoyable.
3.5Thanks for sharing bottle, Brian. Good sour. Bold up front flavour. Surprising and well done sour. Not for the faint of tongue.
4.0Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Abv 8%. Juicy tart fruity aroma with citrus, apricot, soft oak, lemon, some bready malt, and yeast. Flavour is tart and rather sour, nicely puckering, with a dry finish. Body is medium. Nicely fruity and quite sour, excellent puckering juice.
3.5Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour tart woody aroma. Fruity sour tart woody flavor. Has a fruity sour tart woody yeasty finish.
3.7$5.49 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours murky orange-amber with a soft beige head. Aroma is tart fruit: apricot perhaps, red wine notes. Flavor is sweet-tart, stone fruit juice, lemon zest, oak, light vinegar. Tasty.
3.5Color naranja, muy turbio, prácticamente opaco, con capa de espuma blanca de menos de un dedo de grosor y escasísima retención. Carbonatación suave. Textura acuosa. Aroma a ácido acético, no demasiado remarcado, gracias a Dios; también madera y ligeros toques florales. Sabor a ácido acético, madera, fruta ácida. Bastante vinagre pero a la vez bastante fresca, cosa curiosa. Final ácido. Postgusto ácido.
3.7Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma i s red wine barrel, funk, cherry, acetone. Body is intense, quite sour, bitter almond, acetone, strongly carbonated. Still a lot of barrel, tannins, grapes, cherries, raisin. Lingering palate of acetone and barrel. Good, but rather extreme.
