4.2 Robe noire, mousse brune, crémeuse, de bonne tenue. Nez chocolat, alcool, raisins secs, pruneaux, réglisse. Bouche complexe : chocolat, fruits secs, pruneaux, notes de réglisse et d'anis. Corps rond et texture liquoreuse, bonne carbo, bonne longueur. On est entre une imperial stout et une brune forte belge, très bonne bière !
3.4 0.33 l bottle shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran. Tasting session in the summer of 2017. Dark brown to black. Fruity and light roasty. Sweet. Full body, moderate carbonation. Good.
3.9 Zeer donker bier met sterk schuimende kraag die vrij vlug verdwijnt. Smaken van koffie, gebrande mout, hout, vrij bitter (cichorei). Eerder een droog bitter bier.
3.7 Robe brune, belle mousse crémeuse, abondante et persistante. Nez assez discret, chocolat noir, grains de café, malt torréfié. Bouche à l'attaque à la fois torréfiée et acidulée, fine bulle tendue, amertume marquée en milieu de bouche et finale sèche et serrée. Un Imperial Stout un peu sévère qui manque de rondeur à mon goût.
3.7 Spicy and earthy with yeasty undertones. Dry hops and not too sweet goes down easily a nice drink overall. Doesnt fall for the pitfalls regarding stouts of being sickly or sweet it is smooth nice stout with a sharp bitterness to it.

3.2 Gekocht op zaterdag 4-2-2017 bij K&S Beer Tobacco Galerie in de Katelijnestraat 52 te Brugge tijdens het 10é Bruggse bierfestival. Een winkeltje waar je keuze hebt uit meer dan 500 verschillende bieren en met nog een ingang/achterdeur rechttegenover brouwerij De Halve Maan. En geproefd op 1-7-2017. Als je Alvinne Mano Negra ontkurkt probeert er reeds wat schuim uit de fles te komen, dus snel inschenken is de boodschap maar wel opletten voor de meekomende gist. Het is een zwartkleurig bier dat veel beige-kleurig schuim produceert in een gelijkmatige laag. Het is normaal wandklevend en zakt snel in elkaar, na een tijdje heb je nog een laagje van minder dan 1 mm dikte en op het einde is het schuim helemaal verdwenen. Alvinne Mano Negra heeft wel een uitgebreid aroma: een klein (melk?) zuurtje, wat stroperig zoet, koffiemout en wat houttoetsen. De smaak is bitterig en wat zoetig, ook het zuurtje zit erin en ook het zoet stroperige, nu smaak je ook wat cichoreibitter en wat bosbessen en zwarte bessen, het moutige is nu gebrand. In de mond geeft Alvinne Mano Negra een volle smaak en is hij wat bitterdroog, kwa textuur is hij wat olie-achtig en hij is normaal prikkelend. Je krijgt een verwarmend gevoel van deze Alvinne Mano Negra. De nasmaak vloeit lang uit en is cichoreibitter en wat kruidig met gekarameliseerde houttoetsen. Wat rood fruit ervaar je ook en ook wat gebrande mouten. Het kruidige blijft ook lang hangen. Geen slecht degustatiebiertje, het wordt een Imperial Stout genoemd, ik dacht dat het daarom sterk wrang ging zijn maar bij langzame degustatie is het best te pruimen.
3.8 330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours dark, thin tan head. Aroma has some chocolate, red berries, vinous funk. Taste bears similar characteristics with interesting layered vinous notes, complex berry fruit, soft funk, grainy malt. soft roast but no sour elements. Interesting, and works.
3.6 Draft keg at Beer Gonzo taproom. Poured black with light beige head. Nose is dark fruits and malt. Taste is chocolate dark fruits dark cocoa malts.
3.4 Thanks V & L! Almost black. Almost no head. Chocolate and raisin aroma. Dry chocolate, overpowered by chili and alcohol notes, dried cherries. Okay enough, medium body.
2.9 .Tomada de botella en Cerveceria Kraken. Negra bastante acida. Alvine es siempre compleja. En esta caso no me ha convencido.
3.3 Pours almost black with some ruby reflexes, no head. Aroma: a touch of soy sauce, besides that tons of dark fruit, nice dark malt aroma with hints of chocolate. Taste: nicely balanced, chocolate, dark fruit, coffee. Palate is nicely bitter with chocolate, A little bit of alcohol as well.
3.9 Roasted malts with a good hints of blueberry and dark fruits, dark brown with a thin head, medium body, easy to drink and alcohol is well hidden, again some coffee but also fruity...yes very good and belgian.
3.8 Fresh from the tap at Muted Horn in Berlin. Deep black without a remarkeble foam layer. Strong alcohol notes in the nose. Strong alcoholic body.
3.8 On tap at Nüetnigenough, Bruxelles. Pours dark brown, medium beige head. Brett, chocolate, cocoa, sourish, dark fruit, fruit, medium to full bodied. Vinous. Not usually a fan of such beers but enjoyed this one.
3.9 Bottle at home. Hazy very dark brown with big fizzy light brown head that leaves a nice film. Tobacco, cocoa, leather, some funk, plums, red berries. Actually some more funk comes up after a while, with red wine and hay. Some alcohol towards the finish. Medium sweet, not too bitter and not long lasting in the finish either. Over medium bodied with dry finish. I quite like this! It’s funky, vineuous and complex but not sour.
3.7 Veel zuur en fruit in aroma. De smaak is licht geroosterd, chocolade en zuur met bosbessen. Zurige afdronk met rood fruit. Interessante mix, een afwijkende Imperial Stout.
3.3 Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy white head. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a roasty light smoke red berry fruit, liqourice alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
2.9 Dark brown color with firm beige head. Aroma of dough, sourness, alcohol, dark fruits, chocolate. Medium body, lively carbonated, hot alcohol. In flavor dominates alcohol, roastiness, some sour notes. Malty backbone supports medium to high bitterness. In aftertaste roasty bitterness, ash.
3.5 Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Almost black coloured, small brownish head, mild chocolate nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, yeast and pretty strong alcohol with touch of dried fruits in rather sweet and mild spicy finish. Pleasant brew.
3.5 Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy black with a thick tan head that exploded out of the bottle and onto the floor. It has a spicy red fruit and chocolate flavour with oak, vanilla and earthy spices on the smooth fruity finish. Good but a bit too high ABV.
3.1 At BBF, murky dark brown color, aroma of apple ,spice and dark bread, flavor of apples and minerals with some butter and just a roasty hint, alcohol noticable and some tannins. Fair.

2.8 Butelka 0,33l, pite w ostatnim miesiącu daty. W aromacie trochę ciemnych słodów, trochę dziko, nuty winogronowe, owocowe. W smaku wytrawnie, trochę paloności. Umiarkowane nasycenie. Goryczka umiarkowana.
3.5 Draft at Borefts 2016, Day 2. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, toffee, tart overripe dark fruit and light funk. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. [24-09-2016]
3.6 Keg @Borefts 2016. Pours brown black. Nose is sour, chocolate (dark) and some licorice. Big bitter finish from this.
3.5 On tap at Bprefest 2016: pours Black color, with tan light brown head. Aroma and flavors: intense notes of dark, roasted malts, supported with fruity notes, which takes on dark fruits. Body is medium to full, texture is soft, carbonation is medium to low.
