2.7Looks terrible: ellow muddy with alomost no head. Yeasty aroma. Bitter taste with some sweet fruity notes - tastes much better than it lloks like.
3.3Bottle. Gusher. Nose is melon grape, herbal and floral hop notes. Taste is very mineral and dry. Strong herbal and medicinal hops. A gentle soft fruit note underneath. Since citrus. Dry mineral finish, almost brett notes. Since spice and pepper.
This beer is nice and dry, but is more like a saison than a triple for me.
3.2April 27, 2015. Bottle at home.
Slow gusher, cloudy dark orange with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is sweet sugary, orange, a bit sour, grass, overripe fruit. Taste is medium sweet, very soft bitter with a slight acidity. Medium bodied, average carbonation.
2.6Bottle. Pours an ugly, hazy orange, no head. Aroma is light sour, light vinegar and cherry, some berries, some caramel, light stone fruit. Taste is light sour, caramel, light yeast, fermented, ripe fruit. Some stone fruit. Ethanol slightly on the finish. Fairly light, low carbonation. One of the ugliest beers I’ve come across.
2.9330ml bottle. pours a very hazy orangey yellow with loads of floating sediment. aroma is yeast, hops and barn. taste is rather sharp, dry yeast. maybe some hops in there but mainly quite yeasty.
3.5Bottle. Golden pour, white head. Aroma of barnyard and dry yeast. Slightly funky taste of dry grassy yeast, acidic fruit and subtle brett. Nice sour-ish tripel.
3.0Bursted out of the bottle absurdly more than half of the beer left over as foam... yeast smell overripe melon smell, medium carbonation, medium bitter yeasty some apple fruity taste
3.5Bottle; pours a golden orange with almost no head; aroma is sweet with caramel, yeast, and fruits; taste is light sweet with fruits, yeast, caramel, and some light spice; finish is light bitter with a hint of alcohol; not bad
2.7Bottle at home, massive gusher, half the beer down the drain. Enormous off-white head, beer is murky orange/brown. Hay, lemon, brown brad, some light spices and some German hops. Light sweet with metallic bitterness. Medium bodied with watery feel.
Lite väl vild kanske, men mycket karaktär.
2.8From draft, poured a deep orange colour with a white head. Funky brett notes upfront, tart, citrus, malt, green Apples, grapes, weird funky aftertaste. Don’t like it. Everything turns sour and weird at alvinne
3.2Opaque orange-amber colored, no head whatsoever, yeast lacing. Aroma tart yeasty, fruits some alcohol. Taste is very astringent, mildly malty sweet, fruits, yeasty peppery and grassy, medium bitterness. Dry. Alcohol heat is noticeable. Medium bodied.
3.4Bottled 330ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Orange/golden coloured, ho head at all, tartish nose. Moderate sweet malty, quite yeasty, slight perfumed fruity and touch of spices with decent hop presence. Yeasty and mild alcoholic finish. As getting warmer alcohol becomes more noticable.
3.4Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy orange colored brew with an nice dry bitter taste and with hints of oranges, apple and grapefruit. And for one time no gusher, most of their beers are like somekind of geysers of beers.
3.1Pours amber with a massive head.
Nose shwos funky Brett, lemon notes, soft malt and confectionery.
Flavours include more Brett, some sweet malt and a herbal character.
Massively overcarbonated.
3.3Bottle - 330ml. Hazy amber body with a thin, white creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with fruity, flowery, and herbal hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries malty, piney, and herbal notes. Ends with a robust bitter finish. Not bad.
3.6Bottle 33cl. Cloudy medium amber color, one finger frothy white head, diminishes slowly to thin layer, fair lacing; sourish fruity geuze-like nose, orange, lemon, ginger, anis, cinnamon, yeast; taste medium sweet and bitter; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste dry bitter, herbal and spicy notes, light sour undertones; overall not your typical tripel, quite complex in taste and aftertaste, not something I would drink often.
On goûte fort l’alcool.
3.6Apple juice aroma. Started expanding upon opening the bottle. Tastes a bit like champagne.
3.9Wow, what a gusher. Lost up to two third of a 330ml bottle. Color orange marmalade golden with a orange head. Nose: yeast, Malts, aromatic, bit of a fruity touch. Something stale in the back. Taste:funky wild yeast, fruity, hops, overall very complex. Alcohol gives you a little deserved kick. Definitely not the one to fall asleep with. good carbonation, bitter and very long lasting finish. Very nice beer.
3.8Bottle 0.33l from Dranken Geers Ghent Belgium.Pour it blurry orange color with medium white head.Taste and aroma of peach, grapefruit, orange, bread and Belgian Yeast.Very nice and good balanced.
3.7Hazy brown color with a white head with short duration, high carbonation when opened. Aroma has notes of caramel, toasted malts, ripe banana and some yeasty notes. Flavor is slightly sweet with notes of toasted malts, mild sourness, some ripe fruit as well and yeasty notes with a high presence of alcohol. Sweet final with alcoholic mouthfeel.
3.4Gushing to good, off-white head, not very stable, over fiercely carbonated , cloudy, amberish-orange beer. Dry spicy nose with a fine sourish edge, bit lactic, and many fruity esters (strawberry, a.o.) Bitter-spicy flavour, bitter spices & vegetables, as artichoke(liqueur). Yeast is everywhere, but the fruity esters from the nose are all but gone. Some bitter liqueur keeps suggesting itself to me. Medium bodied at best, lively carbonation, yeast all in suspension and hence present in the MF. Bit weird. I keep to my idea that ’Morpheus’ is a yeast best suited for Oud Bruin and tutti quanti, rather than for classic ales.
3.1Wow, this one was a real gusher. Pours cloudy gold with a huge fluffy and persistent white head. Aroma has the trademark morpheus yeast apple cider vinegar notes along with some funk and grains. The taste is sweet and sour apple, bread, orange zest and some wet cardboard. Medium bodied and peppery. Not a huge fan of the morpheus yeast but this is at least better than the morpheus sours I’ve tasted.
2.8light soft hoppy aroma, amber, cloudy, off white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, soft carbonation, hoppy finish.
3.8Taste this beer more times. Last @ home 15.07.’14 from bottle 33 cl.
Hazy darkgolden to light amber color, with a offwhite head.
Aroma: yeast, malts, sour. Medium body.
Taste: start with sweetness, malts, hops, good bitterness.
Nice tripel.
