Amager Batch 1000
A celebration beer for the first 1000 batches of beer brewed at Amager Bryghus.

Tankene er blevet flere, VI er blevet flere og - indrømmet - så er vi måske nok også blevet lidt rundere. Men det er kun fordi, vi har det godt og prøvesmager grundigt på øllet! Nu har vi brygget og smagt os helt frem til batch # 1000, og det vil vi gerne fejre med en af de øltyper, som vi ved, at mange er glade for: en saftig og humledryppende IPA med amerikansk inspiration. Der er humle alle vegne i Batch 1000, en slags under mæskning og kogning, to andre i whirlpoolen og så tre forskellige under både første og anden tørhumling. Tak for støtten til jer alle gennem årene her i betonhelvedet i Tårnby - vi var her ikke i dag uden jer.
English: A great deal of beer has run through our fermentation tanks since Amager Bryghus opened in April 2007. There are more tanks now, and more of US – and, admittedly, there is a bit more of EACH of us as well. But that is just an indication that we are doing well and working hard at sampling beer for you! Now we have brewed and sampled our way to Batch #1.000, and we want to celebrate that with a beer of a type we know many of you love dearly: a juicy, American inspired IPA, dripping with hops. There are hops everywhere in Batch #1.000 – one kind during the mashing and the boil, two others in the whirlpool, and finally three more added during both the first and second dry hopping. Thank you for your support through all the years we’ve spent in Tårnby’s concrete Hell. We would not be here today, if it wasn’t for you.

Llauna Hopt. Maltosa, amb fruita madura, resinosa i punt cítric a pomelo. Bona IPA
Canette de 44 cl, bue ce dimanche soir. Elle se boit bien cette ipa! Herkules, amarillo, chinook, simcoe, citra, mosaic, sorachi ace, centennial tout va bien sauf le sorachi. Mais à part ça bien tout de même!
44cl blik. Helder oranje kleur, middelfijne romige witte schuimkraag. De geur is ananas en sinaasappel. Smaak is zoet, grapefruit, overrijp fruit en gras. Medium body en veel koolzuur.
Can. Orange color. Overripe tropical fruit and floral notes in the aroma, lychee and pineapple in the floral hopbitter flavor. Overripe fruit. Oily hopbitter finish.
Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney hops with grapefruit, pine resin, malt, orange, tropical notes, hint of caramel. Flavour is nicely bitter with a mild sweetness. Body is medium. Bittersweetish with lots of pine and grapefruit hops, this classic profile IPA has everything in the right proportions.
Pours hazy amber with small top
Nose is abricot, mandarin and oat
Taste is dry hopps with dryness that expands, pineneedles, hay and grapefruit finish
Dark golden with long lasting white head.
Hoppy bitterness offset with a hint of fruity notes and pine.
Golden with a white head - Good fruity hop aroma - Malt body with a good fruity hop flavour that has good bitterness - The hop flavours goes into the finish with bitterness - This was good
Bottle. Peach, caramel and some alcohol in aroma. Hazy orange color with minimal sized white head. Heavy bitterness, heavy sweetness, tropical fruit, caramel and peach. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy. Probably old.
Citrussmag og mandarin, en god humlebitterhed, men ellers en fin smag af malten også.
(Bottle) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, with big frothy off-white head. Hoppy, malty nose with notes of grapefruit, tropical fruit, mango, orange marmalade, caramel and pine needles. Hoppy, malty taste with grapefruit, mango, citrus peel, orange marmalade, pine needles, caramel, crisp-bread and a solid citric, piney bitterness in a fairly dry finish. More than medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Bitterness is impressive, but never aggressive. Good malt profile to match it. This is how it's done, no fancy stuff, just really, really good beer. Excellent IPA.
Bomber from Liberty on The Drive in Vancouver. A darker amber IPA with citrus, pine and malt notes on the nose. As on the nose, the citrus and pine notes are on the palate, but this has a lot more malt than the average IPA. Massive, I would say, and in a good way at that. I sort of prefer my IPAs with big malt background, except in the warmest weather. This is a great one. 4
Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear golden copper with a half a finger of foam that dissipates. Floral hoppy nose with biscuit malt and light herbal notes that linger. Crisp and dry with some lemon and young strawberry notes. Smooth finish with lingering herbal, lemon notes and biscuit malt.
Too rough. Extremely. Aroma is quite gentle and sweet
Orange with a off-white head. Aroma is straight forward hoppy with notes of peacehs, pineapple, grape, citrus, sweet friut and orange. Taste is hoppy with sweet citrus, exotic fruit and pinbe. The sweet-bitternes combination is perfect.

Popijeno u Stella Beer2Go dućanu i kušaoni piva u Medulinu .
IPA vrlo moćne voćne arome i voćnog ali dosta "zahmeljenog" okusa.
Kad napravite gutljaj spremite se na lagani 'nokdaun' :)
Znači to je pivo za 'čvrste' momke! :)

Još uvjek možda i najbolja klasična IPA koju sam probao do sada !
Tap at Dutch Trading - muted aroma and taste - toffee malt swamps the hops which therefore can’t shine - bitterness also doesn’t come through the sweet malt - pleasant enough but disappointing for this hophead.
Bottle a cloudy dark golden yellow colored beer with a white head aroma malts citrus fruits pineapple yeast spicy tropical fruits some caramel and hops flavor malts citrus pineapple grapefruits some caramel and a bitter hoppy flavor

Appearance: Hazy dark golden colour with a white head.
Aroma: Tropical fruit, citrus, pine.
Body: Medium body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit.
Drank 14-08-17 with Rik and Lennart while watching Game of Thrones. Goede beetje dikkig, malt ook. Bitter, niet super hoppig
Butelka 500ml.Kolor złoty, mętny, piana grubo pęcherzykowa, o nieładnym wyglądzie, jednak się trzyma. Aromat kiszonych ogórków i żywicy, w smaku duża goryczka, wytrawne. Piwo ewidentnie przeciętne, zalegające na podniebieniu.
W aromacie żywica, białe owoce, cytrusy. W wyglądzie średnio opalizujące, kremowa piana, zdobiąca szkło. W smaku wytrawne, bardzo goryczkowe, cytrusowe, grejpfrutowe, żywiczne. Pijalność średnia. Ogólnie ipa idąca w wytrawność i goryczkę, charakterna.
Hazy, orange-golden colored, medium off white frothy head, nice lasting. Aroma is of malt, some caramel, strong hoppy pine, floral and citrus grapefruit aroma, resin. Taste is medium+ sweet malt and caramel, strong pine hoppiness, some floral and grapefruit notes as well, strong bitterness, resiny, dry finish, lasting bitter aftertaste. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, resiny. Much better condition than the last time I had it, more body and stronger hops than half of DIPAs out there...

nice color. Very significant taste of bitterness, fruit and pine.
Tap at beercap. Pours hazy blonde, small white head with a nice lacing. Smell is fresh, green hopcones, mild pine notes. Decently malty ( caramel malts ) . Taste is really maltforward. Caramel malts, as well as a certain type of candy like sweetness ( mildly ) hoppyness is lower than anticipated, as malt overtook the most. Tastes like its not super fresh, but I doubt they would tap an old IPA in this pub ?
Hazy golden liquid with lots of white head. Aroma is hops. Taste is sweet malts and some honey first, then hops. Sweetness of first taste is well balanced with bitterness in aftertaste. Alcohol well hidden. Surprisingly sweet IPA with medium to strong bitterness. Excellent!
Batch 1532 actually. Heh. From Spicy Days. Shared with heavy. Misty amber-golden body, white head. Slightly heavy aroma with vibrant fruity touches, peach, white grapes and citrus. Light malt underneath, vague oxidation. Fruity, perfumy and herbal hoppy taste on a good malty base. The bitterness builds up buy remains balanced. Very nice beer, exceeding my expectations.
On tap at biercab. Amber colour with white head. Caramel aroma. Caramel, bitter. hoppy, sweet taste. MEdium body.
