Danish.

English: Take a good thing and make it even better – that’s the philosophy behind Double Black Mash. This huge Imperial Stout was easily big and potent enough after the first mashing, but we thought what the heck let’s give it another spin. So we mashed it in a second time doubling everything that was already good while aiming for great. All grain, heavy duty, no nonsense. Did we hit what we aimed at? Well, that’s really up to you to decide. If you like it big and black this for is your kinda beer for sure.

Ingredienser: Vand, Malte: Pilsner, Pale, Münchener, Roasted Barley, Cara-hell, Melanoidin, Light chocolate, Cara-aroma, Crystal og Black, Humle: Cascade og Chinook, Gær: US Ale

Sorso densissimo e vellutato , carbonazione bassa.
4.2 Meget tung øl. Lakrids, og mørke malte smages tydeligt. God nydeøl. God øl der også kan nydes alene
4.4 Big imperial stout. Very malty and roasty. Slight bittersweet chocolate finish. Great heavy body.
5.0 Wow. Det her er en smagsexplosion. Den når hele vejen rundt i munden. Meget intense. Jeg elsker det
4.0 Versión 2019. Color negro, opaca. Textura oleosa, casi cremosa. Carbonatación baja. RIS de manual, sin chifladuras.
4.0 Kolsvart med mörkbrunt skum. Doftar och smakar rostad malt, kaffe, choklad och lite soja. Söt med besk avslutning
4.0 33cl fles. Helder donker bruin van kleur. Fijne romige creme schuimkraag.
Licht sticky.
4.0 Black. Brown head, three fingers, good retention, good lacing. Difficult to see the carbonation through the darnkness. Almost creamy texture, delicate fizz. Aroma is molasses, coffee vibes, black chocolate, roasted malts, tobacco, caramel, burnt malts, hints of whisky. Taste is coffee vibes, tobacco, ash, ripe fruits, charcoal, black chocolate, caramel and burnt malts. Soft sweetness. Bittersweet finish, more bitter than sweet. In fact, ashy bitterness, and dryness, in aftertaste. Alcohol is rather well integrated, showing a little bit. Really good Classic RIS.
4.2 pite jakiś czas temu. uzupełnienie profilu. Ocena przepisana z utpd. Miłego dnia.
4.2 Pitch black with a nice tanned head. Aroma is very intense with chocolate, espresso, plum. Super thick and oily mouthfeel. Taste is bitter chocolate, coffee, raisins, dark roasted malts. Long hoppy and bitter aftertaste. This beer truly has double of everything.
4.0 33cl bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 11-10-2019. In short: boozy Istout Did I enjoy it: yes. Pours black with little tan head. Licorice, liquor, roasty, coffee, some spicy nose. Full body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is roasty, sweet, some boozy. Enjoyable.
4.1 Imperial stout by this classic Danish craft brewer, double mashed to get a ‘bigger’, more concentrated result; thanks Johan fors haring. Lacing, mousy, pale yellowish beige, stable head over a jet black beer. Aroma of cappuccino, ‘fondant’ chocolate, burnt toast, toasted walnut, whisky, molasses, toffee, pipe tobacco, nutmeg, candied dates, cognac. Sweet onset, candied dates, bit sticky with outspoken, beef stock-like umami aspects but the flavours remain well in balance with each other; soft carb, very full and oily, viscous mouthfeel (as I was expecting seen the double mash process), layer upon layer of nutty, black-chocolatey, toffeeish and cappuccino-like maltiness, very full, complex with roasted, chicory-like bitterness in the tail yet remaining altogether quite soft, followed by a spicy hop note and warming, whisky-like alcohol, while that umami factor lingers. Typical modern (American style) imperial stout of the kind the craft beer movement has brought a vast black ocean, as typical for that idiom as it gets and very well made, could stand as an example to those unfamiliar with this type of beer. No strings attached here, no exotic or downright silly ingredients, just a basic, but very dense and complex ‘impy’.
3.9 Pivo u flaši. Kupljeno u Hoppiness dućanu u Kopru . Moćna aroma prženog slada , čokolade i alkohola , šta daje laganu likerastu notu..

3.9 Botella. Rating no. 12.500. Pitch black colour, big light brown creamy head, steady. Lots of roasted malts indeed in the sweet aroma along with chocolate and licorice. Good filling palate. Flavour: Lots of roasted malts, quite sweet, chocolate, coffee, licorice notes, good bitterness. Quite a sweet roasty malty chocolate finish. Thick brew.

4.2 Copenhagen 13/4 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Silhouette of a howling wolf in front of some mountains on the label. It does not look like Amager. 2018-edition. Pours a thick, opaque dark brown - almost black - with a small bit stable beige head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Aroma is intense, sweet but with a bitter, twisted alcoholic bite. Cocoa, dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, hints of vanilla and a strong potent presence of alcohol. Light carbonation. Immensely thick, creamy, oily, sticky, soft texture with just enough liveliness not to make it flat. Flavor is heavy sweet bordering on being sugary. Followed by a quite strong coffee bitterness wallowing in alcohol. Has it's own rough balance. Lingering. Strapping Young Lad once made a very noisy album called "Heavy as a really Heavy Thing". It might apply to this.
4.2 Bottle, 0.50l, shared with colleagues. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and dust. Pours pitch black color with thin creamy dark brown head and without any mentionable lacing. Tastes sweet and rich roasted malty with notes of chocolate, nuts, licorice and mild bitterness. Full body, syrupy texture and light carbonation in palate. Big, thick and slick...
