Amager The Sinner Series Greed

Amager The Sinner Series Greed

English:
We asked our smartass marketing director what beer would be a good choice for the sin of Greed. He only pondered for a sec and then said: “We should simply do as all the big players do: make a cheapass beer and sell it at a premium prize – that’s greed for you alright”. Our marketing director is a smart guy, so of course we did what he said. We even put a picture of him on the label.
The beer however turned out pretty badass. It’s a straight up German Pilsener without any fuss. Dig it – we do.

We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Brewed from pilsener malts, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops and a Southern German lager yeast.

3.4 Pours yellow with medium white head. Aroma is mould, paper, some smoke, malts, old furniture, wood, some dusty clothes. Taste is bitter, berries, some apple, hops, some grass, hay, wooden, some milk dessert notes. Nice beer!
3.0 50cl fles. Gisttroebel geel kleur, fijne romige witte schuimkraag.
0,5/5€. AMAGER BREWERY DK.
2.9 500ml bottle from Beergium. Batch 1155. Hazy yellow colour with a white head. Grassy, earthy, mild hoppiness, malty. Ok.
3.2 Hazy yellow colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a mild citrusy bitterness. Otherwise it’s a pleasant and malty unfiltered Pilsener.
2.8 Bottle. Light hops and malty aroma, some floral notes. Taste is light bitter, light sweet. Flavor is light DMS, herbs, grain.
4.2 From Beergium. In Bavaria glass. After dinner. A pilsner of manual. Fresh-feeling grassy hops, although its 2 months before is bb date. A pity its price, but at least I purchased it in a 60% sale

2.9 Pours hazy straw with a soapy white head that quickly fades to 0.5 cm. Aroma: citrus, floral, herbs, a little grass. Taste: malts, little honey. Medium body with medium carbonation and short aftertaste. Not something special.
3.4 Bottle, 0.50l, shared with Roman. Pours hazy deep straw color with thin soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, citric, grassy and floral. Taste starts moderate sweet grainy with mild honey note, following is refreshing citric and herbal, while finish is moderate bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Very nice for the style...
3.6 yellow golden, clear, big white head, sweet malty honey aroma, some herbs, watery mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation, medium sweetness, grassy hoppy taste, spicy hoppy bitter finish, very nice
3.1 Bottle. Pours slightly hazy straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of fart and yeast, with notes of hops and malt. Sweetish, estery and malty flavour, with bitter, hoppy notes. Bitter aftertaste with estery notes. This specimen concludes my sinful voyage through the series. Not as pleasant as the other sins I have committed but still drinkable.
2.6 Bottle from VilleValla Pub. Light yellow with clear white head. Medium-hogh carbonation. Smells of citrus, pine and bread. Taste quite watery, citrusy and of pine. Little bit of bread (think is was most association from the smell on the bread part). Maybe good to drink cold in the sun, otherwise not too exciting.
2.3 Sample from brads beer rep...love the artwork...beer lacks any real flavor...tastes of cereal grains and malt ...light hops...reminds me of miller high life.
3.3 Aged bottle from State Line. Pours turbid gold with white head that laces well. Nose was hops, citrus florals, white pepper Tasted of hops, citrus, pale malt, crisp finish.
3.5 Pours gold with a large head. Nose shows spicy and grassy hops along with light cereal notes. Flavours include grainy and biscuity malt along with spicy and herbal hops.
2.9 500ml bottle @ Blind Tiger, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy gold with large white head. Aroma is smooth buttery malt. Taste continues but tastes a little lacklustre and tired. Felt a bit of a tit paying £6 for this.
3.1 On tap. @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo 22/01/2016 Color amarillo, sabor malta, notas citricas, cuerpo ligero.
3.3 500 mml bottle tasted on the 20/01/2016. Malty pilsner with intense flavour and fresh finish. NExt one please!
2.9 Not quite a traditional saison. Is a little flat and tasteless. Not sure it lives up to the greed name.
3.5 Pinta en La Braña (Torrelavega) . Fantástica pilsner suave y redonda. Hallertau Rules!
3.1 How: bottle Appearance: cloudy light yellow, small white head. Aroma: citrus, grass, floral, some honey. Palate: light body, lively carbonation.
3.6 Dorado lechoso y espuma blanca ligera. Aromas maltosos medios, florales y ligero cítrico. Cuerpo ligero, inicio maltoso suave y sabor ligeramente cítrico con final de amargor débil.
3.2 Crystal clear, bright and crisp sunny yellow/blond (4EBC) at first becoming opalescent at second pour. Offers a fine poring pillowy white head, good lacings with a light viscousity. Aromas of green grass, fresh straw, herbal-earthy notes dominate, yet a light floralness and touches of wet autumn leaves appear. Fine carbonation with a smooth texture and a slender body. Crisp sweetness upfront with a harmonic grassy/herbal bitterness developping offering a light astringent spike to it. The finish is light bitter-dry and linear - a thirst quencher.
2.5 Hazy gold beer with a decent white head. Palate is crisp and dry. Minerals. Dry malt. Peppery spice. Little citrus and dry seltzer. Dry finish. Dull and dry. Really wants something more to bring it alive.
2.6 Copenhagen 21/8 2015. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsens Vinhandel. Greedy fellow caressing hops on the label. Pours pale yellow and slightly hazy with white head. Settles slowly to 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is of citrus and slightly chemical buttery notes. Medium carbonation. Flavour is rather sweet. Malts and honey combined with a light bitterness. Rather short aftertaste. They try a slightly ironic take on the label with "We should make a cheap-ass beer and sell it at a premium prize". Unfortunately all too true.
3.6 Nónics: kellerbieren belül qurvajó. Dohos pincében a legjobb inni. Csukott szemmel.
