Amarcord AMA Bionda

Amarcord AMA Bionda

- Bellissima schiuma bianco candido cremosa, densa, persistente.
- Birra color giallo chiaro opalescente.
- Buona l'intensità olfattiva ma decisamente attraente la sua finezza aromatica. Il miele d'arancio, si palesa in modo evidente al naso a temperature medio- alte, ma a temperatura di servizio prevarica la sensazione citrica e fresca, acidula.
- Corpo medio e notevole effervescenza.
(ENG) AMA is a transatlantic brewing project that carries the signature of Amarcord Beer, with its origins in a meeting in New York with Garrett Oliver, the Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster, and the internationally famous designer Milton Glaser, amongst other things the inventor of the "I love NY" logo. /// Ama Bionda: Bright gold in colour, with a compact foamy head. Fruity and floral notes from the use of orange-blossom honey and slow refermentation in the bottle. Great elegance, harmony and balance on the palate. Every sip finishes with the tang of hops, with the invitation to continue the experience. ///
- Beautiful snow-white foam, creamy, dense, persistent.

- Light yellow opalescent beer.

- Good olfactory intensity and definitely attractive its aromatic finesse. The orange blossom honey is revealed clearly in the nose to medium-high temperatures, but at serving temperature the fresh feeling citrus and sour perfume prevails.

- Medium body and considerable effervescence.

- The palate feels notes of fresh citrus, very present the citric acid. As it warms it loads sweet aroma of honey and barley malt. A fresh finish, rich in citrus notes, a refined dryness in the end. The bitter content matches with the other marked flavours (acid, citrus).

- Aftertaste releases long and winding notes of fresh citrus that combine with sugary notes and malt.

- A refreshing beer , fragrant, well-balanced the sweet-acid notes, ending moderately dry invokes the next sip.

3.1 (bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Discreet aroma of honey-ish cara-malt with flowery and mildly fruity accents, including hints of oranges. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Soft, delicately nutty malty base with shades of caramel, accompanied by mildly fruity and floral notes; mildly sweet and fruity finish with citric flavours of oranges. Pairs good with food; not a session beer. 12.VI.17
3.3 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into trappist glass. Appearance: Deep/blurry golden colour, with foamy head. Aroma: Floral, fruity, yeast… Palate: Medium body, high carbonation. Taste: Spicy (clove, coriander), orange peel, yeast, hoppy finish, moderate bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Interesting, enjoyable and tasty. Cool bottle/label.
3.4 355 ml bottle at a Pizzeria, bb 03/07/17. Dark golden to amber, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, yellowish head. Aroma of yeast, spices, bread, dried fruits, some grass, some flowers. Tastes quite similar, with more bready notes. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a fizzy carbonation. Finishes spicy, yeasty, bready, a bit sweet, with subtle fruits. Nice one. A typical, yeast-forward Belgian ale, with good spicy and fruity notes, that drinks fresh and quite easy. Nothing unique and not that complex, but a solid style example.
3.9 Monumentális, tartós hab, narancsba hajló félbarna szín, szűretlen. Citrusos, fűszeres illat. Mézes, fűszeres, citrusos, enyhén citrushéjas ízek. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Kellemesen fűszeres, élénk, jó összhangú sör.
3.1 the BOTTLE looks good: Hazy, deep golden coloured, small and stable white foamy layer; distinctive orangey- fruity and yeasty nose, pale malt and mild piney hops in the background; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering fruity-yeasty and moderately hoppy finish. A bit thin, but all in all quite good...
3.9 Bottle, 0.355l. Pours hazy golden body with two finger creamy white head. Very good retention and lacing. Smell is malty and yeasty with strong bready character to it. Medium body, softly carbonated. Texture is very nice, thick and creamy. Starts of sweet, gets slightly bitter towards the finish. Nicely balanced brew. Aroma is full and rich, malts, yeast, caramel, sugar. Bready and herbal. Light touch of coriander and spices. Gets a bit boozy towards the end. Aftertaste is dominated by spices and alcohol. Overall, very good brew. Tasty.
3.2 355ml long neck bottle bought at YATA in New Town Plaza, Shatin. Looks: Clear golden orangeOne and half finger head and crumpety white foam which lasts for 4 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with active slight carbonation. Aroma: Very fragrant and sweet malt, with strong banana, vanilla, pineapple, peaches, yellow fruits, strong bubble gum, floral, sugar, bread, strong Bel yeast, light lemon and light grass. Taste: Close to light sweet Pils malt, with faint mangoes, floral, fair molasses, light spices, biscuits, yeast, lemon, fair to light bitter grassy hops. Body: Medium body. Slick and smooth palate. Mouth Feel: Good Pils maltyness in a solid smooth background. Minimal taste with little fruity malt or esters except very light mangoes. Flowery and fair sweetness. Light spicy, strong biscuit with fair lemon to round. Quite good. Hoppiness: Floral, light lemon and light grass in nose. Light spices, floral, lemon and light grass in taste; Bitterness is light for an abrupt, low astringent malty finish. After Taste: Fairly dry. Sweet and fairly easy to mouth. Comments: Its aroma is so Belgian Blond and promising, especially the strong bubble gum and rich banana esters. However the taste is very underwhelming, devoid of lively Bel yeasty or sweet character that it missed the mark. A Belgian blonde that flatters to deceive. Not outstanding.
