3.8 jaune foncé pas très limpide. Grosse mousse qui reste avec un bon lacing. Un nez de houblon citriques. Un peu fizzy mais pas trop. On ne sent pas les 7% d’alcool.
3.6 Not bad but I think the hops aren't agng well. Appearance is a small off-white head with some Lace and a hazy honey amber color. Aroma is caramel malt hop wet cardboard bit of yeast and fruit. Flavor's Like aroma and lacks much sweetness so is quite dry and astringent which along with the wet cardboard isn't such a good combination. Yet oddly it's still kind of drinkable. Body is okay and has an odd chalkiness to it. Not one of my favorite beers but it's not bad.
3.6 At Eurhop festival in Rome-Italy. Golden hazy with a decent white foamy head. The nose recalls the West Coast IPAs. There is the resin, citrus, it is well done. Same the mouth: juicy lemon, fruity. But there is a hole in the middle...a gap from this good beer and the other American west coast excellences.
3.5 I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a off white head. Taste citrus, sweet, fruity. I thought this was good. I could drink this again.
3.4 Huge head and carbonation, the overly prickly feel being the beers only real fault. Lots of swirling helped, and eventually the feel was nicer. Soft even. Soapy grassy herbal hops and sweet fruitiness blend together nicely in this flavorful but mellow ale. Started out ok, but grew on me every sip."
3.9 Tap at Hopfenreich. Pour is gold with a small foamy head, aroma is strong fruity, mango, sweet, pine, light alcohol. Taste is malty, alcohol, fruity, chewy malty body. Very nice
4.1 [5449-20130601] Sample. Orange citrus flesh aroma. Slightly hazy, brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter lemon peel and orange bread flavour. Medium body. Quite tasty. (8/4/8/4/17) 4.1 (Mondial 2013, Montreal, QC)
3.8 BOTTLE 33CL from dcmchew. BB June 2014. Look: cloudy amber, off-white, creamy head. Aroma: hops - tart gooseberry, orange notes, with some sweet overtones, biscuit, a bit tannic. Taste: juicy and thick body, tart slightly puckering fruit like gooseberry or unripe quince, zest, some malt sweetness, pleasant light to moderate puckering bitterness. Though not so fresh, a rich, juicy and enjoyable beer nevertheless.
3.4 Bottle... Hazy golden pour with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Great retention. The nose is a fruity, piney medley of grapefruit, passionfruit and resin. Medium-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor drops a boatload of citrus rind bitterness on me - far more than expected. Crisp, moderately bitter finish.
3.7 75cl bottle shared with S&G tasting group. APPEARANCE: clouded blond beer, small stable off white head. NOSE: hoppy, fruity, nice. TASTE: hoppy, florar, fruity, nice!
3.5 Bottle - BBE date Sept 2014; Drank Jan 2014 - Very Hoppy; piney and grassy hops. Fruity; tropical fruits and some orange citrus. Spicy. Malty; sweet biscuity malts, caramel. Moderately bitter hoppy citrus fruity meets sweet malts. Dryish finish. Fairly subtle IPA; not aggressively hopped. Decent.
3.3 Bottle, 7.2%ABV Big, white head, golden, almost clear body. Medium, citrus aroma, after some time changed to something not pleasant, probably garlic. Aroma could be more complex. In taste beer is quite sweet but there is no proper bitter contrary. Bitterness is low and short. Strong carbonation. Nice, very drinkable beer, but bitterness and aromas could be stronger. My bottle was described as American Pale Ale.
3.3 Aroma is grass, citrus, and malt. Pours blonde and fizzy with a very shortlived head. Taste is light with grass notes, citrus, and slight lemon. Very understated and tame. Well made but not very remarkable.
3.6 Bottled 750ml@VWPBF Hazy orange color, small white head. Very exotic fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity, grapefruity bitterness. Fruity sweetness. Quite nice sweetish strong IPA.
3.7 This one poured a cloudy darker yellow color with a white head. Aroam was of floral and grassy hops and light grain. Flavor similar, lgihtly fruity and grassy. Pretty fresh IPA for coming from across the pond.
3.2 [20-OCT-2013] Draught at EurHop Beer Festival (EBF) 2013 in Rome. Pours yellow with a nice head, aroma of honey, orange, flavor is bitter with light acidity, medium bodied
3.1 [10/20/13] Draught at Eurhop Beer Festival 2013 in Rome. Clear deep golden. Aroma has some floral and citric hops, a bit of fruitiness and a bit of yeast. Flavor has a bit of sweetness, a bit malty, a bit fruity, with a mildly bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. OK.
3.5 Bottle - Flowery, mango hops on the nose. Clear copper with a thick rich head. A bit resinous and bitter up front with a long bitter finish. Hops are muted and tastes are a bit lost in the bitterness. Coming all the way from Italy this may be better fresh, but the nose is still pretty good.
2.2 Nass hopfig getreidiger Antrunk, laff. Süßer werdend, steigender grasiger Hopfen. Nicht neun Geschmack. 9/8/7/7//7
3.1 Yellow pour with a crazy gigantic white head. This reminds me of a white beer mixed with a pale ale. It didn’t taste bad at all but I would hardly call it an IPA.
4.3 Bottle. Aroma is full of citrus, a little bit of resin can be smelled too. This beer has very pleasant bitterness and generally is very drinkable due to its lightness. An IPA I’d love to drink everyday.
3.5 Appearance: deep marmalade orange, with one finger of quickly fading bright white soapy head. Aroma: peach, mango, grapefruit, mineral water, fruitcake. Taste: tropical/herbal bitterness up front, with a caramel graham cracker malt base that tries to balance. Finish: very dry, with notes of stone fruit and slightly resinous hops lingering in a slick palate base. Notes: Perfectly acceptable IPA. In color and aroma in particular it reminded me of Bells Two-Hearted IPA, which is of course a good thing. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club.
3.8 (Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with lasting off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with apricots, honey, tropical fruit, marmalade and fresh floral hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, apricots, pineapple, honey, grapefruit and fresh floral hops in a finish with a generous bitterness. Medium body, with a balanced sweetness. Fresh hops and a rounded malt character makes this quite tasty and well balanced. Very nice.
3.4 On tap at Global Brew. Pours a cloudy yellow/gold and a nice white head with lace. Citrus and sour aroma. Sweet pale malt taste with bread dough, citrus and an assertive hop bite. Good.
4.0 25/VIII/13 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 26/IV/14 (2013-806) Little cloudy orange to light amber beer, irregular off-white to yellow head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, citrus, grains, grapefruit,s ome exotic fruits. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, citrus, bit zesty, passion fruits, mango, some honey. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy, fruity, some mango, passion fruit, pineapple, a sweet touch and bitter grapefruit ending. Very nice brew, this one!
3.3 on tap @ La lanterna. Finale secco improvviso. Non molto corposa.
4.0 Bottle from GBBF 2013 and drunk at home. A very aromatic IPA, distinctive, good mouthfeel definitely. It is like putting your face in a bag full of hop flavours. Having spent the morning shovelling Cascades, this does have that authentic hop flavour aroma. Just a delightful drinkable IPA. Not in your face hops, but not lacking in hop character either, bitter on the finish certainly. Enough malts to backbone the hops but never too sweet either. That’s a pretty tremendous IPA I would say.
4.1 Nice amber colour. Hazy. Head is pretty and thick, persists very long. Beautiful fruity aroma. A little bit of citrus hops. In taste - strong bitterness is dominant but very enjoyable, which lasts for a long time. Average carbonation. Really great beer, but in a way, one-dimensional and predictable. But on the other hand, perfectly balanced.
3.1 Tasted this at the Fayetteville Foam Fest beer tasting. Somewhat flat on flavor. Some citrus and spice.
4.4 bardzo dobre i tresciwe chmielne IPa po wlosku. Region w Toskanii slynie z win, ale to nie przeszkadza im w tworzeniu swietnych piw. To aromatyczne i metne IPA jest szalowe. Z cala masa kwiatowych smakow chmielnych. Piana solidna i mocna. Polecam poznanie Toskanii od tej strony piwnej
