3.0Pint (5%) on tap on 3 Aug 2022 from Abbotsford Hotel, Ayr: weak grassy, herbal aroma, straw, frothy head, multiple streams of bubbles, weak citrus, grain flavour, plenty of fizz, dry finish.
2.0Leg at the Balaclava, Aberdeen. It pours clear gold / deep yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is damp grain, pretty sweet, sugary, rich tea biscuit and cheap white bread. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, slightly sharp, sweet sugary malt, biscuit, soda water, weak citrus, grain, splash of American soda and grass with a drying finish. Average body and high, massive foamy carbonation. It's all foam and blandness. What I can taste I don't really like... Thankfully it's soo cold it hides most things
2.3Kavos 19/7 2022. 33 cl can from Mini-Market in Kavos, Corfu. Red can in Amstel’s usual design with then name in elegant Greek letters.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a prominent sourish and slightly chemical scent. Sweet pale malts, glue and sour grains.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Macro lager which is not too sweet - but manages to be bitter in a rather unpleasant way.
2.3Can in Greece, in Greek, at least I'm pretty sure it's Amstel beer. ;-) drunk while cooking steak on Easter Saturday. Clear yellow amber, decent head. Cheap lager nose. Slightly malty grainy-caramelish flavor with nondescript hops bitterness. Yep it's Amstel!
2.0Aroma : Not much...Light caramel malt & straw. Taste : Thin watery body with flavours to match. Soft bitternes throughout. Dominant flavour is a very light maltiness. Better than the average Euro-Lager; but that's not saying much!
2.0500 ml can. Bought in argentina. Super fefreshing and soft. Very easy to drink, but disapointed from an international beet. Very boring guys, come on :(
2.4Cask at the Nelson. Aroma of grain, malts, hops and straw. Taste holds up well. Watery and carbonated. Easy to drink.
1.3640ml glass bottle from a local corner shop on Cricklewood Lane for £2.49. Dated as best before 31/12/2021. Served fridge cold into a stein.
On a side note the ingredients on the bottle I bought includes sugar.
The beer pours a medium dark straw colour with a one finger frothy head. The head dissipates to a patchy thin layer.
On the nose the beer is skunky, maybe some feint hints of grass and a herbal note.
In the mouth the beer is fairly unpleasant once it warms slightly. Skunk, artificial sweetness.
Overall, not a beer I was expecting much from. I’d only picked it up as it was very very thirsty and the shop in question had run out of still water. Definitely not one for me.
2.8Beer with yellow color, clear aspect, soft bitterness, soft carbonized, some foam on top (bought a 33 cl can beer at "SPAR", Leiden, NL #1243)(#6 NL)(#2 South Holland).
2.7330 bottle in Netherlands
Average euro pils with a bit more malt and richness. Still easy light and refreshing
2.3Bought at can in Greece, tastes of bitter hay and straw together with some sweet malts. Simple beer but decent overall.
2.8goed biertje voor casual bier drinken ja niks mis mee aanrader want hijs nie zo duur
2.1Definitely better than Heieneken, not an amazing beer, but can be drank pretty easily
2.5Clear yellow colour with white head. Smell of malt and hay. Taste of bitter malt, caramel and grass.
Tasted on Crete with my family.
2.6Aroma of straw, sweet hops and hay
Clear golden colour with short lasting head
Taste is straw, malt and hay
Medium carbonation with somewhat smooth oily mouthfeel

Tasted at helios hotel with family
2.0Bouteille 33cl couleur blonde dorée mousse blanche goût sans intérêt, basique, ressemble à une Heineken, une bière de soif
2.6Old
3.6whole box from online store. Smoother than heineken and it has a very fresh finish.
4.3Sweet beginning with traceable notes of malt and corn, goes down well with a strong bitter finish for a well ranked beer
5.0Amstel is the best!!
3.2Prima van tap
2.1Poor. No bitterness at all, overwhelming sweetness. Looks nice, but not good to drink.
2.5Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is light bread, corn, sweet syrup and hint of hops. Light, sweet basic cheap lager.
2.70,5 can from local store. Brewed by Heineken Serbia. Pale golden color with regular foam. Lightly carbonated. Fine balanced taste. Bit watery. Drinkable. Big minus because it contains corn. Missing more carbonation. One of the beers that would give you headache if you get drunk by drinking these. Nije loše al nije ni sjajno. Šta će kukuruz u pivu? Ukus pitak ali nije to to.
3.0the aroma: malty, floral, hints of grain, straw and some herbs...
the taste: malty, herbal, notes of grain, hay and some grasses...
the aftertaste: dry, bitter...
3.2Nice
4.0heerlijk en smaakvol bier, goed mondgevoel en ziet er oké uit. stevige kraag en helder gekleurd.
4.0Amstel Brewery is a Dutch brewery founded in 1870 on the Mauritskade in Amsterdam. It was taken over by Heineken International in 1968, and the brewing plant closed down in 1982, with production moving to the main Heineken plant at Zoeterwoude. A beautiful golden colour with a mildly bitter taste.
