2.1 Bottled. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Taste is clean, malty and sweet. Light and drikable
2.1 Can @ Home. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of bready malt, corn, grassy hops. Taste is malt, grassy hops, green apples, corn. Thin body, lively carbonation. 101011
2.6 Originally rated March 2006. Bought 2 for $3.00 (CND) at the Dépanneur Rapido in Aylmer, Quebec. Pours a clean golden colour with some dynamic carbonation. The fluffy white head is decent in size, has good long retention and leaves thick and uneven lacing. Average malt nose. Says ingredients are water, malted barley and hops, but I smell some corn. The mouthfeel is thin. At least it does not taste like corn. More like grass, like some of those German lagers. Nothing special, but not a bad brew... especially for the buck.
2.6 Rating #529, can from Rema1000 Medium appearance, light yellow and ok head. Aroma is fresh malts, spicy hops, but a bit indistinct. Quite standard pale lager taste, but very fresh, crisp and maybe more "clean" than a lot of other lagers. Light bitter finish, almost no sweetness. A refreshing lager. Medium palate.
2.0 CAn 500ml @ Geokkjer Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and yellow apples. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
2.0 Can.Pours pale yellow with a big white head.Aroma of yellow apples, malt and fruitiness.Flavor is sweet and somewhat grassy with some bitterness and fruitiness.Medium to thin body, average carbonation.
1.9 330 ml can in Niger. It is crazy what you can find at the little stands at every corner here. Could not see the pour had if from the can. The best part about this beer is its smooth and inoffensive approach to your mouth on a hot day. The worst part of it is its indistinctiveness. Moch harder to find than Heineken, this Holland import is actually as good if not better than Heineken, in my opinion. Not bad. Then again, not very memorable either.
1.5 toast, yellow, clear, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, flat, watery.
2.1 Yellow and clear. Has a white head, fully lasting. Faint bad aroma, odd citrus, faint rotten egg. Flavor starts light sweet and finish light bitter. Dry texture. Lively carbonation.
1.9 50 cl dåse. Bleg gylden hælde med et stort hvidt hovede. Aroma og smag noter af humle. Let drikkelig tørstslukker, smag og stil efter Heineken. DK-B-29,90
1.8 Pours clear yellow with a large head and some lacing. Nose shows dirty sweet stale malt with a hint of floral hops in the background. Flavours include sweet malt with definite corn and very little hops. Offensive but not too bold. Carbonation is just a little too high.
1.8 Clear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of cooked vegetables, malt, bread, weak sweets and hops. A flavor of wet bread, hops, cooked vegetables and a weak bitternes in the finish.
2.7 Fra dåse, duft af pilsner, humle, smagen er lidt blødere en alm pilsner som tuborg og hof, fylde er som en pilsner lidt flad, i alt en ok pilsner. ikke en jeg vil køre efter ! ....
1.8 Can. Pours clear yellow with a big white head. The aroma is grain, light fruit, ligth caramel and some hops. The flavour is cereal, grain, light plastic and some hops.
1.5 Can.Clear golden colour with off-white head.Aroma is gassy with taste of malt and metal, feels like a real discount type of beer thi and watery with not much taste.
2.2 50cl can bought at a night shop. ABV 4.8%. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, light malty, corn syrup, light hoppy. Bit more skunk when it warms up. Flavour is sweet, malty, corn again, light fruity, light bitter finish. Light bodied. Not that bad.
1.4 Bottle. Poured a clear, deep yellow with a decent, white head that had okay retention and no lace. Aroma of apple sauce. Taste was old candy corn up front and then finishes with bland seltzer water. Watery palate.
0.9 tall can. dull and watery, most of the flavour comes from the can itself from what i gather.
1.3 Pale yellow color. Nose and taste is just nasty corn water and grass. Rated 6/20/02
1.8 Can. Gold, frothy white head. Nose of corn and metal. Watery. Dull sweetness with some metal. Cheap.
2.2 Can. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops.
1.5 50cl can, local store. Pale golden color with a diminishing thin head. Grassy malt aroma. Light and quite sweet flavor, metal taste in my mouth. Drinkable if very thirsty, but I think I would prefer water over this one.
2.1 Dai una lager molto stupida però per quel che prometteva neanche troppo schifosa; nonostante inoltre la lattina. Terribilmente dolce, ma non vomitevole; una eurolager stupida.
2.0 Bottle in Cayman Islands. Pours a pale golden with a small frothy white head that diminishes rather quickly. The aroma is wheat grass malt aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a sour grain taste and metallic finish. Not much going on with this one.
2.1 24 500 ml cans for $40! I was in like Flynn! Smelled like cheap Dutch lager, with added metal. Tasted like cheap Dutch lager, with added metal. That probably make it sound worse than it is, thankfully it’s not remotely offensive, I’ve had worse from most Australian macros. Gets worse as it warms up, you start to notice that typical cheap lager filtered piss sort of taste. Not a good beer, but is excellent for the price. Buy it if you’re broke and desperately want to get drunk, or better yet, buy a slab to take to a party full of people who don’t know good beer from piss, they’ll think you’re a legend!
2.0 330 ml can. 4.8%. From Tallinn, Estonia. Clear golden colour with small white head. Aroma is quite sour with some fruitiness. Grassy, a bit earthy and malty flavour. Nothing very interesting. Quite drinkable but boring.
2.4 yellow with huge fluffy head, aroma of cheese sourness some banana yeast and some dark fruit (not bad), flavor is of toasted bread some grass and some soil, finish is mettalic and bitter. OK
2.5 Medium coarseish white head quickly shrinks. Paleish yellow body with light carbonation. Light fruity grainy aroma with corn notes. Dryish-sweetish grainy corn taste with bready notes. Mid-to-thin body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry bitterish papery corn aftertaste. Bland, bitter cardboard taste lingers. Bland, boring, drinkable. (0.5l can, Duke’s, Victoria, Gozo.)
1.9 Spicy, sour and dry plus a high metallic bitter finish. Need I say more? Well, at least they bothered to keep some malt taste in. Wonder how the fuit and spice complexions are to fit in? Just complicates this brew further. By the way, the hops suck. It’s a schizophrenic beer. However, it’s quite "rich" and medium bodied - if that’s what you are looking for. Not nearly the worst of beers notwithstanding my views.
2.7 A golden lager with a thick collapsing white head. A rather grassy malt aroma. In mouth, a crisp lager with light german hopping, short in mouth, but refreshing. 330 l can bought at Carrefour, Girardot, Colombia, 3300 COP (1.65$).
