4.0 At a tasting, many thanks, small fizzy bubbly head, opaque black color, aroma of roasted coffee beans, coal, vanila and a hint of chillie, quite aromatic, flavor of dark chocolate, light roasted coffee and mud with fruity and nutty hints, light noticable sourness, sweetness and mellow bitterness, nicely balanced. Really nice and enjoyable.

3.7 Can. Dark, almost black cola body, creamy off white head. Fantastic, full, complex coffee aroma pierced with chocolate, very mild caramel. Wow! Lighter taste, coffee, smooth, ending dry, quite elegant, somewhat creamy, but ending just a tad too dry. A nice stout indeed, shame the body didn't follow the aroma more.

3.8 Tasted this in Blackfriers, Glasgow on the 24th August 2018. Cask, handpump dispense. Dull black in colour with a thin open pale buff head which fades fast. Strong malty aroma with roast coffee beans clear on the long nose. Thick creamy mouthfeel and poor lacing. Dark malt complex gives a maltloaf base with a roast malt grain flavour leading to notes of fig and dark plum fruit and Bournville . There is a vague suggestion of hop resins in the short bitter aftertaste but this tend to fade away. Finish is very smooth and malty with roast coffee, Bournville chocolate, molasses and prunes. This is a smooth and rich complex stout, full of flavour and one to savour as the strength is well disguised.
Chiude sull'amaro. Carbonazione media.
3.8 Darkest brown off white head, gritty coffee nose taste roast coffee hint of pactose but the coffee dominates
3.6 Tap at Røør. Nose is chocolate, coffee, dark bread. Palate is bitter chocolate, coffee, dried fruit, orange finish. Good stout.
3.6 Black with medium brown head. Aroma is espresso green leaves dark milk chocolate. Taste is roasty coffee much sour leaves with bitter coffee finish. Roasty finish. A bit too sour. Ok.
3.7 Tap. Black color with large creamy beige head. Aroma is beautiful coffee aromatics, milk chocolate. Taste is mild and balanced coffee, milk chocolate, super balanaced. You notice it has used a good coffee, but it also has a verx slight tartness that doesn't fit in there. High but fine-bubbled carbonation. Very well-made, good one; but somehow over time, the tartness becomes more prominent and the drinkability decreases.
3.6 Tap. Darkest brown, brown cream, coffee aroma, light chocolate. Medium full body, dark chocolate, roast, light umami and salt, pleasant roast, Sandcake malt. Dry dark chocolate and coffee finish. Sour on the palate afterwards.

3.8 330ml can served in an ordinary glass. Pous a black opaque color forming a thin and creamy big beige head with good retention and some lingering lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is sweet and roasted. Strong notes of roasted malts, chocolate and grass. Slightly sweet upfront taste that becomes quickly grassy and bitter. Good bitterness. Strong notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, Oreo, coffee and grassy hops. Milky hints. Very creamy full body. Medium to low carbonation. Chocolate malts, coffee and grassy hops in the afteraste. Great drinkability. Great Stout.
