A quaffable, well-balanced red ale with character. Its malty complexity and coppery color come from a combination of two caramel malts, pale malt, and a hint of maple syrup.

3.7Bottle, 355 ml, courtesy of Miro B. Shared with him and JFK10000. Pours orange, beige head. Caramel malty, bready, bit piney, citrus. Sweet, but not as much as I expected. Bitterish finish, medium bodied.
3.3nice red color; malty aroma - caramel notes and hints of maple; bready malt with maple and caramel notes and some citrusy hops; maple is fairly subtle - just hints, mostly bready mal
3.5(Orange and lemon?) hops on nose; all about the sweetness and the caramel malt; not badly balanced though; thicker and better consistency – but perhaps little too sweet compared to – the Meantime Yakima Red I had earlier today.
4.0Bottle. Sweet citrus and caramel aroma. Pours amber in colour with a large and frothy off-white head. Flavours of toffee, caramel with a hint of maple nicely balanced with some citrus bitterness. Medium bodied with a long bitter finish. Very good.
4.1Pours a dark amber with a foamy, long-lasting white head. Aroma is pine hops, resin, and caramel malts. Flavor is pretty much the same. I don’t get any maple. The beer has a light bitterness. Much hoppier than I expected, and I am pleasantly surprised by this.
3.5Quite impressed with this amber. Very hoppy and somewhat sweet pours reddish brown with a thick tan head. Had from a bottle
2.8Bottle from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: clear brown amber beer with small carbonation and small white foam. Smell: resin and pine hops domination. Caramel malt and small maple finish. Taste: medium body with high resin and pine hoppy attack. Sweet notes with caramel malt. Very high resin taste. Not so drinkable. Aftertaste: high bitterness and resin.
4.10.33cl bottle. Pours reddish amber color, with a creamy beige head. Aroma is fruity (peaches,), malty with notes of caramel/toffee and maple syrup. Taste is slightly caramelish and bready with malty finish Medium body, moderate sweetness. Overall: loved that slight maple syrup touch and combined balance, well done
3.7Bujna, drobnoprzęcherzykowa piana, barwa bursztynowa. Wspaniały ciasteczkowy aromat, dużo brzoskwini, ciasta marchewkowego, w tle syrop klonowy. W smaku fajnie zbalansowane, pierwsze nuty to biszkopty, karmel, rodzynki, tuż za nadciąga fala amerykańskich chmieli: grejpfrut, cytryna, tropiki. Piwo wraz z ogrzaniem staje się coraz lepsze, ogółem jestem zadowolony, spodziewałem się czegoś takiego.
3.6Bottle 35.5cl. Poured into a stem glass. Slightly unclear medium amber, tall and thick frothy tan head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing; aroma roasted malts, maple syrup, caramel, pine, nutty notes; taste is medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, toffee, citrusy bitter hops, bit metallic impression, with long duration, dry bitter finish, maple syrup and spicy notes; medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation; nice.
3.5Hazy orange color with small head. Aroma is yeast, hops, caramel. Flavor is malt, caramel, fruity, bitter sweet finish. Well balanced solid beer.
3.5Bottle from firma bier. Hazy copper color. Thin medium white head. Light medium sweet, medium bitter. Aroma is malty, herby, grassy, woody.
3.4355 ml bottle @ Timo A. BBE 07/2017.
Pours clear mahogany color with a small head. Pine and resin on the aroma, syrupy, caramel malts and some orange. Flavor is caramel malts and orange, bitter notes, subtle syrup sweetness, some cardboard notes on the background, quite faint though. Decent, though not my favorite style.

3.4(bottle) clear, very bright orange amber colour with a tall beige head; aroma of citrus then stewed fruit; balanced flavour with a long, medium bitter finish
4.1Cobreada, límpida. Espuma abundante e persistente, bege.
4.0Pours a clear amber beer with a small beige head.
Smells of hops, pine, malts, red fruit.
Tastes bitter.
Leaves a hoppy palate with a hint of malt sweetness.
Great beer!
3.2Bue en bouteille de 355ml. Couleur ambrée orangée, nez quasiment absent. Palais malté, légèrement fruité. Notes de caramel en finale. Légère et agréable mais manque de corps.
3.4Medium to good yellowish cream head over faintly veiled amber beer. Aromatic, grapey hops, caramel, bit of oxydation. Generally smelling sweet. Bitter, leafy and metallic. Preciously little sweetness in the mouth, although some malt shines through. Resin. Slick, resiny-oily feel. Metallic tang also contributes to the texture. Well carbonated if nowhere fizzy. Certainly not bad, I’m just a bit put off by the way the nose stands perpendicular on the taste.
Cuerpo medio algo espumoso y ligeramente denso. Bastante buena.
3.2Bottle. Nice rich copper color, large frothy off white head. Pine cone and malt aroma. Light body with a sweet malt flavor and a medium finish that has a little hop twist.
2.5Allegedly there is maple syrup flavor in this beer. Prepare your taste buds for something more like a red IPA. Pretty hoppy, minimal watery malt flavor, and a tablespoon of maple syrup for the entire kettle.
3.9355mL bottle BBE: 10.2016. Lightly chilled. Pours an auburn body with deep haze and a medium, tight off-white head. Medium-light intensity nose of maple syrup, vanilla, onion, earthiness, rose, papaya and a slight cat litter-tray aroma. A light sweetness is lifted by a more moderate bitterness on the tongue. The medium-full body has a ticklish texture and medium carbonation, with hints of fennel seed in the herbal finish. A beer that keeps on giving, with more aromas and flavours emerging as the beer heats up. Amazingly complex for an amber.
3.2Bottle. Pours copper with a thick off-white head. Aroma of caramel, pine and citrus. Flavor of caramel, fruit, citrus, pine, subtle maple and had some nuttiness.
3.9Geproefd tijdens bierproeverij, uitgeschonken in Struise BD glaasje.
3.2Where and how: tasting, bottle 355ml
Aroma: frontal tartness followed by maple sugars. Fuller softer herbal finish.
Appearance :
Top: very large, off-white lasting creamy crown.
Base: amber, clear
Palate : medium bodied, soft with soft carbonation and long finish.
Taste: it does feel a bit heavy, bit raw with its green harsh hop side. It does improve as it warms up.
other notes interesting but not to my liking.
3.6Shared bottle. Pours is cloudy amber with thick white head that doesn’t last long, fair lacing. Aroma of caramel, pine, resin, maple, sirupy. Taste is light to moderate sweet, moderate bitter, caramel and resin notes. Light body, thick texture, dry, abrupt finish. Aroma is quite promising, but a lack of body was a bit disappointing, anyway good, extraordinary amber ale.
3.3Pours a fairly clear amber with a large dense white head. Aromas of malt and maple with a touch of sweetness. Just about medium-bodied, a little bit sweet and malty with a tangy touch of maple. Soft spices with a bit of yeast into a fairly dry finish
