4.1 One of the best pale ales one can drink. Excellent smell of pine, caramel taste with balanced carbonation and moderate bitter aftertaste.
3.7 Early rating from Beer Buddy app
3.7 33 cl bottle served in a snifter. Poured clear Amber with two finger off White head. Aroma: grassy hops, caramel, peach, vanilla, citrus, pineapple, orange peel. Taste: Orange peel, caramel, citrus, bitter grassy hops, vanilla, grapefruit, pineapple, Pine. Medium body with bittersweet hoppy finish. Nice!
3.0 Lighter amber with no bubbles Sweet malt, slight spice, starinise, not very pronounced, slight pine. Creamy, hoppy, herbal tea, slight citrus, very slight burn.
3.5 Drunk at Varnavas with my fellow beer analyst @zambon who is inactive on the site. Great pale ale though I'm not a pale ale fan
4.1 Clear golden/light amber pour, small white head but excellent retention. Aroma is like nothing I have experienced before, very hoppy, malt, flora, candy, stone fruits is the best I can describe but doesn't really touch it. Intriguing. Taste is sweet malts, again very hoppy, with the stone fruits, a bit yeasty and flavoursome. Moderate body and a lovely soft carbonation. Excellent.
3.7 16-08-2020; bottle; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their July 2020 discovery box). The looks of the beer are nice. Golden yellow brew that is crystal clear. On top a thick layer of frothy slightly off-white foam is formed. Foam retention is quite good. The aroma of the beer is nice. The malts give a nice biscuit aroma, with touches of caramel. The hops are interesting. It has a floral bouquet, but there is also lychee, some more stone fruit and some pine. It is new world hops, with kind of a rustic traditional feel. Yeast gives some fruity aromas too. The taste of the beer is nice. Quite some sweet malts are balanced by bitter hops, with some fruity sours. Well balanced. The palate is good. Medium body, smooth texture and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer has some nice stone fruit and pine hops. All in all, a very nice beer. Very rustic and traditional feel, yet refreshing at the same time.
2.8 Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is malt and some exotic fruit. Taste has some very curious, exotic twist, gentle bitterness.
3.2 330 ml bottle. Ipa hoppy smell, nice golden color. Taste is herbal, kind of ment in there. Very old school. Decent.
3.6 Cloudy orange colour, full bodied, citrusy hops, great lager.
4.1 Bouteille de forme originale, étiquette américaine sympa. Degustée en bouteille. Nez franc de levure. Bouche amère et épicée. Très bonne.
3.4 Bottle at home, isolation beer #11. Pours orangeish, copperish golden with long lasting off-white head. Nose is pine, malts, citrus peels, slight oxidization. Taste is moderately bitter, somewhat sweet notes of resinous and citrusy hops, bready malts and honey. Bittersweet finish, ligh body, average carbonation. Not the freshest bottle, but still pretty decent.
2.0 Hazy dark yellow, visibly carbonated. No head. Hops, citrus, yeast in the bouquet. Sour bitter, hops, apple. Turns to cilantro, lemongrass, bitter. Strong bitter finish, dry. Not my type of beer but tasty in its own right.
3.2 C: pale amber N: malt, oranges, hard candy P: very malty, hoppy, oranges, hard candy, slightly vegetal, grassy.
3.5 Slightly orange pour. Bitter, very bitter but still refreshing and light. Clean, proper bitter ipa
2.8 Malty amber ale.
4.6 Six-pack received as a birthday present - cloudy orange appearance, with citrus aromas. Taste delivers similar fruits, with a touch of sweetness. Lovely drop.
2.7 Buena, amarga, y ligera.
3.9 355 ml bottle. Clear golden to amber colour, medium head with good durability, fair lacing, lively carbonation. Nose is hoppy, grass, light pine, citrus fruit. Flavour starts rather malty, medium sweetness, followed by a well balanced bitterness with notes from bread and hop. Very good!
3.5 Fles. Wazig blond bier met wit schuim. Geur: mout, wat floraal, fruitig. Smaak: licht hopbitter, fruitig, sinaasappel, sinaasappel zeste, wat tropisch fruit. Medium koolzuurprikkel.
4.2 Belle couleur abricot. 355 ML WINE and Beer Roscoff
3.6 Pours to a slightly hazy straw yellow with a finger thick persistent head. Nice sweet malty nose with caramel or toffee notes, hint of orange peel. Very aley taste in the mouth, yeast forward almost. Lingering hoppy aftertaste, slightly soapy astringent. Ok
Textura acuosa y ligeramente oleosa. Carbonatación media aunque chispeante.
3.5 Una APA de espuma frondosa y abundante. Color anaranjado con tintes miel y numerosas burbujas. Aromas a lúpulo, levadura, cebada, cáscara de 🍊, efervescente de naranja, miel, cuezco de durazno, Sabor ligero, persistente, retrogusto amargo, balsámico y sedoso de pomelo rosado, hierbas silvestres, cebada, cuezco de durazno, ruda,
3.7 Pours a clear golden orange on tap with bubbly white foam that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of nice cascade pithy citrus notes over pale and caramel malts. Taste follows, meaning more towards a current American pale ale than an IPA, but I respect its history. I'm sure in 1975 this was amazing, nowadays it's decent and well done for what it is.
