Anderson Valley Highway 128 Blood Orange Gose

Anderson Valley Highway 128 Blood Orange Gose

Our Blood Orange Gose is a tart, refreshing wheat ale that is kettle-soured with lactobacillus and brewed with sea salt and coriander. However, unlike traditional versions of the style, ours features liberal additions of blood oranges during fermentation. This imparts tangy citrus notes that complement the champagne-like flavors, creating a complex and sessionable ale perfect for any occasion.

3.2 Can at Fire Works Pizza, Leesburg VA 25/11/2018. Deep gold in colour, with moderate carbonation and a slight, white, head. Light citrus character, some tartness, yeast fruits, hint of green herbs leading to a tangy finish. Good.
4.0 Pours pretty hazy orange colour, topped with medium sized and completely nonlasting white head. Grape aroma, some vinous notes and spices (coriander). Puckery sourness with some sweet fruitiness and quite salty finish. Medium light body. Very fresh and very nice.
3.4 Zapach: typowy dla Gose kamieniczny słony zapach, pomarańcze, cytrusy w tle, kwaśne jabłko papierówka, prosty choć umiarkowanie intensywny i raczej zachęcający.
3.8 Slightly orange with medium white 5. Hint of sourness aroma. Moderate sour and mildly salted taste, sourness probably of oranges. However pleasant and nicely balanced.
3.6 30cl can. Aroma: dank. Appearance orange no head. Taste sour almost like a gueze. Palate: almost flat beer but not in a bad way. Overall I would liked to taste more of the blood orange.
3.7 Salt, gose, tarty and fruity. Hardcore orange color, extremely foamy when pouring, but dies right away. Sour tarty taste, salty and fruity. Thin body, soft carbonation. Top! //can from Pivoteka
3.6 Can. Clear gold color with a nice white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is orange citrus. The taste is both bitter and salty. Very tart finish.
3.0 resin, floral, grass, spruce, citrus, herbs, pale, golden, amber, orange, clear, hazy, cloudy, sparkling, rocky head, frothy, minimal head, white foam, tan foam, light sweetness, medium sweetness, heavy cloying sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, medium sourness, heavily sour,
3.2 My love affair with citrus in beers continues... only it is a sour one this time. Well done with enough salty notes to mix well with the fruit.
3.2 萊姆、鹽香氣,前段、中段、尾韻皆有微微優格味,舌根酸勁足,有鹹味但不突出。
3.9 Can from Hops and Crafts Exeter. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a white head . Aroma of blood orange, salt, lemon, lime & biscuity malt . Taste juicy blood orange, salt ,a bit of sourness plus a little wheat cracker. Light bodied & nicely carbonated. The finish is dry, salty & tangy with more blood orange & crisp biscuity malt to balance. Nice one !
3.2 Clear golden appearance with quickly disappearing head. Mild orange and wheat aroma. Medium carbonation. Big sour notes up front. Tart citrus - orange and lemon. Lightly salted with weighty malt backbone - reminiscent of pretzels!
3.5 Blik 33cl gedeeld tijdens Kannen en Kruiken festival Amersfoort. Zuurtje, citrus, bloedsinaasappel, droog, zouttonen, wat dun, champagne. (8-2017).
5.0 Yum! Refreshing and light but packs a punch of sour flavor. Like this one a lot!
2.8 Takeout from 134 Club, Nuneaton, February 2017. Dusty blonde with a low white head. Aroma of wheat tartness, old lime juice, Asti cork, spruce. Pleasantly tart and isotonic-like with lime, mineral and honey splashes. Zero blood orange flavour. Encrusted old honey in the nose. Gently puckering with pipettes of lactic. OK.
2.4 Sampler from tap at Stadsbrouwhuis. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma is sour, wheat, some lemon, hint of orange, aspartame, Sinaspril. Flavour is tart, light lemon, Sinaspril, sour finish. Light bodied.
3.8 Clear pinkish gold color, small off white head. Subtle aroma of orange, lemon, and peach. Mildly tart, crisp, and light bodied. Short, indistinct finish.
2.7 Can, January 2017. Citric, lactic, light sour. The orange makes an artificial impression, which pushes this beer dangerously close to corporate radler territory. Not impressed but does its job as a straightforward thirst-quencher.
3.4 0.33 l can shared at a drinking session with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran in the summer of 2017. Thanks! Hazy golden, minimal head. Orange, candy, acidic aromas. Fairly sour, lightly salty. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, lightly fruity finish.
3.4 Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Pale straw-yellow coloured with no head. It has a tart orange and citrus flavour with salty notes and a bitter-sweet orange and sour fruity finish. Good.
3.3 Can at home. Pours golden color, white head. Aroma of orange, citrusy. Taste is medium sour, lightly salty, lightly sweet, orange, tangerines.
1.0 Aroma: Smells like a cheap beer. Appearance. No head. Looks like a coors light. Taste. Seriously takes like vomit. A very puke-like taste. I did tame it to be drinkable by adding some vanilla extract. Palate. Light. Biting sour. The vomit taste is overwhelming. Overall. Terrible. This may have been a bad batch, but this is disgusting if its not. I like sours (e.g. duchesse ) but this. Wow. Just bad.
3.7 Can. Misty golden ale. Modest white head of low retention. Salty and spicy nose. Restrained fruit. Light body. Light sour taste. Salt, wheat, spice. Low bitterness. No any orange. Just a perfect gose.
3.9 Hazy golden. Aroma is wheat, lemon peel, blood orange indeed, pretzel maybe. Taste is very refreshing sourness. Nice mouthfeel. Lots of small bubbles. I like it.
3.7 (can) hazy deep golden colour with a small white head. aroma of ahoi brause, orange peel and wheat, with some notes of floral hops and lemon juice. flavour is mostly wheat and more orange peel, with a very light touch of salted popcorn, some kiwi skins and a semi-tart lemony finish. light- to medium-bodied with lively carbonation.
3.2 Can. Cloudy, light grey yellow, grey lace. Salty, iodine, Citruspeel. Very dry, foamy mouthfeel. Bubbly wheat with a salt crust, light candied orange. Perfumed finish. Light sticky gluten finish.
3.6 Can. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is salty, wheat, dough, blood orange. Taste is wheat, blood orange, salty. Fizzy carbonation. Solid Gose!
3.8 Dark straw tending toward pale honey color. Fruity aroma with some orange. The taste isn’t super spectalular but it has the requisite sour punch with the Gose salt finish. Pours with a nice head but it quickly disipates to a lifeless beer.
3.2 Can. Almost clear golden with a small, fast disappearing white head. Fruity mineral aroma. Flavor is refreshing fruity, light acidic, some minerals, can't really find any oranges here. A bit plain and one dimensional but still a decent thirst quencher.
