Anderson Valley Highway 128 The Kimmie, The Yink, and the Holy Gose

Anderson Valley Highway 128 The Kimmie, The Yink, and the Holy Gose

The refreshing tartness in this divine, bright golden-colored ale gives way to earthy undertones and hints of citrus followed by a slight sea salt-like dryness and tangy, effervescent finish.

3.4 Can from the Grumpy Goat, Reading. Deep gold with a negligible white head and a rather prickly fizz. Tart up front with a little earth and light salt, then the body fills out with a pleasant lemon and lime flavour. Mildly dry finish. Decent.
0.9 Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel bier met weinig schuim. Weinig aroma. Smaak is zuur en niet lekker.
0.8 Fles gedeelt met Inoven, tot mijn spijt. Droge zure gootsteen rommel. Valt me ontzettend tegen van deze brouwer.
2.3 blik, helder gouden, prikkelende licht en kraagloos. aroma en smaken van zout, zuurtje, dun, redelijk zoet, zacht, nee dit is totaal niet mijn ding
3.6 Heavy salt, light pepper and spices in aroma, some lactose. Hazy golden color with small sized white head. Taste of lemony sourness, lactose and salt. Thin body, heavy carbonation. //can from Pivoteka

2.9 鹽味、蘭姆味,後段酸勁足
3.4 Draft from backlog notes (2014). Pours an average golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor were standard for the style, pale wheat malts, citrus, salt, decent but I won't revisit this.
3.3 Bottle. Cloudy yellow-orange body, no head. Tart, salty nose, with vinegar and wheat. Thin body with a prominent tart bite; lemony and biscuity with hints of band-aid and salt, a bit like a margarita with a salted rim. Interesting beer.
3.5 lekkere citrussmaken. Heerlijk bij een toastje met zalm.
2.9 Pale lemon appearance with no head. Lively sour aroma. Medium-high carbonation. Tart/sour lemon flavours up front, yeast and light malt in the background. Salty dry finish.
3.0 Blik 33cl thuis. Licht hoppig, wrang, zuur, droog, citroen achtig. Wat champagne achtig. Fris . (7-2015).
3.2 Canned, 330 ml, courtesy of Max. Shared with him and JFK10000. Pours almost clear golden, small white head. Light bodied, salty, lemon. Light carbonation. Bit watery and bland. Light to moderate sourness.
2.1 Can - alas I keep thinking about Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose as I quaff this.... this ain’t in the same dimension flavour-wise... lacks personality and is watery even by Gose standards - meh.
3.7 Very well made gose, clean and medium-high sour. Flavourful and very worth drinking again. Cafe gollem amstelatrat
3.7 #1898 Tap. Almost clear, golden, minimal white head. Amazing sour aroma, dough, yeast, fruity tones, malt. Taate is pleasantly sour, touch of sweetness and saltiness. Gooseberries, malts, yeast, hay, cherries. Medium body, high carbonation. Very well crafted, clean.
3.7 Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Clear, straw colored. AROMA- flowery, cherries, hay, sour. FLAVOR- very clean, sour, a bit salty, hay, touch of sour cherries. Light to medium bodied Very good.
3.9 Nice white short lasting foam. Light gold color. Smell is very light, no traces of something specific (at least to me), I was assuming the taste would be similar - dull BUT the taste is full, sour. It is a bit more sour than I would expect for gose, which is exactly my thing! I love sour beers. Salt is at the very end of the taste, lightly. Nice interesting beer.
3.5 Sour and... maybe a little thin- expected a little more heft and some more in depth flavors but it is a solid gose- certainly drinkable- nice little offering but doesn’t jump off the table
3.6 Solid gose style beer that is true to the style with citrus and salt flavor. Moderately sour with subtle sweetness underneath.
3.8 Crisp finish on a straightforward gose without much left to desire. Good all day dinking for those who enjoy sours
3.1 Bottle from 100 piv. Vona nevyrazna. Farba priesvitna zlta. Chut extremne kysla az slana.
3.3 Can, January 2017. Tart, lemony, lacto-ridden beer with a dry finish. More a berliner than a gose but very tasty nonetheless.
