It is produced from nectar honey of delicate flavour. 1 litre of mead contains 610 g of natural honey. Its long maturation period ensures unique flavour and aroma. Dwójniak contains 16% of alcohol. The content of carefully selected spices ensures a distinct flavour and aroma. This mead is produced with the addition of blackcurrant juice.

3.8 Ceramic bottle from Jeremy. Red wine like pour. Aroma is both sweet and strong. Honey. Fruit, raspberries.

3.7 Apis Miody Pitne - Miód Pitny Dwójnik Kurpiowski Alkohol: 16 % obj. Butelka: 250 ml Kolor różowo-bursztynowy. Pod światło patrząc całkowicie klarowne. W aromacie nuty czerwonego wina, dalej już miód i odrobina kwiatów. Czuć lekko wytrawny charakter. Zapach nie jest tak słodki jak bym się tego spodziewał. Smak jest wynagradza delikatne uchybienia aromatu. Jest słodki, wyklejający, mocno miody, tylko minimalnie kwiatowy. Dużo słodkich winogronowych niuansów i leciutkie porzeczkowe posmaki. Po kilu łykach czuć rozgrzewający alkohol. Dobry z plusikiem 🙂

3.4 Bottle sample. Thanks zvsn! Clear golden with no head. The aroma has notes of honey, alcohol, port wine, wood, some spiciness and some fruitiness. The flavor is very sweet with notes of honey, alcohol, silky and oily, wood, kind of Choya, apricot, some spiciness. Full-bodied.

4.0 750mL corked bottle. Darker color but clear. Aroma is very different from the crappier polish meads. Thick and earthy with light floraliness. Flavor is similar with sweetness that's very restrained. Light finish with deity sweetness. Lovely.

3.9 Raspberry color, clear. In aroma sweet honney notes with some berries. In taste little tanic, flavour of wine, gentle touch of soury raspberry and cranberry, little bit throat warming and smooth.

3.9 0.25 bottle @ home Herbal and marzipan on the nose. Taste is in the upper ranges of sweetness but not necessarily cloying yet. Alcohol is a tad too prominent, though in an acceptable way. Malty, barley-wine, and marzipan flavors towards the end. Messy, full, thick. Not bad.

3.4 Honey, booze, some flowers and forest fruits in nose. Pours copper, clear. Taste is sweet with honey, flowers, cherries and alcohol. Finish is slighlty sour with forest fruit notes, oily texture. Overall decent, however I am not a mead drinker.

4.2 Bottle at Pasieka, pours a clear pale copper. Aroma is decadent, with lots of nectar, bees wax, and lovely sweet honey notes. Flavour is incredible, with intense honey sweetness, some bees wax, lots of alcohol, and syrupy notes. Intensely sweet without being cloying. The alcohol counterbalances the sweetness beautifully. Decadent.

3.6 Poured a medium brown color with good viscocity. The aroma was tannin and blackberry. The flavor was tart with notes of grape, blackberry and prune. Long finish with growing booziness. Full bodied.

4.1 Bottle from trade with Jashiu, cheers! The aroma is a bit hard to describe. A bit musty I guess, but not offensive at all. Taste is just awesome. Sweet, syruppy and full bodied, with honey, fruit, toffee, and notes of cinnamon and mint. Yum!

3.9 We enjoyed this small 0,25 liter bottle heated. Pours clear amber with no head. Aroma is spices and honey. Flavour is very sweet, honey and berries.

3.8 Aroma sweet & slightly tart, but I wouldn't call currants if I didn't see them in the description. In taste obviously sweet, there is a touch of fruity sourness but rather minimal, mostly just regular acidity of mead. Very smooth, balanced, though alcohol flavor is noticeable after a few sips. That does impart it a boozey feeling, without it, the mead would be top-notch, it's nevertheless still very nice.

Suutuntuma alkoholinen, pehmeän liukas, supermakea, tahmea, raikas, lämmittävä, virkistävä. Hieno pehmeä ja nautittava mead, joskin ei mikään superaromikas tai kompleksinen.

4.3 Bottle. Hazy reddish color with no head. Aroma is honey, flowery, nutty, woody, berries. Taste is honey, tannic, woody, flowery, the right amount of fruity blackcurrant. Oily viscous mouthfeel. Super-deep and awesome, with an amazing balance to it!

4.0 Bottle, at SinH4-5K-MoritzF-10K tasting. Pours almost clear rather light brown. Aroma is honey, flowers, lawn. Body is heavy, sweet and intense, yet with a great balance. Some booze, lots of honey, but also flowers and jam, and nothing takes the cake on its own. Good!

4.0 Bottle, nose is is chestnut, honey, blueberries. Palate is blueberries, blackcurrant, raspberry, honey. Very good.

4.2 Hazy red. Aroma is clove, phenols, honey cristals, dark berries, a hint of chili. Taste is spicy and nice honey sweetness. So soothing and smooth. Some deep smoky flavours. Incredible.
