3.1Almost clear golden color with white head. Aroma has sweet malt, white bread and a hint of honey. Taste leans also on the sweet side with bread notes and a light hop astringency on the finish. Light to medium body with medium carbonation and dry feel. Overall it's a decent malt forward lager.

3.7En rigtig tysk øl. Let syrlig, næsten ingen humle. Lidt for let i den efter min smag

3.1330 ml bottle, just purchased but (now I see) some months past the BB date on the label of 8/2015. Served in a lager glass. It’s past date but certainly not bad and had retained plenty of carbonation. Pours hazy golden with a tall, fluffy white head that has excellent retention. A bit of sediment-laden liquid left in the bottle.
Aroma: more hops than malts, with a earthy and slightly skunky Euro hop aromas dominating.
Flavor: mild mix of light baked bread and light hops.
Overall: promising but likely past prime; will revisit with a fresh sample if I get the chance -- meanwhile, I’ve made a very slight compensation for this in the ratings.
2.3Pours a slightly hazy light, pale golden color. More yellowish than gold I’d say. Aroma is of malts, yeast, clove, metal, and something sweet. Bubbly palate. Flavor is of malts, metallic, slight skunk, hops, rye, bitter esters. Leaves a bitter metallic malt finish. Nothing special. Another "beer style" to check off the list.
