4.3 Lightly light with hints of fond memories had sitting in my local field. The glass reminds me of the 1967 Mortonhall Crematorium that I’ve only recently had the opportunity to view. Pleasant on the tongue and the glass. Sainsbury’s, top shelf.
3.7 Bottle. Zlata farba, vyrazna nasytenost. Vona zelenych jablk, postruhana jablkova duzina, pikantne, bylinky. Chut kyselkava, jablkova, pikantna, mierne tymian v dochuti.
3.3 # 1593; 10/2019. Brilliant, gold. Floral and spicy aroma. Taste is dry, bitter-sweet, apples, spicy. Fresh, drinkable. Higher acidity, medium body. Wine-like, dry cider. 0,5 l bottle, eshop, Prague.
0.6 Always loved A spell but this Premier Cry tastes like vinegar. A spell make vinegar. Have they mixed up?. Awful
3.0 27Jul2019 Sweet apple, apple jam, sugars. Clear, pale gold, small, frothy, white head. Light sweet. More bitter, sour apple, apple sparkling water, appletizer, medium bodied, medium carbonation. Alright. Bottle from Tesco Express.
2.9 500ml bottle, thanks to Gary for sharing. Clear late straw coloured body. Bare naked at the top, dotted spots on the glassware. Aroma of apple skins. Rather fresh taste of apples, sweet and semi-tart. Prolonged ending. Fine depth. Quite alright. (Kirkley, Lowestoft 07.07.2019).
4.4 Bangelijk, goed bij rogan josh
3.6 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - steady carbonation and yellow. Nose - dry wood and apple skin. Taste - apple fruit up front, then an edge of wood and apple skin. Also yeasty underlay. Palate - lovely tart finish. Tangy through middle. Close to medium bodied. Overall - good dry thirst quencher.
3.6 For a supermarket purchase, it's really good!;) A lot of apples, a bit yeasty. Full yet refreshing. Nice thirst quencher. 3.6
3.5 Clear pale yellow coloured dry cider with vinous and acetic notes on the top of the apple; quite enjoyable
3.1 Half a litre bottle from Asda. Very thin white head. Hazy golden pour. An ok cider.
0.5 Yellow pour - Brother got this in Essex, nice cider, light and not too complex, brand has a cool aesthetic.
3.0 Very light yellow liquid, pours with minimal head that is gone in a second. Aroma is sweet apples but not too sweet. Flavour is apple lightness and a dry finish. ABV is well hidden. This is quite nice to drink if not very complex at all.
3.3 Bottle from Tesco. Extremely pale bolden , slight bubbly head. Aroma is apple juice, kind of tart. Taste brings in more apples, tart and dry. Finish is a bit dry too.
5.0 Probably one the best ciders available. Clean and crisp with a good alcohol content.
Klasse!
3.3 Bottle. Light gold pour. Clean, champagne-like taste. Nicely balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Nicely side-steps the cloyingness that I often can't stand in ciders. Nice one.
3.5 330 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok. Clear light golden colour; Near zero head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Almost no lacing with notable slight carbonation; Fragrant aroma of apple wine, with apple flesh and peels, yoghurt tartness, hint of Balsamic vinegar, strong wood barrels, light sugar and tannin; Mid to light sweet taste of strong apple wine, with strong alcohol, liquorices, fair yoghurt tartness, light sugar and tannin; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is dry apple wine, boozy but not screaming, close to a Scrumpy. Very dry, with good non-juice apple taste accompanied by moderate swetness. Liqruorices and tannin for a fmid- astringent finish. Nice stuff!... Dry after taste. Boozy and fruity to mouth. Comments: Not very often a Scrumpy-like cider can accomodate dryness, booziness and right amount of sweetness. This is one of them - appealing fleshy aroma, dry winey palate with strong booze, controlled sweetness with a bitter finish. A nice example of a good strong cider. A gem!
3.3 Very nice cider, but not as dry as I was expecting it to be. Pale straw colour. Enjoyable.
4.0 🍺 I like this cider. Almost like white wine. Only better. It’s slightly sour, but not too much.
3.5 Bottle at Full Monty. Clear golden color. Dry apple nose, skin. Light sweetness, dry finish, minerals, pear, apples. Gets very dry in the finish. Nice, but the Vintage was much nicer.
2.8 Pale yellow color with no head. Aroma of fermentate apples. Taste dry with a short finish.
3.2 500 ml bottle @home,bb 06/2019. Pale straw, clear. White wine aroma, traces of rotten apple. Taste of dry white wine, green apple. Average carbonation.
2.4 The Cru is false advertising trying to make it sound artisanal like a high end wine. Instead its a carbonated mess. Clearly added carbonation at that. The cider itself is fine. Overly sweet and fizzy for sure. But goes down easily and has just enough acidity to contrast the sweetness. Not real cider but its okay.
3.1 Bottle from Beernavigator. Clear yellow without head. Aroma is dry apples and light sugary. Flavor is quite sweet and slightly acidic. Dry and slightly acidic finish. 270117
3.4 Clear, yellow colored, watery, no head. Aroma is of apple juice, tart apple. Taste is of apples, some apple juice, moderate tart, some apple peel, medium bitterness, very dry finish. Medium bodied, soft- carbonation.
2.8 Bottle. Aroma not good, bit of a rotten apple, farty smell. Light golden colour. In the mouth palate is balanced, light green apples, dry but not teeth shattering. Light carbonation. Ok flavour wise, but I’m guessing the ’Cru’ is just advertising nonsense.
3.3 Bottle. Yellow gold body. Apple, lime. Sour, some sweet notes. Dry finish. An English equivalent of Cava or champagne.
3.6 Bottle, 500ml. *** Colour: Bright, pale yellow, clear, small head. *** Nose: White wine, apples, lemon. *** Mouthfeel: Medium body, hardly watery. Moderate carbonation. *** Taste: Again a taste of semi-sour white wine (like Sauvignon Blanc), lemon, some apple peel. Lemon dominating the middle, with continued white wine notes. Semi-dry finish, again lemon, apple peel. The latter prominent in the medium-long aftertaste. *** Impressions: Very elegant and wine-y cider, with apple fruitness in the back seat. Lively and refreshing, you won’t be able to tell that this is 7% ABV. Not too dry (the label says "full dry" - not so!). Those who like the fruity red apple taste in cider should, however, abstain.
