3.1bottle @ újbudai sörszaküzlet (budapest) brown colour, normal body, average carbonated, beige head, roasted malty, caramel, sweety, easy to drink
3.450cl Bottle @ LaBIRRAtorium, Madrid, Spain.
Copper colour with a thin white head.
Aroma is toasted malt, straw, hints of nuts.
Taste is toasted malt, sweet, bread, nuts, hints of chocolate.
Medium body, average carbonation.
2.8Strong rye-like aroma. Dry and crispy, a bit thin mouthfeel. No rye in flavour but a peasant tingly feel in the mouth so hops are there I assume but well hidden. Very drinkable but quite average. Beautifully bright and reddish.
3.9Bottle from Appellation Wines. Beautiful copper pour, but a minimal off-white head. Aromas of nuts, red fruit, green coffee beans, cacao, caramel. Taste has all this, but cleans up beautifully. Chocolate linger, but crisp. Mmm.
3.450cl bottle from Conad, Rimini, Italy. Pours a beautiful brilliant red brown, transparent, with fine light cream foam. Aroma is malty. Body is medium-light, with moderate average carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with very limited bitterness. Final seems short.
4.0Poured on mug. May not be 100% accurate on looks, but i'd say clear to mid brown, with an average sized, rather dense per style head, that shows nice retention and a bit of lacing. Aroma notes: brown bread/bread crust base, with the slighest roasted/coffee note. There's a rather vivid nutty and cola character on the back of things to give this a soft feel. Plus, slight notes of dark fruits and a hint of something that's not quite spiciness but i can't describe elseways. It's a decently strong, but most of all deep and nicely soft aroma. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, again with nice depth and most of all excellent balance. Medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness, a slight sweet edge in the mouth and a clean, semi-dry finish. Light to medium body, light to medium carbonation; a rather easy and smooth mouthfeel, but with a touch of softness that gives this beer a nice layer of depth. Overall: highly drinkable as it should be, but perfectly crafted and delicately complex. A wonderful example of the style.
4.5One of the best lager beers you can get even when it´s from a big brewery. When you are scoring/rating a beer on foam, color, taste, nuts, vanilla etc perspective view, than you know nothing about smoothness, taste ... of a german or czech lager beer. This is really far from what you can sense ellswhere in the world. You need to get these beers under your skin. It is not a one time taste. 5/5
4.1Poniendome al dia con mis cervezas ya probadas.

3.1Botella 500ml Color cobrizo-rojizo, espuma beige, fina, mediana, retencion media. Aroma malta tostada, pan, caramelo, frutos secos. Buena
4.0From tap at Augustiner Bräustuben in Munich 06.08.21. Clear mahogany amber. Beige head snd lacing. Well-balanced taste of medium roasted, seeet malt, dried berries, brittle and noble hops. Good!
3.4Muy buena dunkel
3.3Foamy off white head left a creamy cover on a reddish brown still body.
Malt, berry & toffee aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a lively cloying back.
Malt, toffee, jam, demerara & fruity tastes with a lightly hopped finish.
Decent
4.0De Labirratorium. En copa hefe de Bavaria. Jugando a Bloxburg con Asun. Dunkel bien hecha.
3.3500ml bottle as part of a delivery from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Light ruddy brown, clear with a quickly dissipating beige head. Not much aroma, I'm getting a little bit of chocolate malt but little else. Sweet nutty taste takes on a bitterness very quickly, finish bitter with notes of caramel and berries. It's more complex than many dunkels but ultimately doesn't leave that much of an impression.
3.9Bottle. Nose is malty, toffee, caramel, nuts, hint of dark fruit. Taste is malty, nutty, light caramel, a touch of honey, toffee, bready, the slightest hint of earthiness in the finish.
It smells fantastic, and is very enjoyable.
3.650cl bottle at home. Clear dark copper color with big and frothy white head. Looks nice. Good if a bit gentle aroma of roasted malt and nuts. Taste is similar with notes of nuts, caramel, toffee, some chocolate, and a pretty sweet malt, but kind of very gentle taste, i mean it's very good tasting but extremely easy and drinkable, maybe could have a more intense taste. Still very crisp, good tasting and pleasant. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Low bitter, also nice 5.6% abv that helps ... great dunkel!
3.8Bottle at home, 7th March 2021. Pours a chestnut brown and clear. Aroma is caramel, nutty, malts. Taste is caramel, malts, dark malts, light chocolate and yeast, light nuttiness. Pretty tasty Dunkel
3.5Clear amber pour, quick light tan head. Nose is light coco and roasted malt. Middle is medium kilned malt, hints of coco or bakers chocolate, slightly earthy. Finish is malty.
3.522-12-20 // 500ml bottle. From Stumpf. Solid but average. Clear brownish. Light malt sweetness. Light dry roasted malts. Minimal nutty.
4.8Bottle from German Club on 20 November 2020. When you can’t go to Germany the next best thing is the German Club. This beer looks so good in the glass - deep deep bronzed copper colour with a soft light head of foam. Smells like toffee and tastes like toffee that you buy at a school fete. Seriously good Dunkel.
3.8Bottle from Hops and Crafts Exeter. Pours clear amber with a off white head . Aroma of toffee, hay, chocolate, coffee, pepper, spiced pear, apple & brown bread. Taste of toffee, chocolate, brown bread, hay, coffee, pepper & pear. On the light side of medium bodied with a smooth, sticky mouthfeel and ok carbonation. The finish is dry and sweet with more brown bread, toffee , chocolate, pepper and hay.
3.6Bottle. Dark copper color. Brown sugar, caramelized malt aroma and taste. Some sweetness in the after taste.
3.4Pours a nice copper color with soft white head. Sweet bready aroma und taste.
Notes: on tap at at Augustiner am Markt, Leipzig Oct ‘20 🇩🇪
3.4Klar bernsteinfarben mit beiger Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht röstmalziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht röstmalzig, etwas Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.
3.0A good cooper malty beer with a nice bitter finish
3.4Butelka. Ciemny, prawie czarny kolor. Piana wysoka, palona o beżowym odcieniu. Dominuje karmel i palony brązowy cukier, słód, lekka kawa inka, toffi.
3.6Clear, mahogany beer with a brief light tan head. Burnt sugar and black treacle aromas and flavours. Low carbonation, medium to slightly sticky mouthfeel. Lots of malty sweetness, fairly decent dunkel.
3.50,5 l bottle from our Hol´ Ab! market. Clear dark copper with a more than two finger pale beige foamy head in the glass! Looks great! Smells malty with some sweetness. Taste the same, malty, some caramel sweetness, getting more toasted in the second part. Low carbonation. Really quaffable stuff. Nothing more to say.
