3.9One of a handful of beers I purchased at Amathus Soho in London a month or so back, I’ve looked forward to this one, a Belgian. A snifter in hand from an Austin brewer, I’m ready to go. A pale gold-yellow body topped by a creamy head of nearly white foam. I appreciate the scent, ripe yellow fruit, straw and sweetness something from the field. I take a drink, this is pleasant with nectarines, apricots, crackers and yeast. Light in the mouth, easy to enjoy.
3.1Yeah ok. Bit sweet
3.9Yeasty, citrusy, lemony with a long lasting spicy aftertaste. Very good beer overall.
3.3Large foamy white head stayed on a finely carbonated golden coloured body.
Belgian yeast, citrus & spiced aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth & airy over the tongue with a dry back.
Sweet citrus, spicy, Belgian yeast & herbal tastes with a tangy finish.
Standard.
4.0On tap @ Taste of Belgium, Crestview Hills, KY. Clear golden amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast, and spice, maybe a bit of lemon. Taste is yeasty malt, fresh grass, lots of carbonation, then light bittering in the finish. Solid, but not exceptional, Belgian Ale.
3.2Delhaize 33cl bottle. At home. Pours perfect clear golden, white 'mousse' head. Typical 'hot' yeast tripel, lots of ester, quite carbonated, some coriander too I think. Very light metallic finish. Quite standard tripel in the 7,5% department.

3.8Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Beautiful Beers. Pours clear gold with a big, billowing, frothy white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of sourdough, biscuits, Belgian yeast, light grass, straw, lemon rind. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, more crispy biscuits, hay, yeast, citrus accents, honeysuckle. Really tasty and drinkable.
3.1C: pale golden
N: soapy, spicy, malty
P: malty, dry, slightly pasty, spicy notes. Bland overall.
3.3330ml bottle from Land of Beers, Bedford. Pours just off-clear pale gold with a large, frothy white head. Aroma: grainy malts, lemon rind, Belgian yeast esters. Taste: moderate+ sweet, crisp, dry, grains, light white wine, lemon rind, banana, peach, Belgian yeast, spice. Medium body with frothy carbonation.
3.3Nose. Light yeast, malt, fruity notes (peach?), Something from blanche. Taste. Yeasty, spicy, some fruit, hoppy aftertaste. It's a good beer, but I'm not overjoyed.
3.4Clean golden color, medium white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, honey, grassy hops and cloves.. Sweet lightly dry taste with good hoppy bitterness in finish and aftertaste. Medium body and fizzy carbonation.
3.1Aroma: sweet malt, light sharp tea, apricot
Appearance: golden, just hazy, sudsy white head
Taste: some malt, pepper, balancing hop
Palate: long sweet malt and clean hop finish
3.7Underrated beer. Tons of belgian yeast phenols. Bubblegum and pepper. Clean and boozy strong but lowish abv for the feel. Sterk ams
3.4Flesje thuis gedronken.
3.1Poured from the tap. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Sweet fruit, yeast, not particularly complex.
3.0Hé bien...
3.1Well that could best be described as a pale ale on steroids. Lovely golden colour, with one of the better heads I've had. Definitely got some caramel notes flavour wise but not much more than that. Like it's grand but wouldn't be crawling back for more anytime soon. That being said would be perfect if your bored at a family BBQ and need a kick up the arse
3.311-05-2021; bottle; at the Swedish house (bought at an unknown location).
The looks of the beer are nice. It is a golden yellow beer, crystal clear and with a frothy white layer off foam on top. Foam retention is average and a thin drape is left on the beer. Not bad.
The aroma of the beer is nice. The malts are nice and bready, with a touch of caramel and honey. Hops are nice and herbal, with some spicy notes. Some nice Belgian yeast gives some aromas of banana and a herbal touch. All is pretty decent and orderly, nothing out of the ordinary.
The taste of the beer is fine. Sweet malts, bitter hops and some hoppy acidic notes. The beer is well balanced. Not very special though.
The beer has a decent mouthfeel. Medium body, smooth texture and medium carbonation. The finish has some nice fruity hops and some nice malty aromas in there. All in all, it is quite a fine beer, but nothing out of the ordinary.
3.4Hoppig, maar niet té. Zoeterige afdronk
3.4Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Golden pour with big frothy head. Some banana, yeast, sweet malt, bit of alcohol in finish. Decent beer.
3.0Goudgeel bier met een witte schuimkraag. Licht hoppig en licht kruidig. Redelijk koolzuurhoudend. Lichte gistsmaak. Lichte citrus toets.
3.3Bottled, 330ml from Kay Gees Off Licence, Didcot, Oxon. Gold with white head. There are Belgian yeasty flavours to the fore with this, quite peppery, estery in character. Fruity and spicy hints, quite nasal perfumed notes. There is a note of alcohol. It's fine.
3.3petite blonde avoine épeautre . un peu sûre citronnée
