3.8 Pale yellow body with a bright white head. A bright nose of hay and citrus. There is also a bit of herbal medicinal goodness. The taste is lightly bitter with some bread crust and roasted peanut shells. The mouthfeel is tingling with lots of carbonation. There is just a hint of black pepper spice the finish. Well done and just interesting enough to keep one drinking. A solid hoppy pils.
3.3 Lagerish funk aroma. Flavor has the lagerish funk, but not as much as other pilsners, and it is balanced by some hops. Dry bitter finish. More enjoyable than most pilsners and a bit more flavorful, but still an overall boring style. But this one is really a descent Pilsner. Light but malty with good flavor.
3.7 Pretty but quickly dissipating head, non-distinct aroma, light yellow wheat beer appearance, citrus piney lingering bitterness, easy drinking and great (believe it or not my palate judges this way) "burp" flavor. Easy drinking at 4.7%
3.3 On can from Gulating Ølutsalg, Lørenskog. Pale golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; citrus, fruity with light hops. Medium/light body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Enjoyable
3.3 Gulbrun klar med høyt hvitt skum som sitter godt. Sitruslukt, klementin og noe fudge. Frisk lett bitter, fruktig sødme mot sydhavsfrukter Kort bitterhet i avsluttningen.
3.4 Can. Pours clear light yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is floral hops with grassy and light zesty herbal notes, as well as pilsner malts with bread. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is bitter grassy hops, with herbal notes and some citrus peel, as well as malts with cereals. Quite dry, light bitter finish.
3.0 19.05.2016, 12 oz can @ home: Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is grainy, weeds, dried grain, grass, hay, leafs, flowers, cereal. Taste is dry floral, weeds, hay, flowers, light malts, grass, minerals, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.
3.7 Can, shared by me... in the library... just now. Pours a pale yellow color, hazy, with a big head and nice lacing on the glass. It’s got a nice floral and lightly citrusy aroma. Some light sweetness and soft doughiness in there, pretty nice smelling really. The flavor is dry, nicely bitter... maybe a touch of aspirin going on... but otherwise it’s a floral & herbal hoppiness that dominates the flavor of the beer. The malt is subdued but has a very nice crispness to it. This is just fine
3.1 Can from Humlen Ølutsalg, Bergen. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Nose is minerals, grass, red berries and hints of hay and pilsener malts. Taste is pilsener malts, straw, bread dough and hints of grass and faint red berries. Light, crisp body, medium to high carbonation. Classic pilsener with no big surprises; clean and well brewed. Refreshing.
2.7 Lukt: Søtlig humle og malt. Utseende: Lys gyllen. Skum/kullsyre: Dekkende skum, noe karbonering. Smak: Søtlig masiaktig humle og malt. Hvor: Kjøpt@Vaaland, Bryne, Nydt@Hjemme. Medium: Boks@330ml, ABV@4,7%, Når@04.05.2016
3.4 A mild bready grain aroma. Hazy golden body. An exuberant 3 fingered head that lingers a long time. Like the aroma it it has modest grain and bread taste, Has light bitter bite. Has a subtle dry tart finish.
3.3 Can to pilsner. Haze corn silk yellow. Foamy white head. Corny pilsner nose and the palate comes right in line. Little bitter note, little hint of sweet towards the end.

3.1 Can. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma of grass, grains, citrus and floral hops. Flavor was crisp & bitter with grass, bread, grains, citrus, floral and had a dry and bitter finish.
3.2 Grassy and straw. Lemon. Very bitter and dry. Not a huge fan. Poured from can at home. Yellow with white head
3.6 According to Avery, Joe’s Pilsener is a contemporary American Pils -- does that mean more hops? If so, Joe’s definitely delivers. Pils malt is clean and bready. The German nobles are herbaceous, floral, grassy, and citrusy. Finish has lingering bitterness. There seem to be lots of hoppy Lagers on the market now, but you won’t catch me complaining.
3.3 Pale yellow with big bright white head. Grain, lemon and hint of hops. Flavor is much the same with a clean finish.
3.0 12 ounce can served in a lager glass. Pale yellow colored body; hazy with a big white head that also emerged from the can itself when the tab was popped. Aroma: about equal levels of malts and floral/grassy hop notes. Flavor: Mild-moderate bitterness. Grassy and lemony citrus hop character. with a light cracker palate. Feel: Crisp dry finish.

3.0 Aroma - grass and some citrus Appearance - golden yellow, white head - small lacing Taste - sweet fruit, floral qualities, and a bit of Saaz hops Palate - dry and grassy finish
3.4 Tap at Watering Hole. Clear gold with a one-finger head of white foam that dissipates but leaves a rim around the glass. Light apple, grass and pepper on the nose with some biscuity malts. Crisp on the palate with some good malt character. Finish is slightly bitter with cracked pepper and light grass. Not bad.
3.2 Tap at Fujiyama. Clear gold, low head. Bit of grass and lemon in th enose, biscuity malt. Well balanced flavor, ok malt, ok hop. Clean and decent but not at all special and not any better than a lot of major Japanese all-malt lagers.
3.5 Avery joe Pilsner Take away glass at Fujiyama. A light cloudy gold with a dense foamy head. Bready spicy peppery green aroma. A fruity lightly bready peppery green hoppy flavor. The taste is dry and spicy green hops.nice but overall fairly so so

3.4 4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the 22 years of Avery event. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of malt, citrus, light wheat. Tastes of wheat, malt, lemon citrus. Light body with a dry finish.
3.5 12 ounce can. Pale yellow color with a big white head. Sweet grainy malt nose has floral hop notes. Soft dryish bitter flavor upfront. Lemony citrus hop character with a light cracker palate. Very smooth and refreshing. Crisp dry finish.
3.3 Can from Julio’s. Very pale gold with lasting head and lace. Mild grassy doughy aroma with a hint of floral. Very light crackery malt sweetness with a touch of melon and grassy hops but very very mild on the back end. Not dry but not lingering sweet either so it feels watery. Tastes all right, but not as well executed (crisp dry with a little bite and strong noble aroma) as I expected. Good.
2.6 355ml can. Pours yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of sweetish crisp malts, grassy notes, hints of earthy notes. Taste is sweetish, grainy and earthy with hints of hay and citrus. Finish is crisp, malty and sweet. A bit messy.
